Somin turned away and walked to her cabin but Dong Sun called her

“Somin-sshi this is the rough script for the Valentine Special” Dong Sun handed her the pen-drive

“Valentine Special?”

“Yes! I have decided to have a special valentine’s day where Shawn confesses to Misaki and they kiss. Didn’t Jihoo tell you?”

“He must have mentioned I forgot I guess…Mianhe…” Somin bowed and went looking for Jihoo. She finally found him talking to Jessica.

“One second unnie but I need him” Somin hurriedly said and before Jessica fully nodded took him away

“Yah! Wat’cha doing?!” Jihoo shouted as he freed himself from her grip easily

“I don’t care what you think of me! Whether you hate me,loathe me! But don’t try to disrupt my work! You get it?” Somin said through gritted teeth

“Disrupt? Wha—“

“Valentine Special! Why didn’t you tell me about it? Dong Sun-nim said you knew!”

“Oh….I-I forgot”

“I know you forgot intentionally! Listen this is the last time I’m saving your back get it? I shouldn’t have done it considering how you’ve been treating me but if there’s another slip, mark my words I wont bother to save you.” Somin stormed off.

By the time Somin came out with her things everyone had left--Dong Sun and Jessica left thinking she had already left with Hyunjoong and the boys

As she stepped out of the studio into the parking lot—

“Don’t you have anyone to drop you home today?”

Somin turned around thinking it was Hyunjoong but it wasn’t. Her face fell when she saw it was Jihoo.

“I can go home by myself”

“I doubt that”

Somin pouted and started to walk away. Soon a white bike drifted past her and stopped infront of her stopping her abruptly in her tracks. The rider turned around and pushed the glass of his helmet up—it was Jihoo.

“Come sit. I’ll drop you”

“No need” Somin said arrogantly and started to walk around the bike

“I made a mistake” Jihoo suddenly said which stopped Somin again “ I didn’t tell you about the Valentine special. It was highly unprofessional. I’m sorry. “

Somin looked at him. Though he wasn’t looking at her but at the controls of the bike,he seemed sincere.

“I hope you have a spare helmet” Somin said cutely

Jihoo smiled slightly as he understood he was forgiven. He turned and took out the spare helmet. Somin put it on

“Do I look too goofy?”  she pouted

“Yaah the goofiest!” and they both laughed. Somin got on and Jihoo started the engine. As the bike started Somin realized she need to grab something solid to keep her balance but the only solid thing around was jihoo. She didn’t know where to put her hands,

“around his waist?” Somin thought “No that’s reserved for girlfriends! Ottoke I’d fall if I didn’t hold something! Guess I’ll hold on the back handle.”

But that wasn’t very helpful.

“Put your hands on my shoulders” Jihoo said as if answering her dilemma

She obeyed.

As they waited at the signal—

“I didn’t do it intentionally” Jihoo suddenly said

“Hmm?”

“Not telling you about the Valentine special,I didn’t do it intentionally. Actually I thought I’d be fired today cause of you reporting against me so I was abit occupied and then that incident…I totally lost my nerves today”

“Its okay”

The signal turned green again and they started off again. After a while Jihoo slowed down the bike—they were now riding at a much slower pace.

“Why didn’t you report me by the way? Anybody else would have” Jihoo asked

“Cause no matter how you treat me,you’re still an efficient AD and Dong Sun needs another helping hand. I’m not enough”

Jihoo glanced at her hand on his shoulder and smiled.

Soon they arrived at her place.

“ I’ll be going then” Somin handed back the helmet.

Jihoo nodded. When she was about to get in Jihoo called out “It was you right?”

Somin tuned and tilted her head in a questioning gesture

 “Haera’s best friend?”

Somin sighed and nodded

“ I’m sorry” Jihoo said
