Author’s POV:

It was one of those days again, where Jessica didn’t have much to do. The rate of buyers was at a high steady rate. The company’s name was highly advertised and one of the most popular brands there are. Projects were lessening though. The weather is getting colder as winter starts to roll by, summer is ending. No one would like to go to fancy gatherings and parties in the cold anyways. To make things even more boring, Mommy Wu was off having lunch with JinHee since Kris let her off of work early.

Grabbing her wallet and phone, Jessica wanted to head down to the café in the lobby and get something to quench her thirst. She knocked on the connecting door, getting Tiffany’s attention. Mouthing ‘coffee’ to her, she waved her wallet in her hand, asking her if she wanted her to get one for her.

Tiffany got up and opened the door. “Can you get two? One for me and Kai?” she asked.

“Sure. I’ll treat. What does he want?” Jessica questioned.

“Kai likes the caramel frappuccino.” Tiffany recalled. “You know what I want right?”

Jessica nodded her head before walking towards her office door. “I’ll meet you on the fifth floor!” she called back to her best friend before stepping into the elevator.

Making her way into the café in the lobby, she stared at the menu, deciding on what she wanted since she already knew what Kris would want. Iced coffee. He would order that every time they went somewhere to eat.

Settling on a vanilla bean frappuccino, she made her way into the long line. She waited as the line barely moved. Tapping her heels on the floor, she hummed a tune to distract herself. She wasn’t always patient and she knew it herself.

“You haven’t changed. Always impatient.” A familiar voice spoke next to her.

Jessica looked up to see Jay standing next to her in line. Her eyes were unwavering as she glanced at him. She simply just looked away and turned her back to him, ignoring him.

Jay chuckled, “Your body is still nice as well.” He whispered into her ear.

She gritted her teeth. She wanted to slap him across his face, right then and there for being such a dirty ert, but she remained facing away. Biting her lip, she knew she should’ve visited Kris first before coming down here by herself. She didn’t want another incident to happen.

“Jess, come on. Why aren’t you talking to me?” His voice was closer and she felt his hand touching down her waist.

Turning around quickly, she slapped his hand off of her and decided to do what Kris had told her before. Tell him of politely. “Mr. Park, could you please keep your hands to yourself?” she spoke in a serious tone before giving him an icy glare.

“Whoa, Jess. Sorry,” Jay held his hands up in defense. “I was just used to holding onto you. Sorry if you don’t roll that way anymore.” He smirked.

Jessica kept her cold glare. “Mr. Park, I’d prefer it if you do not call me ‘Jess.’ Miss Jung would be appreciated. Please do not touch me ever again.”

Jay’s eyebrows raised in surprise. “Mr. Park? Miss Jung? Jess, are you okay? It’s weird for you to call me that. Just call me ‘Oppa’ like you used to.”

“I’m sorry Mr. Park, I prefer it this way. If you dislike it, you can always stop talking to me.” she stated strictly before turning back around.

“Hey, Jess. I just wanted to start up a conversation with you, that’s all. Did I make you mad? Sorry.” Jay held onto her hand.

Jessica couldn’t stand it anymore. He was getting annoying and too touchy. She felt violated. She quickly flung her hand out of his grasp. “Mr. Park. Please stop talking to me and keep your hands to yourself. I do not wish to communicate with you any further.” She stepped out of line and quickly walked out of the café and towards the elevators.

“Jess!” Jay called out after her and grabbed onto her wrist before she could walk away any further.

She fumbled back from his sudden grasp and hard pull. Jay caught her before she fell down and held her by her waist. Jessica quickly pushed Jay off of her and straightened herself up. She was about to walk away again but she saw his hand still grasping onto her wrist.

“Mr. Park! Let go of me.” Jessica’s voice was demanding and cold.

Jay stared at her. “Why won’t you keep up a decent conversation with me?” he asked.

“Let go of me, Mr. Park.” she emphasized clearly with a strong tone.

“Stop calling me that!” he exploded and his grip on her wrist tightened. “Just ing talk to me! Why won’t you talk to me?! Am I that frightening? I’m still a person! Talk to me!!” Jay yelled at her.

Jessica stared at him in fright and fear. Her wrist started to hurt from his tight grip. She tried to yank her arm away from him but he only held on tighter.
