One step two steps.

 

Just one more step and he will be able to have a glimpse to her girlfriend.

 

Until…

 

“Yoong?”

 

He stops when a voice was heard not too far. If he wasn’t mistaken, it’s from his best friend.

 

“Hyung? What-what… are you doing here?” he asked, tilting his head to face the tan guy. But before his best friend could respond, he had turned again his head towards the two people not too far too.

 

But unfurtnately, he was met by none.

 

“Yoong? Aren’t you out—“

 

“Yul!”

 

It was the tan guy’s turn this time, to face the familiar voice. “Fany-ah!” he greeted with a smile. “Omo so you guys were here for a shop too?”

 

The doe-eyed guy nods, shrugging off his visions earlier. “We were here to prepare for the trip Hyung, what about you?”

 

“De?” as if caught off guard. The tan guy didn’t expect to get tongue tied. Why is he in the place though? He doesn't know how to answer out of a sudden.

 

“I guess Jessie and you were on a shop too?” Fany teases, even for her sunglasses.

 

“Yah! I’m not with Jessica!” Yul strongly defended his self immediately. The kiss he made earlier was still so fresh, that even mentioning the blonde's name would make him flinches.

 

“Know what Hyung? It’s seems you are lying?” the doe-eyed guy giggles, looking behind his best friend, spotting someone so familiar.

 

Fany and Yul both raised a brow. Slowly, they both looks behind him.

 

“Hey Yul.” He was greeted by smiling angel, much to his disappointment as another company was in her side. He secretly clenches seeing how close the two with their arms are.

 

“So Jessie… you are with Yul and… Yunho Oppa?” Tiffany arches eyebrows up and down, as if telling the latter that she bait two hot gentlemen.

 

“Oh! actually, I’m not with Yul… I’m with Yunho Oppa.” Jessica said with a poker face, but deep inside, she was secretly hoping to see the tan guy’s reaction.

 

“Oh, it seems we are having the same place to shop. Thanks for accompanying my friend, Hyung.” Yoong said.

 

“It’s my pleasure… I always wanted to do this for her.” Yunho shots a sweet smile.

 

Yul scoffs. Tiffany arch a suspicious stare and Jessica could only sweetly smiles to Yunho.

 

“That… just… so… sweet… Hyung.” The young president said, doesn’t know how will he exactly reacts to those words. This is his first time to hear such any words from another guy, let alone, he's the younger girl's brother.

 

Yunho just chuckle a little while rubbing the back of his head, quite awkward. “Uh, guys… I’m… I think since this going to be my chance...” He suddenly turned serious after his cute chuckle.

 

“Hmm?” Jessica arch a brow.

 

Gulp.

 

He looks at Yul and fined it a bit really strange with the way the tan guy is looking at him. Fany is not even escaping her eyes towards him. While the doe-eyed guy is only staring at him innocently.

 

“Uh… I want to… “ to their surprise, Yunho had made a 90 degree bow towards them. “I want to ask permission for courting your friend Jessica.” He said without any hesiatation.

 

Surprised, Fany immediately turned her head towards the tan guy, same goes for Yoong.

 

“Oh! that’s… that’s… actually… good… Uh, Miss Jung is single... and I guess... you are too Hyung?“ but what they expect from their friend seems not happening as the latter only showed emotionless. 

 

Jessica’s heart torn into pieces after hearing it from the tan guy, she all thought the latter will against it. 

 

Yoong and Tiffany both rolled their eyes and just simply smile to the older, as if they can’t do anything.

 

“Omo! Thank You so much.” Yunho brightens after seeing the blonde friend’s reaction. He all thought they will against but he seems wrong.

 

“Uh… guys… I think I’ll go now.” Yul flashes a little smile before he bows a little to the older and left them without anymore words. They are all surprised to the sudden leave of the tan guy, and all they can do is to watch the latter walking away from them.

 

“Dumb.” Jessica mutter’s silently, watching the latter walks away. She bit her lip and recalls the kiss that the tan guy made earlier. Then, what’s for the kiss? She thought.

 

“Oh right, I think we need to go too Yoong.” Fany quickly said, noticing someone from the store eyeing them. She then grabs her brother’s hand and drags him out the place.

 

“I’ll see you this Monday Noona.” The doe-eyed guy immediately waves, being drag by his sister.

 

Yunho and Jessica stood there without any words. Jessica wasn’t sure if she’ll ask it again, but she knows the answer will be the same.

 

“So… Uh… Jess… I’ll see you tomorrow?”

 

Jessica could only nods. The older had made another date activities again for them, it’s to tour her at the park not too far from their apartment.

As much as she wanted to decline him, she can’t. For someone so kind and thoughtful, she can’t disappoint him. And the thought of Yul keeps her so confuse. The kiss, and the early events earlier was far different. If the kiss means the latter loves her back, he would be against with yunho courting her. But when his reaction shows nothing, it gives her much confusions. Does the tan guy likes her back now? or it was just some kind of... Illusions? 

 

“Let’s go?” Yunho flashes a smile, as he held out his hand. Jessica just slightly smiles and leads them out the mall, with still bothered by Yul's reactions.

Taeyeon was about to call his brother when they had already walk away. He saw the scene earlier, but doesn’t even know what they are talking about. So when his brother bowed to them, it eager’s her to know. Fany and Yoong’s reactions to every conversation of them somehow curious her.

 

“What could that be?” she mutters. “And why is Yunho Oppa… was with Jessica at this time?” she wonders.

 

Suddenly her stomach grumbles, making her realize that she’s already been working for 3 hours straight now without taking a break. Fany even makes her lost her mind earlier and it's not helping.

 

"Miss Seo? i think you can have your break now." a girl in her age said, along with a sincere smile. She smile as a response and nods.

after her lunch, she immediately went back to her spot in the store and greeted some costumers. It took another 4 hours again before she felt herself being exhaust and she decided to take a break.

 

[food court]

 

"So you are single?"

 

Taeyeon jerked away when her partner whispered to her ear, she literally stared in shock to her. "Uhmm... excuse me?" but it's another girl as she expects.

 

"Oh, I'm sorry... it's Kim Hyoyeo by the way... I'm new too here."

 

Taeyeon nods and resumed to pay a bill for her food. She scanned around to spot any empty tables and luckily there is, in the corner, where it views an acquarium. She drag herself there and took her spot.

 

"Can I?" it was the same girl, and she just nods.

 

Before she could start eating her early dinner, she places the utensils first in the side and looked up to the short girl. "How do you know?"

 

"Well, base from your body language...you seems to be... heart broken?" Hyo said, earning Taeyeon's poker face. "Oh i'm sorry for observing you though. hehe... "

 

Taeyeon heaved a sigh. "Yeah... but i am the one who choose it."

 

"Omo, really? that is so brave!" Hyo exclaimed. "How can--"

 

"Miss Kim, i don't want to talk about it now." she said and started to eat. 

 

"Okay!" Hyo complies and eat silently too.

 

It was a tug to her heart when the word 'heart broken' escape in Hyo's mouth. The wound is still so fresh and for all she cares, she's already missing her girlfriend. She took a glance to her phone and found out that it's almost 4 now. I bet she's in her room. she thought and sighed once again.

 

She resumed her food and finished it all for only 15 minutes.

 

"Wait... you are finish? you eat so little." Hyo worriedly asked.

 

"I need to go to work now... " Taeyeon bows and left.

 

Hyo shook her head in disbelief. For someone so petite, the latter is working so hard. It actually gives her a good impression. "I'll see you around, Miss Seo." she mutters.

[Hwang Mansion]

 

Pecies of tissue paper scattered around in a pink room as a lot of sniffs was heard. After the shopping earlier, Fany immediately throws herself to her bed and burried her self to her mountains of pillows.

 

She's been there for an hour already, crying non-stop. Seeing Taeyeon just pass at her and shows her no emotions was a cut in her heart. As if the latter has done nothing wrong. 

 

"I hate you Tae-tae... " she keeps on mumbling. "But i'm missing you." she keeps on sobbing and sniffing so loud, that her father has been hearing her at his office.

 

Mr. Hwang couldn't take it anymore and climb upstairs.

 

"Fany... will you stop?" he said, while he knocks twice.

 

"GO AWAY!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I hate you so much!!! all of you!!!" Fany screamed.

 

Hearing this, Mr. Hwang can only leave the latter's room and proceeds to his office once again.

 

Fany laid his back to the bed so messy. Until when will she cry like this? without even knowing that her girlfriend is not doing the same thing? "Tae-tae... I miss you so much." she mumbles. As much as she wants to hate her that much, her heart would always find it's way to miss her and she'll end up shrugging the thoughts of her girlfriend broke up with her.

Her heart is still in pain, but she can't help not to be missed her girlfriend.

4:20pm.

 

Glancing to her wrist watch, she escapes a heavy sigh.

 

It was 4 hours straight of touring around Seoul and it exhaust her. She didn’t even notice the time and was taken aback to see how it has been a day for her.

 

With another heavy sighed, she recalled the events earlier...

 

 

Flashback…

 

A wide grin greets the young singer of choral as soon as she exited their apartment--from Yonghwa. The guy in front of her had even put an effort on getting up with a sunglass and a sleeveless underneath along with his jacket. Giving her much uncomfortable was how the latter had purposely took off his jacket.

 

“It’s hot… I’ll just take this off. You know, I think the weather is driving me nuts. I think I will die if this continues? Oh and by the way… the tutor you made for the finals is really helping me a lot. I think I will give you much higher salary now… what do you think, hmm? And I was wondering… if… I can… always see you to have a drink? You decline to my offer the last time, so I’m guessing you’ll be available now after our tutorial?” the toothy guy flashes a wide smile.

 

She flinches. She thought the guy would be so nice basing from their first meeting. As if she's not use to this cocky aura of him, she wonders as where could be that obedient student of her? is this how the latter acts normal if they aren't in school? 

 

“Miss Seo? It’s… okay right?” this time, the guy had pulled off his sunglass and made a wink.

 

She quickly looks away from those stares. No. “Ye-yes… “ she utters, contradicting what’s in her mind. What am I doing? She thought.

 

“Omo! Are you blushing?” and this new student didn't miss her.

 

A lot of blinks were made through her eyes, as she gradually took a lot of deep breaths, keeping her cool. “I am… not.” She said as a matter of fact. She knows she’s red due to the weather not to those wink. 

 

“Oh okay… your cheeks explains.” The guy giggles, earning the younger girl’s much annoyance.

 

Seohyun was about to open to speak again, when her phone rang. She immediately took it off from her shoulder bag and saw who’s calling.

 

Yoongie Oppa calling......

 

“Oh my… I nearly forgot.” She mumbles.

 

To her surprise, the guy grabs her phone and turned it off immediately, before she could answers it. “YAH! give me back my phone!” she acclaimed.

 

“No… I think this device will be a disturbance for you, let’s get inside now.” Grabbing his tutor’s hand, he immediately drags her inside at his car and took the driver seat.

 

“Mr. Jung… if I’m not mistaken—“

 

“I’m sorry Miss Seo… I am paying you here.” the stares, it give the younger girl a threat. As if telling her to behave, because he is her boss.

 

Taken aback, Seohyun nearly wanted to explode. That was the most irritated face from her student. But she keep her cool and didn't respond.

 

Hearing no response, Yonghwa shot a glance to the younger and find her glaring at him. He chuckles and winks again before he started the engine and drives off.

“So… tell me where are we heading to first?” Yonghwa asked, focusing to his drive while the younger is reading a nursing book.

 

Hearing no response again, he snaps the book away from the latter and throws it at the passenger seat, earning Seohyun’s scoffs towards him.

 

“I’m paying for you… pay attention to what I am saying here.” Yonghwa once again said.

 

Seohyun could only grit her teeth and clenches tightly. She’s getting pissed every seconds she's with him, but she needs to hold it in for the sake of her salary. The guypromised her to give an advance payment before the finals, and she badly needs it much to the anger building inside her.

 

Joohyun, stay calm. He's just irratating you. Seohyun thought to her mind over and over again.

 

Yonghwa giggles. “You know what, your so cute when you are like that.” she commented. "And those cheeks... kyaaa... i like them.

 

The younger looked out over the window, avoiding his every strikes. “And… I think I like you.”

 

“I have a boyfriend if you may want to know.” Seohyun immediately replied, realizing where could those words lead to.

 

“Who cares?”

 

Seohyun was taken aback. This is the first she had encounter such a guy like him. She took a deep breath and turned to face him again. “You’re not like others out there, right? Playboy?”

 

“Well, if you may want to know too, I am.” He beams, flashing a smile. "And I'm willing to change, just for you." He adds. Seohyun could only look away again. She was getting more piss now.

 

“Anyway, I’m sorry about that. I’m really a straightforward guy… so if I have something in mind. I will say them.” Yonghwa giggles, giving more the younger an uncomfortable company.

 

Seohyun just stayed silent until their ride was over.

They stops by every Seoul’s tourist spot here and there; from han river to every parks and malls.

“Are you thirsty? I’m seriously now!” Yonghwa was scanning around his place, hoping to spot any good store while they stop in one of the malls in Seoul.

 

“I am not. Just go buy… I’ll just wait here.” Seohyun simply said, quite tired already. The trip was fun but unfurtanately, she can’t. The guy has been all good from their trips, trying to erase the uneasiness from her, but she can’t cave in for some reason. The early thoughts were still a mark for her and don’t want the latter to give a chance.

 

“okay… “ Yonghwa left to enter a grocery store not too far, leaving the younger alone.

 

As soon as the latter left her, Seohyun could no longer take and rummage through her shoulder bag. She was eager now to call her boyfriend and wanted to explain.

 

But before she could jumps in joy to finally have a call…

 

/tot-tot-tot…

 

Her phone suddenly went off. “Aish!!!” she hissed. “Noooo… I think Yoong is so mad now!!!” she whined, punching the phone like it will open again. She knows she needed to explain such a valid reason once she got home.

 

“I’m so doomed now!!! Come on work!!!” she keeps on shaking the phone hoping to see it light on, but to no avail, she groans in frustration and ruffled her.

 

“Tch, what am I going to do?” she wails helplessly, like there’s no tomorrow.

 

Until she saw Yonghwa not leaving the grocery store yet, she decided to approach the latter only to stop in front of the store, when the guy had already giving her motions to wait outside.

 

She keeps on sighing in disbelief to herself the entire time. if it wasn’t for this offer from this toothy guy, she was suppose to be enjoying her day with the doe-eyed guy at home, not to be pissed the entire time.

 

Sigh.

“Here.” Not long after, Yonghwa had come out with a bottle of water. The younger was about to decline when the latter had grab her hand and make her hold it. She can only say ‘thank you’ before they left.
