Confusions

 

A smiling face doesn't always mean a smiling heart.

His Two arms finally made it’s way to younger girl’s arm, bringing her closely for a tight embrace. His tears drops once more and a smile plastered in his face. All he could feel at the moment is happiness. He is jumping in happiness. How is it possible?

 

Just a moment there, he heard the most beautiful words coming from his beautiful angel. Three words that meant everything for him.

 

He buried his face to her long black hair, smelling the scent that he misses to came in contact in him. There’s no doubt his going to live on this.

 

“Yoong?”

 

He smiles hearing that voice from her. “I’m happy.” He whispered.

 

“But wait… “ His enjoyment suddenly was cut when Seohyun pushed him a little to met their eyes.

 

“Why?”

 

“Uh… isn’t it… I mean uhmm… “ Seohyun couldn’t open to speak, doesn’t know how to ask it. She stared at those doe-eyes bewildered.

 

Another smile forms in his lips, slowly, he pulled the younger girl again to press their bod,y still locking their gazes. “Joohyun-ssi… do you mean, you want to be sure? That I’m still in love with you?” He asked in confirmation. 

 

Seohyun didn't respond and just hug him.

 

 “You meant everything for me. No need to feel confused with my actions. Your friend? There’s nothing on her.” Yoong whispered. “I… L-O-V-E… YOU!” he adds.

 

Seohyun can’t hide her happiness. Finally, after like hell of pain. She had blurted those words. it’s as if she’s finally free now.

 

After hearing those words, she flutters and she could feel her heart beats unusually again. Her breathing is no longer giving her hard. Her nerves finally calmed.

 

She nods and buried her face to the doe-eyed’s broad shoulders. She’s melting every second they spend for each other in this Tuesday morning.

 

“Seo Joohyun?” Yoong called again after realizing that she’s not responding.

 

“Hmm?”

 

“Will you be my girlfriend?” Yoong whispered once again.

 

The younger pulled away from the hug and glares to him. “Do you need to ask that?” she asked.

 

“De?” puzzled, Yoong wasn’t sure if the younger is just kidding or it indicates that they are already a couple even for not confirming it from her.

 

“You know, you’re so brilliant with other things, but in this kind of situation… you get nothing.” Seohyun snickered.

 

“So… “

 

“Don’t act like you are innocent Yoong.” Seohyun said angrily.

 

Taken aback, Yoong almost let go of the younger girl’s waist. “Yah! I just want to confirm. I think you really don’t love Me.” he pouted and glared at her seriously.

 

“Yeah I really don’t.” The younger quickly un-wrapped her arms and pushed away the doe-eyed guy but before she could grab her things, Yoong had pulled her by her wrist.

 

“You really don’t?” Yoong asked.

 

“I said it already.” Seohyun abruptly let go of her hand and resumed to gather her things.

 

Yoong wasn’t sure if it’s serious or not, so he blocks the younger just when she was about to climbed down the stage. “You confessed, How could that—“

 

“You forced me.” Seohyun said firmly, boiling in anger that the doe-eyed guy still so childish even for she’s already so serious earlier.

 

“Aish! Come here.” Yoong reaches for her hand but the younger snaps it away. He was stunned.

 

“I wished I just didn’t blurt those words.” Seohyun attempted to walk pass but she was stopped by her shoulders.

 

“So you love me?” Yoong grins.

 

Rolling her eyes out of annoyance, Seohyun put down her belongings and playfully shake the doe-eyed guy’s head. “Yoong wake up. I just told you.” She said until she stops shaking the latter’s head.

 

“But I want to hear it again? Please?” Yoong pleaded with his aegyo.

 

Glancing on her wrist watch, Seohyun patted the doe-eyed guy’s shoulders before she gathered her things again and walk pass to exit the room, ignoring those pleading aegyo. Yoong followed her behind.

 

“Yah~ just once.”

 

“We’ll be late, don’t you know that?”

 

“But please… “

 

“Once is enough Yoong.”

 

“But—“

 

Yoong bumps into Seohyun’s back when the latter stops in her tracks. Curious, he lifted his head to meet Nicole with her two hands in her waist.

 

Mad.

 

“I’ll go ahead.” Seohyun walked passed to Nicole, leaving Yoong with her.

 

Flabegastered, Yoong immediately followed but Nicole pushed him aside. “Yah! What’s your problem?” He asked.

 

“Oppa. Why do you want to cancel our tutorials?” Nicole asked, after hearing it from Yul.

 

Yoong just walk pass again but Nicole blocks him. “I will not leave if you won’t tell Me.” she dramatically cried in front again.

 

“Omo. Ni-Nicole… yah! You don’t need to cry. Okay, I'm sorry.” Yoong was about to reach for the latter’s hand when someone had snaps his hand away.

 

Nicole and Yoong looked up to see Seohyun glaring at them. Without anymore words, Seohyun drags her boyfriend away from Nicole, leaving the mushroomed girl dumfounded.

Two cups of coffee and two pieces of cake.

 

Yul can only stared at those things in his table. He’s in their usual place at the cafeteria. His exam will start in an hour but he’s waiting for that blonde to come talk with him. He wants to talk it clearly with this blonde. To apologize again—probably. But there’s another thing he want to talk.

 

10:36am.

 

Sighed. He’s been waiting for an hour already and yet, he can’t still spot the blonde. Another minute passed and finally a text message was sent from Jessica…

 

I’m on my way; My Prof had a lot of discussions earlier. I’m sorry.

 

He smiled with the message and put the device back to his table. The coffee was already cold, so he called for a staff to replace it with a juice and fresh baked cake again.

 

“Aigoo… “he escaped a sighed again as he waited patiently.

 

Suddenly, his phone rang and a hyper voice of his best friend greeted him. “Yah! what’s your problem?”

 

[Hyung, just want to ask a favor?]

 

“Favor? For, what?”

 

[Will you accompany Hyunnie in our choir practice later? I won’t be around this afternoon.]

 

“Oh! sure.”

 

[But, I have another favor]

 

“What is it?”

 

[KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF FROM HER]

 

Yul literally distanced his ear from the phone and answers the same… “YAH WHY WOULD I?”

 

[Coz… Uhmm… we are now. You know!]

 

“Eh?”

 

Tot-tot-tot.

 

Yul chuckle in disbelief, he shook his head and places back his phone to his table. He suddenly realized the meaning of his best friend’s hyper voice—Seohyun and he might be a couple now. For some reason, he felt a little sad knowing about it but on the other side of his heart, he’s happy for the younger girl. He smiles unconsciously after hearing it from his best friend.

 

10:40am.

 

He looks around, nothing.

 

Pulling out a book, he flipped them and the bookmark again reminds him of the younger girl. He once again asked his self if he had already let go of this angel who captured his heart. But only two names would appear in his heart—Jessica and Seohyun.

 

“Damn this.” He mutters.

 

“What’s wrong?” finally the voice that he waited for quite some time had arrived as he looked up. “You look… “

 

“Nothing. Just quite tired… anyway, uh about last night?”

 

“Oh, no need to bother about that. It’s okay. I understand.”

 

Yul furrowed his eyebrows. The blonde in front of him is happy and smiling from ear to ear. As if nothing happened? Or it’s just a cover?

 

“You know… “

 

“If you are just going to ask about my feelings. Yup, I was indeed hurt, but like you always advice me… Love isn’t to be pushed to make the other love you back, right?” Jessica cut off. She reaches for the juice and gulp once after she flashes a smile. “Tomorrow will be a big day for the University. Don’t bother this anymore.” She said.

 

Yul can only smile a little and took his own juice too. “Okay, I won’t… at the moment.” he said seriously. He really need time to sort out his current feelings for the two girls who captured him.

 

Nodding, Jessica patted his friend’s hand. “Let’s just work together. Our day will be long for final rehearsal.” She said as a matter of fact.

 

“Do you want to eat?” he asked, motioning the cake on the side. “I baked that.”

 

“You seriously haven’t change.” Jessica commented, before she took a bite of the piece of cake on the side.

 

“I am… oh by the way.. After the model Search, we’ll be going for Italy for the competition, you want to join?”

 

“Italy?” surprised, Jessica was nearly choked with her cake. “Is this, next week?”

 

“Yup, basically—“

 

“Yul-ssi!” suddenly Jinwoon interrupted them, approaching with seems to be jackets. Yul and Jessica immediately looked up to greet the eye-smiled guy.

 

“Oh, what we have there, Jinwoon-ssi?” asked Yul, noticing the jackets in his hand.

 

“Here… for you. It’s our jackets for all choral members.” Jinwoon explained. The jacket is printed with every member’s surname at the back, and a name vertically was printed in front. “This is for Joohyun-ssi too. Can you hand it for her?” for girls, the color is sky blue while for the boys, it’s black and white.

 

“Why me?”

 

“Uh, since you’ll have rehearsal with her after her exam.” For some reason, Yul can see Jinwoon is a bit shy after handing the jacket for Seohyun.

 

“Hmm… what about for Yoong?” Jessica joins too.

 

“Oh, I’ll just hand it to him.” Jinwoon said with a bow. “I’ll see you later in our practice Hyung.” He added and left.

 

Following him, Yul can’t put any word to describe. He’s just too really observant that the boy’s face went serious when Jessica asked about his best friend.

 

“Yah!” Jessica nudges.

 

“Jess… tell me… is Jinwoon like that?” he retracted back his attention and asked the blonde almost immediately.

 

Arching her eyebrows, Jessica knows that stare. “You mean...”
