Confessions of a Philophobiac
Forbidden Dreamers Review Gallery»Confessions of a Philophobiac Review«
Title (5/5)
It's strong and appropriate and I like the fact that you used the word Philophobiac (I had to read your description for that)
Foreward/Description (10/10)
Like I said, ideal following a title as per above.
Appearance (3/5)
Appropriate but not eye-catching enough.
Plot (13/15)
Because I gave you full marks for the title and description, I will penalize you slightly here based on grounds that the issue of philophobiac wasn't addressed as much as I would have like it to.
Her state of denial wasn't that obvious versus just being afraid to admit that she was in love. I am basing this on the fact that she opened her heart to Luhan pretty quickly and her opinion of her fiance being a bastard was more than justified.
Lastly, I wasn't too fond of the way Kai got her to admit her love by degrading her. A more romantic approach would have been nicer.
But you're an amazing writer and the storyline is really well thought-out.
Originality (14/15)
Arranged marriages are of abundance on AFF but your take on this is well-credited.
Grammer & Spelling (20/20)
Nothing to penalize here.
Flow (9/10)
Very well done in terms of writing.
Characterization (9/10)
Well developed but slight criticism on the topic of philophobia as mentioned above.
Overall Enjoyment (10/10)
It was a great read from start to end. Props for your good writing.
