Yoong's POV

 

 

Crriiiinggg~ Criiinggg~

 

My eyes fluttered open hearing such loud voice just beside. I groan and timidly reach for that loud noise. 

 

Crriii-

 

"Don't disturb me please~" as I mumble, I successfully stopped it and it gives me a relief as I went back to my sleep, lying into the bed helplessly. Yeah, so tired from yesterday's event. Probably, the best night I had encountered. 

 

Beep~ Beep~ Beep~

 

Dmn. Just before I could have my sleep again? aish!

 

Sigh.

 

I groan once again and just pulled for a pillow beside me, pretending that I'm not hearing anything.

 

Beep~ Beep~ Beep~

 

Ugh!!!

 

But the more I won't reach for my phone, the more it pisses me off. It keeps on ringing like there's no tomorrow. So I end up getting up and really doesn't care who's in the line as I...

 

"YAH! I'M SLEEPING!!! FOR CHRIST SAKE!"

 

I shouted and I was only replied with...

I frowned hearing my fiancé’s voice. "Aigoo, I thought someone just really don't like to give me a rest. Uhmm, Baby~ I'm sorry... and Thank You" I blushes out of embarrassment. I almost forgot. Today is my birthday. 

 

Sigh.

 

I heard her giggle over the phone and answered me at the same time. [It's also your sister's wedding my best man. Are you sure you want to sleep again?]

 

"Uh no-no... of course. I don't forget my sister's wedding. I'm actually up now. Hehe~"

 

[Hmm? are you serious?]

 

"Eh? Of-of course... I am." I sheepishly said.

 

[Then why are you still shirtless?]

 

Before I could answer, I was surprise when I heard my door opens, revealing my fiancé there, already dressed and holding a cake. I alarmed myself and hide myself to my closet behind.

 

"Yah! Im Yoong show yourself!"

 

Her voice got me so shiver as I heard her footsteps getting near in my place. "Fine, I just really woke up. Ugh!!! But can't you blame me? You were there last night too!" I defensively yelled out.

 

But before I could jump again to hide myself, I almost hit the wall behind me when my fiancé showed herself in front, glaring at me.

 

"Hey~" I greeted so embarrassingly while covering my bare chest.

 

Her eyes are sparkling. Yes. Sparkling to hit me again for being so irresponsible with time. "Umm, Good Morning, Baby Hyunnie~" I added as she got closer and closer and I step backward, only to hit the wall.

 

"Baby, I'm really going to bath now~ I tell you. This will be quick. Look, it's still so early either." I pointed to the wall clock behind her and she doesn’t care. She proceeds to show instead the cake with my name on it. How sweet my fiancé. But I know what's inside her mind. That smirk and that silence, I know them too well.

 

"Stop!" So I said and she did. "Umm... ex-excuse me... “I tried to escape from her, but she was persistent and blocked me on time.

 

"You."

 

I gulped, truly can't take her eyes on me. Those prying eyes that is already shaking my entire soul, is like a bomb.

 

"What? Wha... a-about me?" I felt like my world is going to crash if the next words would be worst than I want to expect.

 

She looked up so meaningfully again, not minding how I really don’t like this idea.

 

"Don't you want to blow the candle first?" but she suddenly offered the cake on me, changing her expressions right away with a cute pleading pout.

 

I only did was to... -.-

 

"Hehe, Blow the candle now baby~" She proceeds and showed a lighter to light the candle. I guess, for the past 2 years of us being together, she got the most change from us. The use to be so reserve and shy girl was no longer there. Though bubbly from inside, this girl is becoming more bubbly and literally, such a hyper girl if she's so happy. She's no longer the girl who loves to cry a lot. She became fiercer each day.

And one of the events I had witnessed from how fierce she was, was when she faces both of my mother and Yoojin. It wasn't I expected when she strongly disagreed to what they caused for us. She did a lot of talks with them that took 2 hours for it to finish. After that day, there were no longer any conflicts that happened between me, Yoojin and my mother. Mom doesn't care anymore for whomever I am with. Though she wasn't talking to us until now, I think it was much better to know that she had accepted the engagement between me and Hyun. I guess, one of the reason was how freaking busy she is right now with business. 

 

"Baby? Are you okay?" Hyun snapped me out from reality, patting my cheeks in my left.

 

"I'm okay. Just thinking about something" I said and brought her cake under my chin, then close my eyes to wish.

 

"Just like the last time?" Hyun whispered, earning my smile as I did wish...

Then blow the candle right after. I opened my eyes back and I was greeted by my fiancé’s soft kiss on my cheeks. She is smiling so happily at me, that would means a lot to me.

 

"I think you need to bath now, baby~" she then pushed me to my shower.

 

"Ugh, fine." I said and complied. "But wait... " Just when I reach the shower, I stopped her from closing the door.

 

"Hmm?"

 

"Umm... I want to say something about Taemin."

 

"Let's talk about him later, go shower first baby~" I got nothing to protest anymore as she pushed me gently a little and then close the door expectantly. I smiled and proceed to have my shower already.

 

"Oh wait Hyun! You look so gorgeous with your dress!" I shouted just before I could really start showering.

Normal POV

 

Seohyun sat down and set her fiance's cake in Yoong's bed, wandering the room right instantly. Her smiles can't be stopped like as always, because of the things inside her fiancé’s room that would reminisce her over the past years they've been through.

 

The picture frames being placed in both sides of his night stands are few of the memories she and him had shared back in Cambridge and Italy. The sunset they shared, with them holding hands in the picture came from their visit in Milan. The two behind the Italy picture were their sweet kisses they shared while celebrating their 3rd year anniversary.

 

Skipping the night stand in front, she proceeds to the 2nd one in her left. Her undying smile continues as she remember the first picture that catches her; it was their picture together in an intership wearing bright smiles. Moving on behind the picture frame, two picture frames greeted her again. It was a group picture from their summer break with their friends together with Yoojin and Taemin.

 

However, as her eyes landed to Yoojin. The smile she carried for a while disappears. "It's been a while Yoojin. I know you are happy up there. Thank you for the one year you had spent with us." she mutters and put a small smile right after, having caught by Taemin's smile in the picture.

 

This time, she proceeds to a brown board in the wall that has a lot of letters being posted. She giggles; once again reminded by all of the letters she send for him and at the same time, she herself had the same board in her room.

 

"Yoong! What about Taemin?" She called out still eyes in the board.

 

Yoong showed himself wet while wearing a bathrobe. "About him... Uhmm, I was wondering if we could... adopt him." He asked, stopped beside his fiancé.

 

The younger tilted her head, not surprised. "You really think so we could? He still has his grandmother and an uncle, currently watching over him."

 

"Yeah I know, but honestly, it wasn't only my decision. It's his uncle. Well I guess it's because he had his own family that he couldn't look after him. While, His grandma is apparently sick." Yoong explained.

 

And Hyun nodded. "I see. So... you really want to?"

 

"You. I'm asking you. Do you like to adopt him too?" 

 

Seohyun thought for a moment then just smiled warmly. "I'd like to."

 

"I knew it. Don't worry; He will get use with you." Yoong assured. After the death of Yoojin, Taemin has been spending time with him for a month now, surely giving him much happiness.

 

"Well, I think he should." Seohyun cheekily said.

 

Yoong, Hyun~ Are you guys dressed? The wedding will start in 30 minutes~

 

Yoong was about to replied when they heard a voice outside, quickly stopping him. Seohyun made a rising eyebrow, as if telling him to get dress already. He doesn't need to be scolded anymore and dashes inside the changing room.

 

"Yoong, hurry!" Seohyun chuckles, aware from the panic from her fiancé’s question.

 

"Yeah yeah, I'm doing my best~"

 

"That's for staying up late with your best friend~" Seohyun giggles, teasing him while she sat back in the bed, crossing her legs as she waits.

 

"Aish!"

 

"How many times I told you, right? Ignore him." She added.

 

"Look who's talking! Ugh!!! Wait baby, wich among of these tuxedos is the right one?"

 

"That's not my problem anymore, baby." She continued to giggle, amused at the weird noises inside the changing room.

 

"Can you help me please? There are a lot of white tuxedos here!"
