“The food was great hyung” Jungmin bowed

“Oh mal! These formalities really doesn’t suit you” Hyunjoong said and the two brothers hugged and patted each other’s back

“Take care Jungmin” Youngsaeng hugged him next followed by Hyungjun

“I’m gonna miss you” Hyungjun sniffed

“Me too. I’m really gonna miss all of you. These few days have been blissful” Jungmin sighed. Everyone looked at him with a sad smile and then the SSboys-Youngsaeng,Jungmin,Hyungjun and Hyunjoong-gathered for a group hug. “Too bad Kyu missed the group hug” Jungmin pouted

“Yeah” the boys sighed

“I should get going now. Have an early flight to catch”Jungmin said and looked at Somin who was standing behind Hyungjun. Maknae noticed him looking and immediately understood.

“Somin-sshi why don’t you walk with Jungmin to his car?” Hyungjun tugged at Somin’s hand

The totally naïve Somin readily agreed to the proposition and walked over to Jungmin.

“Wait! She can’t go!” Hyunjoong cried and everyone turned to him. “She-She has to help me with the-the dishes” Hyunjoong said clearing his throat

“I’ll help you with the dishes hyung” Hyungjun volunteered and went over to Hyunjoong’s side

“No but she has stuff to do..”Hyunjoong didn’t want Somin to go with Jungmin but he had no excuses to hold her too.

“No she doesn’t and even if she does we’re all here” Hyungjun swirled his hand around the room pointing to Youngsaeng and Hwangbo “We’ll help out” he squeezed Hyunjoong’s shoulder signaling him to let jungmin go with Somin.

Hyunjoong understood the signal but he really wanted to stop Somin. He looked at Youngsaeng helplessly

“Let her go Hyunjoong…we can manage for a while without her” Youngsaeng said and with that Hyunjoong’s hopes of keeping Somin away from Jungmin thrashed.

“Okay we’ll be going then” Jungmin said and turned but Somin stood there looking at three of them apprehensively

“Will it really be okay?” Somin said lowly

Hyunjoong opened his mouth to speak but Hyungjun stepped forward “Somin-sshi its not like you’re going away forever? It’ll be fine…go” he said smilingly

Hyunjoong sighed and Somin nodded and left with Jungmin. As soon as they were out Hyungjun shut the door and turned to face Hyunjoong

“Hyung why were you stopping them? You know Jungmin wants to confess to Somin then why were coming in the way?” Hyungjun cried in disbelief. Hwangbo turned to Hyunjoong in surprise and then to youngsaeng. Youngsaeng didn’t tell her about this twist in the story and it took her totally offguard. She narrowed her eyes and shook her head—she was totally pissed with Youngsaeng. Why was he keeping things from her? Youngsaeng understood she was mad,he gulped nervously. Hyunjoong’s response was what interrupted their glaring fight

“I-I forgot about that” Hyunjoong mumbled

“You forgot?” Hyungjun squeeled “How can you—“

“Hey hey! Its okay they have left together now. That’s what we wanted right? So leave it now..let’s go and wrap up the table” Youngsaeng patted Hyungjun’s back to calm him. Hyungjun shook his head and walked to the table. Hwangbo gave Youngsaeng one last glare before she followed Hyungjun to the table as well.

Youngsaeng sighed and turned to go to the table when Hyunjoong stopped him

“Why did you let them go?” Hyunjoong whispered

“Look here…you are not doing anything! You are still tangled up in your own feelings. If you continue to be like you are now then one day or the other Somin will grow tired of waiting and go off with someone else. “ Youngsaeng stated in anger. He was really tired of Hyunjoong’s confusion

“You think Jungmin will be better for her than me?” Hyunjoong said through gritted teeth

“I dunno but atleast he knows his feelings. He fell for Somin the moment he saw her and now he’s confessing. This is how things should be like”

Somin and Jungmin emerged from the elevator into the parking lot.

“The dinner was great. You rolls were really delicious” Jungmin beamed at Somin

“Thanks” Somin smiled shyly

“I still didn’t get to kiss your hands. May I?” Jungmin held out his hands

Somin bit her lip nervously. Jungmin dropped his hands but only to pick up both of hers. He bowed down and planted two soft caressing kisses on either of her hands. He rose up to find a blushing Somin. He smiled and pinched her cheek and they again started to walk towards his car. When they reached, Jungmin turned to face Somin

“Somin I have something to say”

“Yes”

“I love you. Will you be mine?”

Somin was speechless—she was not expecting this and had no idea how to respond.

“If your answer is yes come to the airport tomorrow. If you’re not there I’ll understand. Don’t worry we’ll continue to be friends like we are now—nothing’s gonna change. So you can say no…if you want.” Jungmin said nervously. “Bye for now” he bent down and kissed Somin’s forehead. “My flight leaves at 10am” he said before getting into the car and driving away
