Author’s POV:

“Hyung! How long did you plan on keeping this a secret from me?!” Tao kept complaining. “When did you decide on marrying noona?! How come I didn’t know until now?!”

The two had just left the Jung residence and were on their way to run another errand Kris had to do. It wasn’t until they got into the car that Tao finally spoke up. The panda’s incessant flailing and exclamation of questions were expressed till this point, making Kris already annoyed.

“Was this planned?! Does noona even know about this?!” Tao was still animatedly freaking out. “Did you two discuss about marriage already?! When was this?!”

Kris only sighed and continued to focus on driving, knowing the panda won’t stop his blabber any time soon.

Tao gasped loudly, “HYUNG! WHAT ABOUT ME?! What’s going to happen to me after you and noona get married?! I’m going to be abandoned!”

Stopping at a red light, Kris took the chance to glance over at the panda. “Tao, you’re an adult now. I already let Tiffany know, so you’ll be staying with her.”

Tao only stared at Kris in shock. “You…you…you mean you’re not staying with me?” his lip quivered. “I’m…I’m being abandoned!!” he wailed. “Hyung! You can’t leave me!”

“You can take care of yourself now, Tao. You’re not a child anymore.” Kris reinforced his words. “I encourage you to find a job soon as well.”

The panda only gawked at his hyung as if he was speaking in a different language. “YOU’RE LEAVING ME AND NOW YOU’RE FORCING ME TO GET A JOB?!” he cried out. “I can’t believe this reality!”

“I can still help you from time to time, but I’m not letting you stay with Jess and I.” Kris set the ground rules.

“WHY NOT?!” Tao frowned, looking as devastated as ever. “I bet you that noona would let me!”

“Well, I’m not.” Kris spoke sternly. “There’s no way you’re living with me and my soon-to-be wife.”

Tao folded his arms and pouted. He started to sulk and stare angrily out the window. The day was not going good for him. First, he was lied to about going to see a movie and then he had to share his portion of snacks. Now, he’s being abandoned by his so-called guardian and forced to live on his own. Things are just going great.

The car was driven through a familiar road. Not long after driving down the road, Kris had parked the car. Tao only looked around in puzzlement.

“What are we doing now?!” Tao complained, still clearly upset.

“I’m reserving a place.” Kris replied gladly with a smile on his face and stepped out of the car. “Come on, let’s go.” He ordered Tao before shutting the door.  

Tao groaned and slouched in his seat. After being told he was going to be abandoned after his hyung and noona get married, the panda was still forced to go with Kris to plan a perfect proposal. It wasn’t that Tao was opposing against the marriage. In fact, the panda is extremely happy and ecstatic for Kris and Jessica, but it also meant that he was being left behind to fend for himself, which was NOT what he had imagined at all.

Stomping his way out of the car childishly, Tao shut the door with agitation before treading behind Kris. Accidentally bumping into Kris’s back, Tao stumbled back with a confused face, wondering when Kris stopped in his tracks. Blinking up, Tao recognized the place. Taeyeon and Baekhyun’s house.

“What are we doing here? I thought you said you were going to reserve a place.” Tao folded his arms and tilted his head

Kris pressed on the doorbell. “I’m reserving this place.” He spoke with a grin on his face.

Tao’s face only consisted of a lost looking confused expression. The panda has no idea what his hyung is trying to say.

“Oh! Hyung, Tao!” Baekhyun’s eyes were wide, wondering what his two friends are doing at his house.

After inviting themselves in, Kris and Tao were met with Taeyeon, who looks just as confused as Baekhyun. After everyone made themselves comfortable in the living room, Kris started to reveal explain his upcoming plans.

“WHAT?! MARRIAGE?!” Baekhyun shouted as soon as he heard the word ‘marry.’

Taeyeon only gasped and let out an excited squeal, the complete opposite reaction as her boyfriend. “That’s great!! How did you propose to her? Sica said yes, right?!”

Kris chuckled, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. “Actually, I haven’t proposed yet. I plan to pop the question on the day of our second anniversary, which is also why I need your help.”

A questioning look came across Taeyeon’s happy face. “What is it? I can help you with anything!” she spoke giddily, joyful to be taking part in anything related to her best friend’s soon-to-be marriage.

“Hyung! Are you seriously planning to get married?! With…with Jessica?” Baekhyun emphasized with a shudder.

Taeyeon shot Baekhyun a glower and slapped his arm, telling him that it wasn’t the time to be picking on Jessica like he always does. Baekhyun frowned, rubbing his arm and recoiled. Kris only ignored the bacon’s comment, not having time to fry him for teasing his Jessica.

“I was planning to propose to her at the same exact place I met her, where everything started…which is here.” Kris smiled, remembering the first time he laid eyes on Jessica. “I was hoping that you could help me.”

An expression of awe spread onto Taeyeon’s face, as she clasped her hands together. “That’s …that’s so touching~” her eyes twinkling like stars at how romantic that seemed to be. “Of course I’ll help!” she giggled before sighing. “I’m so jealous of Sica!”

Baekhyun also sighed, “Hyung is going to be married…wah, you’re really old now…”

Kris scowled at the bacon and gritted his teeth. Reaching over, Kris grabbed onto Baekhyun’s ear, punishing him for his ongoing ratty mouth.

“Ah! Ah! Okay! Okay! I’m sorry!” Baekhyun started to apologize while wincing in pain. “I won’t say anything anymore! I wish you and Sica noona happy years of marriage and happiness!!” he clasped his hands together, practically begging.

Kris patted his cheek before spreading a smile on his face and letting go of Baekhyun.

“Geez, so sensitive of being called old…” Baekhyun mumbled, rubbing his now red ear and earning a glare from Kris himself.

Tao nodded his head, hugging onto his Baekhyun hyung to comfort him.

“Ah, also,” Kris remembered. “Jess has no idea about any of this. Not even a single
