The doe-eyed guy arrives at the football field with no one around. He look around to spot any sign of Seohyun approaching the place. But there’s none.

 

He trembles of the possibilities—the younger girl is mad at him. But why? He so wanted to know. He doesn’t even know something. How cruel can that be?

 

You and my best friend.

 

That’s the only thing he could flash into his mind. He and her best friend? What’s the real deal? They’re just friends. Or the younger girl is just acting immature?

 

“She’s just acting like we are a couple already.” He chuckle to his self.

 

But being immature isn’t her thing. Is this how love can do to a person?

 

“I really don’t understand her.” He heaved a sigh and just proceeds to sat in her to the greenly football field.

 

He look around to see some few students passing by the field. In the corner, he saw some group of friends chatting in their own while some were lonely in their bench.

 

Looking down his two plates, another heavy sigh escape through his mouth. It’ll be a waste if he’ll just let it there. He need some company, surely.

 

Suddenly his phone rang and he immediately answers it.

 

[Yoong? Where are you now]

 

“Uh… Mom?”

 

[Are you in the way?]

 

“Way? I am not. I’m still in the University. Why?” puzzled, Yoong asked with arching eyebrows.

 

[Yah! you should get back now. Fany and her special friend is already here.]

 

“Oh my, I’m sorry Umma… Okay… I’ll be there later.”

 

[It’s okay. Bye son.]

 

“By mom.” Ending the call, he decided to stood and just leave the place. But when he was about to turn on his back, he saw Nicole jogging towards her.

 

Maybe Hyunnie just left for a while. He thought. “Uh, Nicole? Do you know where’s Hyunnie?” he instantly asked right away when the mushroomed haired girl stops in front of him.

 

“Hyunnie? Oh… she-she… went back to the Music Room. She’ll be back later.” Nicole said. “Uhmm, what’s this?” noticing in the doe-eyed guy’s hands, Nicole wants to assure that this isn’t for her best friend.

 

“Uhmm… It’s-It’s… for Hyunnie… But… since she’s not yet around, join me first here. I want some company.”

 

“Sure, why not?” Nicole’s mood brightens, after hearing the offer. They sat back together and almost immediately, Nicole started their conversation.

“Oh, Jess? I’m sorry, my office is close. Let’s talk tomorrow. Bye Jessie~”

 

Tiffany quickly ended the call after hearing her friend’s voice over the phone. Having been the good adviser to the blonde, she knows the problem again. Probably, it was about her feelings for that certain tan guy. But as what she had told the latter, her office is close and won’t entertain any problem at the moment.

 

“Fany? Isn’t that Jessica?” asked Taeyeon, after hearing her partner’s words. She handed her a glass of apple juice and some magazines to read as they wait for Yoong to arrive. Mrs. Im is in the kitchen, cooking for their dinner.

 

“Yup. Might be, about our friend Yul again.” Fany sigh.

 

“Really? how ironic. Back then, she wasn’t aware of it… until she got ignore a lot of times.” Taeyeon chuckles, of the fact.

 

“Right. aish! Should I put an office in the University now?”

 

Taeyeon scooted closer to her girlfriend. “I don’t think it’s necessary. You have your own office in their hearts now.”

 

“Tch… or should I just ask money now? Hahahaha…. “ Fany suddenly evilly laugh in her own, causing Taeyeon to look at her weirdly.

 

“Yah! Fany-ah! What about me? I’m always coming for a help.”

 

Tiffany finally stops on laughing and look at her girlfriend seriously. “You always call me about your problem with hyunnie, babo. It’s not for your own.” She playfully glared.

 

“Aish! It’s still the same.”

Flashback…

 

Seohyun and Yul arrive earlier than they expected. They’re an hour early for the practice choir but instead of going there together, Yul wants to focus on his Model Search first before the choir practice.

 

After parting ways, Seohyun receives a text message from Nicole.

 

From Nicole: Hyun, I’m at the theater right now. Want to hang out? Before our choir practice?

 

Reading the text message, she smile and started to walk her way to the theater room. She walk pass a lot of students even for its Saturday, since midterm exams will be in due for next week. Students were busy studying with their respective favorite places in the University.

 

She smile and bows to every professors she’ll walk pass until she reaches the theater room.

 

Slowly, she turned the doorknob and pushed it gently aside.

 

“Nicole?” she called softly.

 

But as soon as she fully entered the room…

 

 

Her folder drops softly in the floor. Next thing she know, Her heart tightens.

 

Her breathing is hardly giving her a way to breath, as if something is preventing for her to breath. She started to comprehend what’s before her. But Her mind refuses to understand it. It’s as if her mind was stock too.

 

She wanted to slap herself to make her realize that before her isn’t just a dream, it’s a reality. But why so hard? Is it because she doesn't like the scene before her? or is it because, it's impossible for it to happen? she wants to get out in this dream so that she could move and approach her best friend.

After a minute of fighting the urge to understand it, she clutch into her chest tightly.

 

Now, she finally convince herself.

 

Before her is Nicole, currently pressing her lips to the doe-eyed guy’s lips. Bad thing is that, the doe-eyed guy isn’t aware—He’s sleeping with his two arms as a pillow in a black piano.

 

She saw Nicole looked back at her, with widened eyes. “Hyun… Uh… I’m sorry… “ she paused and step forward. “I like him, Hyunnie.”

 

She clenches so tight. She knows it already, but what she couldn’t understand is to why her friend has to do it? In front of her. They can just talk about it.

 

She steps two backwards.

 

“Hyunnie… I know you like him too. But… can you give this to me?” those pleading eyes are giving more pain in Seohyun’s heart. Why it has to be like this? Why it should be her best friend? Now she wonders if her ex boyfriend has the same feeling when he make way for Yoong.

 

Seohyun wants to answer but she couldn’t. She simply looks down.

 

“You’re my best friend right?”

 

Best friend.

 

What a nice reason.

 

“Hyun… “

 

She just simply nods and walks away.

Seohyun heaved a sighed upon remembering what happened earlier. Her mind is not functioning at the moment. All she could think is her best friend. Why does it have to be her?

 

“What’s in your mind at the moment seems to be distracting you Miss Seo.”

 

Seohyun perked her ears, hearing the old man’s voice. She turned and accepted the ice tea from the old man.
