Just by hearing the clock's hand, his heart isn't beating normally. Footsteps are busy pacing back and forth, as two hands are almost can’t be place. With heavy breaths filling the entire room, he took a lot of glances to how the other delegates are preparing. About a total of 18 students coming from his team are already settled to one place as they await for only 2 left students.

 

As he decided to left the room, he stops right then to realize the on going chaos outside. “I hope they’ll successfully escape those reporters.” He mutters, going back to where the other students where.

 

“Yoong? They aren’t answering my calls yet.” It was the mushroomed haired girl who approach the doe-eyed guy. Sitting beside him, he was surprised to witness him standing up and instead approach the entrance door.

 

Jinwoon didn’t miss it. He arch a brow towards Nicole and asked… “Is Yoong-ssi avoiding you Nicole?”

 

“Uh… No of course not. It’s-it’s… you know, he’s just worried over Hyun’s safety that is why he ig—“

 

“But wait... you and him are, dating rigth? Oh reminds me of that. how does Yoong and Hyun be together hence, you once claim he and you were… dating?” totally oblivious, The eye-smiled guy wanted to know the entire truth of this confusing events. He all thought the younger and the young president were just friends and those pics from their performance yesterday were all just because they wanted to show a romantic performance. And with the information of Nicole and Yoong seems to be having a good connection with each other the other time, it makes him much confuse with another picture just spreading around. Yoong kissing his crush seems to be relevant for himself.

What is truly the truth?

 

“Uh… Jinwoon-ssi… actually… Uhmm… It’s really a misunderstanding.” Nicole said, fidgeting to her fingers. She doesn’t know how to explain it, but Jinwoon should know the entire truth too. Jinwoon is not anymore just a friend, but a close friend to them.

 

“Is it really true that Yoong and Hyun are… dating? That they fooled the entire press?” asked Jinwoon once again.

As if it was an interesting topic, one of the members of chorale, followed by others sat across their fellow members. Nicole find herself being in a hot seat as other members look at her questionably.

 

“Nicole, we too are both confused here. We can’t approach Yoong because of this. So can you enlighten us? it’s like we aren’t in the same team.” One said a female particularly.

 

Nicole contemplated to answer. She sighed and just took a glance to the doe-eyed guy’s back body.

 

“Nicole?” Jinwoon nudges.

 

Smiling briefly, she turns back to her fellow members and decided to answer it anyway.

 

“It’s just some misunderstanding guys. I and Yoong Oppa, aren’t really… Uhmm, couple or anything. It was just my hallucinations. I have a crush with Yoong, which is why… I was quite closing our distance. Uhmm, truthfully. That time. Yoong and hyun are… dating. And… Uh… they’re still together until now.” Nicole decided to lie. If she’s going to mention the breakup that she causes, for sure, these eyes in front of her will judge her. She’s afraid to be hatred.

 

“So that just means… Yoong and Hyun both lied back when they’re being asked?” But it seems, she’s not yet done by the hot seat.

 

Nicole gulps. How is she going to answer this?

 

“Does that mean, they both lied to us? Huh? Tell us!” Jinwoon clenches, having an urge to burst out the confusions in his head.

 

“Jinwoon-ssi… Uhmm… please calm down. I am not—“

 

“Jinwoon-ssi… do you think it isn't necessary anymore for you to know it?” came Yoong’s voice just before them. All members look up to see a serious young president of them.

 

Taken aback, Jinwoon stood and faces straightly the doe-eyed guy. “I know I don’t have the right to do this, but Yoong… we are one here. You can’t just do this in your own. You should’ve told us the entire story so that we can also be enlightens by all of these confusing events.”

 

“Okay… fine. It is. I and Hyun are a couple and we fooled you guys because we decided to keep it. Happy?” Yoong Furiously said, clenching so tight as well. “We keep it because, we doesn’t want to be the talks amongst these group.

 

The chorale members got silent. All they wear a sorry face towards the doe-eyed guy.

 

“We just want a complete detail Yoong. We never intended to interfere your personal life.” Jinwoon strikes back.

 

“I understand. I just wanted you guys to know our reasons... I’m sorry… for everything.” The doe-eyed guy utter in a mutter before he approach back the entrance door.

 

Leaving speechless, Nicole could only say sorry as well. If it wasn’t for her, there wouldn’t be any breakups. She regretted on how she got the two in the scandal now. She wishes to finish it peacefully sooner or later.

Jinwoon and the other members all could do are to stay silent as they wait for the tan guy and the young brunette.

Arriving at the theater, bunches of reporters greets the team of South Korea. All could think that it’s like a rally or something, but no, it’s just because of the scandal that is spreading the internet. One by one… step by step, reporters started to shoves all their cameras and mics. All wanted a quick answer or so. But the one they’re hooking isn’t even giving them a chance.

Push there, push here, the tan guy was almost wanting to regret why on earth they did helicopter that in the end, they’ll be drop in the exit ground part of the said theater. It didn’t come to their mind that even at the back portion of the theater, there are still reporters who wanted a quick answer from the younger. But who they are fooling? He doesn’t want to allow it.

Getting more pissed, he forcedly push one reporter and quickly as he is, he drags in a rush the younger girl with the rest following them.

 

“Just one answer Miss Seo!”

 

“Miss Seo!!!”

 

“Miss Seo!!!”

 

“Please!!!”

 

The reporters continues to chase until they successfully entered the building and step inside the elevator, the tan guy accidentally pushes another reporter again.

 

“Yul, what was that?” Jessica almost scream, scolding the tan guy. Taeyeon, Seohyun and Fany almost jump in surprise to hear the blonde’s surprising voice.

 

“He’s already over, can’t you see it?” Yul argued.

 

“Still, it’s not a good advice to push them.”

 

“Really? How does it has to be a good advice? Huh? You see how are they trying to grab Hyun’s shirt.”

 

“But did they reach her? Not, right?”

 

“I know but, if you can see it. it’s not anymore doings of a normal person.”

 

“They just wanted to ask a question… that’s why they can do it.”

“So are you saying that we should’ve let Hyun answers them? You  know it’s dangerous. They could’ve hit Hyun.”

 

“I’m not saying like that. I just want you to see that they aren’t to be treated like that. if you are in their position, you will do the same way, too.”

 

Yul scoffs. “So you just admit it. You prefer to make Hyun answers it… even for it’s dangerous.”

 

“Seriously?”

 

“GUYS STOP!”

 

Just as she about to step forward to hit the tan guy, Jessica was stop and startled to see a fuming younger girl.

 

“Unnie, Sunbae. It’s enough. It’s done already. There’s nothing to worry anymore.” The younger outburst, causing the olders to got silent with their nonsense argument.

 

“I’m sorry Hyun.” Yul looks down, out of his shame. Jessica just simply looks a way.

 

“I’m sorry too Sunbae, unnie… for voicing out. Just… Uhmm… really couldn’t fight it. It’s… just… seemingly unleading.”

 

“Hyun… it’s okay.” Jessica responds with a brief smile. “Unnie just can’t let that to happen. Yul here is somewhat getting off with his protectiveness towards you.”

 

Yul was surprised. He literally looked up to see met the blonde’s eyes. “Jess… I’m sorry too.” he said sincerely, which he only earns a small smile from the blonde.

As if on cue, the door opens and they immediately step outside the elevator and met the chorale members of Dunggok in their dressing room. As soon as they got back, they are greeted by a worried face by every member until they spotted the doe-eyed guy on the side, which approaches them almost immediately.

Professor Kwon had arrived on time as well, forming them into a meeting as they prepare for their performance later.

While the group is In the serious mood, Taeyeon, Jessica, and Fany are on the side, watching them intently until it was done. They follow the group ‘till they reach the venue and quickly settle down their respective seats in front of the stage.

 

In the stage, a total of 5 teams occupied their respective rooms and rehearsal dress as they all made their last vocalization before the show started.

This time, the USA Team got the first spot, followed by France, Italy, Canada and lastly, the South Korea Team.

 

“Hello Rome, and hello… “

 

“WORLD!!!” Sooyoung together with her partner Mario Lopez to MC the show is showing an exciting faces when they greeted the audience.

The audience cheers once again to their respective bets for the competition as a response.

 

“Alright, let’s get this show started!” The two MCs said at the same time.

On cue, the music starts and together with this, a totall of 5 teams from different countries slowly walking in to the stage. Audience went wild to their respective countries they’re betting.

 

“Calm down guys, we know that you guys are excited to hear their pieces for this morning. But before anything else, we have to announce an important event. There will be an after party later tonight, so don’t miss it, because… the teams who will win for choir competition and for duet are coming to greet every fans. Be sure to buy tickets and meet your favorite teams.”

 

“Rigth partner. And I Choi Sooyoung will be there too, to interview every members.” Said Sooyoung, which earned whistles to every man in the theater.

 

“Okay… “ Sooyoung and Mario walk at the center of the stage and opens an envelope this time. “You guys might wondering why are the teams here at the stage?”

 

“Yes!”

 

“Well, it’s for this.” just on cue, the theater’s roof suddenly opens, revealing a blue sky above,  and the stage was broke into 5 stages. Audience’s stage moves backwards as the musical instruments were shown at the center. All are having a gasp reaction to yet another surprise from the show.

 

The MCs stood at the center and proceeds to speak…

 

“This time, we are doing this in one time. Each team will do their pieces, then, it will go on and on until we are down to the last team. By doing this, we can see how will each team reacts to one another and I guess… will have the challenge to do their best. Is it? Just only one rule, no violent reactions if… one is doing the same song as the other. Araso?”

 

“Yes!!!”

 

“And… After finalists done their songs, we are going to announce on who places the 3 best choir groups and the champion for this year’s competition. Are you guys ready?” Sooyoung shouted and the 5 different teams goes…

 

“YES!!!”

 

“Here we go…”

 

With that on cue, the theater’s light went off, and a big light focuses on the first team to sing. Music started and immediately, voices from USA team filled the entire theater. It’s a song called ‘Creep’.

While the song is going on, two unknown persons are having their two hands intertwining underneath their seats in the dim lights. These two seems to be having their own moment as one would constantly whisper something and the other would smile and nod to him.

 

And one whisper made even the female balladeer to giggle…

 

“Hyun… are your legs tired?” the doe-eyed guy whispers.

 

“Hmm?”

 

Smiling towards the younger, Yoong answers… “Because you’ve been running through my head all along.”

 

/Smack!

 

The younger almost immediately spanks the doe-eyed guy’s arm, which earned a giggle from the latter. She herself is giggling inside, but she keep her calm and never leaves her eyes and ears to the team who are doing their piece while her left hand won’t leave the doe-eyed guy’s right.

 

“By the way Hyun, I have something to tell you right after this.”

 

As if her mind works, the younger leaned in to whisper. “Are you going to say we are already official?”

 

“No.” Yoong giggle silently, earning a pout from the younger. “But aren’t we yet acting like… we are official?”

 

“But you said we wouldn’t want it that way, first, right?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“So why did you say so?”

 

“Aigoo Hyun… we are indeed not, but we are like this, holding each other’s hand, giggling and even listening to one another’s lame sweet lines and a lot more.”

 

“So we are official.”

 

“Not yet.”

 

“Aish! Why are you always like that.”

 

Yoong paused and look at entirely the younger. He brings his two hands to the latter’s cheeks and says… “Just wait, okay? after this? You’ll know why.”

 

“I really couldn’t understand you.” she pouted.

 

“Me too.”

 

“Can we just get back?”

 

“We are. But not… officially. I’m unofficially yours… baby.”

 

“Baby?”

 

“Yes, not my loves anymore.”

 

“And why?”

 

“It’s just that, it will only reminds me of what we have from our first stage. I want a new start.”

 

“Baby… Okay… I’ll call you… ‘baby oppa’, then?”

 

“EH?”

“Ugh, I’m going to die.” Yoong find himself enjoying their lame sweetness, as the song in the background is filling their ears.

 

Suddenly the entire theater applauded, causing the two sweet lovers look at their front and found out that Italy is already doing their song. That means, they’re about to do their piece too. They both focus their attention back to the ongoing competition as they can’t yet remove their hands from each other.

 

Unknown to the two, just behind them was a tan guy, secretly listening to their sweet moments. All could Yul do is to clench and almost wanted to walk out, but when his eyes landed to Jessica who is in the audience seat, it makes him stop on doing so and stayed at his seat to continue witnessing the two whispering to each other.

Mrs. Im who is in her couch the same time when she witnesses her son’s performance the last time, was having a lot of thoughts. Her reasons for bringing her son to London seem to be not in sync of her plans for her son anymore. Her first plan is only to see her son graduating with a Business major, not nursing. But when she heard about the scandal that is spreading, she doesn’t know what happened to her but, she almost immediately called her son and talk about her plan on sending him off. It wasn’t planned well, but it seems, she’s going to continue her plans. In this way, she can protect her son from every eye of people in South Korea. Nevertheless, she wanted to see her son graduating into a much prestigious school. She won’t argue anymore about shifting course and just wanted to protect her son from those judging eyes she can imagine once her son and his team landed in Seoul.

Leaning her back to her seat comfortably, she witness as South Korea Team is already doing their turn. She can’t help but to feel really sorry for doing it.

 

“Hyun… I’m sorry. You’re such a sweet, caring and kind girl, but I think it’s not yet the right time, you two are still young and can find a lot more guys and girls out there... If you can wait for 4 years, then… I think you two are indeed destined.”
