Author’s POV:

Jihoo recollected his abstract proposal to Somin while he waited for Somin. He took out his phone and viewed Jessica’s message where she told him to confess his feelings to her.

“I did try…” he sighed.

“Try what?”

Somin’s voice startled him.

“Oh nothing….” Jihoo fumbled. Somin tilted her head to one side and looked at him with narrowed eyes

“Really it’s nothing….but what took you so long?” it was now Jihoo’s time to narrow his eyes

“Oh…nothing” Somin jolted up and replied

Jihoo mirrored her previous action and tilted his head to one side squinting his eyes. Somin couldn’t resist a giggle.

“Jessica and Dong Sun-nim were having some issues…” Somin explained

“And you tried to be their fairy godmother”

“Yah!” Somin slapped his arm “I just tried to help”

“Yea yea…the great Jung Somin always going around helping people” Jihoo rolled his eyes as they walked into the parking lot.

“Ah hyung!” Kyujong greeted Hyunjoong as soon as he entered

Hyunjoong looked around to find the SSboys gathered in his apartment. He blinked in confusion and stepped back to read the addressplate on the front door. No mistake—it IS his apartment

“What are you all doing in my apartment?” Hyunjoong asked totally bewildered.

“Oh quit the formalities now….c’mon on in…we have news!” Hyungjoon hopped upto him and dragged him to the sitting area.

“Eeeew hyung!” Jungmin cried squinting his eyebrows and holding his nose “You stink!”

“Ofcourse I would! I have been working relentlessly since morning! And now when I thought that finally I’ll have some time to myself…you all are here! What are you all doing here?” Hyunjoong cried in utter shock

“Aaargh! Always restless and asking questions! Go and take a shower now…PALLI!” Hyungjun pushed leader into his room “Be quick hyung” he said and shut the door.

Hyunjoong’s mouth fell open. He finally sighed and went into the bathroom to shower

Finally when he came out and joined his dongsaengs Hyungjun cried,”Hyung we have news. Our horsey here is in love! He is in love with Somin-sshi and he’s going to propose to her tomorrow! Isnt that great!”

“I know” Hyunjoong answered coldly

“What? You knew?” Hyungjun’s face fell “ How?”

“Youngsaeng told me yesterday.”

“This is not fair!”Hyungjun made a big pout. He really wanted to be the one to break the news to Hyunjoong but  Youngsaeng  stole his thunder. He shot Youngsaeng a death glare.

“Ok you can cry later baby” Jungmin said dismissing Hyungjun “hyung… I really need your help.”

“How can I help?” Hyunjoong said in irritation

“You know Somin much much better than me…tell me what are the things she likes.”

I don’t have time for all this crappy cheesy stuff. I’m tired” Hyunjoong snapped and started to get up. But Jungmin grabbed his hand strongly. Hyunjoong turned around to yell at him but then he saw his eyes. They were filled with sincerity and true love.

“Hyung please…help me” Jungmin whispered

Hyunjoong has never seen his dongsaeng like this. Jungmin had girls in his life before infact there were too many of them. Jungmin was great with women—his charm was something the ladies could never resist. So he had girls around him all the time…but he wasn’t a playboy. He flirted and everything but never misused a girl. Infact many atimes girls threw themselves at him but he made sure he made them understand the situation—he wasn’t the commitment kinda guy. But now with Somin it was different. He seemed to be really in love with her;his eyes clearly reflected his heart

“You really love her don’t you?” Hyunjoong said placing his hand over Jungmin’s

“Yea…” Jungmin chuckled “Atfirst it was just harmless flirting though I felt a strange connection between us. But as I got to know her that pull started to grow stronger…it is weird you know…it’s as if she’s everything I needed. It’s like she’s the Sun and I’m the earth orbiting around her”

“Gosh! Jungmin! That’s the cheesiest thing I’ve ever heard” Hyunjoong mocked

“Hyung that’s nothing compared to the ones he has been going on with for the past few days!” Hyungjun rolled his eyes

“Yea he has been saying the cheesiest lines in the history of cheesy lines!” Kyujong mocked

“ I guess you become cheesy when you’re in love….never thought I will succumb to this lovesick thing but here I am hopelessly in love and saying cheesy stuff like ‘you’re the oxygen I need’ “ Jungmin smiled

Hyunjoong looked at him caringly and smiled.

“Hyung I want her to be surrounded by all her favorite things when I confess to her…so that when she says yes I get added to that list as well” Jungmin’s eyes gleamed with the glory of true love “So hyung…will you help me?”

“Well you have to learn my song Lucky Guy” Hyunjoong said thoughtfully scratching his chin

“Huh? Lucky guy?” Jungmin blinked in confusion

“Yep cause my ‘Lucky Guy’ is one of her favourites!” Hyunjoong winked and everyone laughed

“What else?” Jungmin took out a notepad and was ready to jot down Somin’s list of favorite things

“Umm…” Hyunjoong tried to think when he remembered Somin in her Hell Kitty pajamas. A sweet smile formed across his lips. “She loves ‘Hello Kitty’ “

“Okay. Hello Kitty” Jungmin noted down attentively

Hyunjoong remembered the time when they ordered mushroom ravioli “Mushroom ravioli of Mocha’s. She absolutely loves it! But without pepper…pepper gives her coughs”

Youngsaeng looked at Hyunjoong intently as Jungmin noted down

“She loves Ferro rocher” Hyunjoong said as he remembered her finishing an entire box in hardly fifteen minutes.

“How about flowers? She likes roses ofcourse!” Jungmin said and started to scribble it down too when Hyunjoong stopped him

“No! Actually Somin isn’t a big fan of flowers. If you’re planning to give her a bouquet,don’t. Somin is a big environmentalist. She feels flowers look best when on trees. She doesn’t like them cut”

“Jongmal?” Jungmin cried in surprise “Wow hyung! You know her so well! If I hadn’t known any better I’d have thought you love her”

Hyunjoong’s heart stopped hearing his words. Hyunjoong looked around nervously and Youngsaeng’s deep observing gaze caught his eyes. “I think you’ve got enough number of items in your list…I am going to sleep” Hyunjoong rose up quickly and hurriedly went into his room

The SSboys left soon after
