DING DONG

“Somin what happened again?” Hwangbo cried as soon as she saw somin at her doorstep.

“Noona! You cant do this!” Somin yelled as she got in.

“Do what?” a totally taken aback Hwangbo inquired as she shut the door

“Sacrifice your love!”

Hwangbo’s fear choked her momentarily. “Sac-sacrifice my love? I don-don’t know what you’re saying” she turned away to avoid eye contact

“Unnie I know you love Youngsaeng” Somin pulled her towards herself

“Wha-what kinda joke is this?” Hwangbo stuttered “Is th-this a prank? Its hidden ca-camera right?” she tried to pretend looking for the hidden camera but Somin pulled her by her hand.

“Unnie stop pretending…I know what happened last time you went to the dorm” Somin cried. Hwangbo looked at her in shock. “The camera was mistakenly on and it recorded the conversation between you and Youngsaeng”

“If you have already seen everything then why are you asking?” Hwangbo said calmly,giving up her pretense. Somin fell silent. “You know why we cant be together….” She said,hopelessly

“But unnie you cant just let go of your love like this—“

“This is how it is in our world Somin-ah…we cant always be with the person we want.” Hwangbo cupped her face “I am so happy Hyunjoong found you…otherwise in this industry finding love and being able to keep it….” Hwangbo sighed “It’s not easy”

“But unnie…“tears pooled in Somin’s eyes

Hwangbo haulted infront of Somin’s place.

“Unnie…please try and reconsider…maybe there is a way—“ Somin tried but Hwangbo held up her hand

“There is no way…but don’t worry about us…Hyunjoong’s your life now…think about him only. Did you speak to him by the way?”

“Ani…I rushed to see you as soon as I saw the video”

“Hmm…well now’s your chance then” Hwangbo smiled.Somin creased her eyebrows not getting what she meant. Hwangbo pointed to the Somin’s driveway. Somin turned to find Hyunjoong black sedan parked there. “Go talk to him”

Somin nodded and got down. When she was about to turn away Hwangbo called her.

“Somin!”

“De?”

“Hyunjoong…don’t tell him about all this”

Somin looked grimly at her and nodded. As she watched Hwangbo drive away she felt really sorry for her. Is image that important to them? So important that they have to sacrifice their love for that? And if that’s so…wouldn’t Hyunjoong also be endangering his career by announcing their marriage news?

Somin’s heart sank as she thought about this. Hyunjoong’s words came back to her

“my true fans want me to be happy…and my happiness is in being with you”

Somin reached the door and rang the bell. Granny opened the door “Hyunjoong’s here. Says he needs to talk to you…he’s waiting in your room”

Somin nodded and proceeded with Granny to her room. She opened the door to find Hyunjoong sitting on a chair in a corner of the room,shaking his leg nervously. As soon as he saw Somin he stood up, he took one urgent step towards but then noticed Granny and stopped

“I’ll prepare something. You kids talk” granny smiled and went away shutting the door behind her.

As soon as she was out, Hyunjoong nervously took another step forward “Somin I’m sorry..I know I shouldn’t—“

Hyunjoong couldn’t say anything further as Somin ran to him and embraced him. Hyunjoong was totally taken aback by this; till now whatever skinship they had it were all initiated by him. But this was the first time Somin came to him. Though it took him offguard but Hyunjoong loved it. He wrapped his arms around Somin and felt her warmth. “I’m sorry baby..I have stopped viewing forums…I don’t see them in the fear of seeing something bad about the people I care about…I get so angry..” Hyunjoong tried to explain

“I know…I am sorry…I’ll be more understanding next time” Somin said leaning,her hands still wrapped around him.

“Sorry for not explaining to you…I’ll be more considerate next time”

“Mmm…baby steps..” Somin smiled and then suddenly crept up and pecked on his lips “I love you”

Hyunjoong was again taken aback by this sudden affection but he was too overwhelmed to think of the reason "I should get you angry more often" he chuckled and dived in for a deep passionate kiss
