Wei, who is super confident, is head over heels for Valerie; he has no shame at all. Wei, Valerie, and their class were assigned to make a presentation for biology. Wei decided to step it up a notch and made a presentation all about his feelings towards Valerie and how she deserves everything. She saw the entire thing in class.

Lee Sungjun P.O.V. 

I strutted down the hallways of TOP high school with a small smirk upon my face. I walked the hallways with my two best friends, Minsoo and Wooseok. We were known as the most popular guys of our school. I towered over the people with my height and confidence. I smiled confidently at a group of girls that had been staring at me for a while. 

"Oh my gosh!"

"Did he just smile at us??"

The sounds of their squealing just boosted my ego. 

"Sungjun, we're going to be late for class, stop flirting with girls," Wooseok growled. Wooseok was the only one of our group who hated the popularity we received. He didn't walk around school with his head held high or used his popularity for his own sake. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Wooseok, oh Wooseok, the teachers never care if we're late. Especially the female ones." After speaking, I showed a small smile to my last year's math teacher and she blushed softly. Wooseok nudged me on the shoulder.

"Gross dude, not the teachers," He said while crinkling his nose. I shrugged him off and kept walking. 

"Ha, keep trying, Wooseok. Sungjun will flirt with any female and every female will fall for him," Minsoo stated while tightening his tie. His preppy look gave off a good boy vibe, but he was still popular with being class president and the leader of almost every club. Girls also liked smart, good-looking, guys. I smiled widely at the girls in the hallways and saw them immediately chatter to their friends. 

"Girls are just too cute, and easy," I stated with a wide grin on my face. Wooseok scoffed. 

"Every girl? Think again." I raised a brow at him and shook my head.

"What are you trying to say?" I asked with my arms crossed. "Every girl in this school loves me, I only state facts," I stated while high-fiving Minsoo. Wooseok shook his head.

"Really? Then let's get our day started with biology, let's see what fun will happen there." Wooseok walked into our first period biology class before Minsoo and I could. We exchanged glances of confusion before walking in. The class was filled, as there was only 1 minute left 'til the bell rang for first period.

"Well, well, well, it looks like you three decided to show up today," Ms. Jang said. I gave her my signature smile and nodded.

"Yeah, I mean, biology is my favorite class, along with having my favorite teacher," I added for extra brownie points. She swept a loose hair behind her ear and blushed.

"Oh well, ok then, take a seat," She shyly spoke while not making eye contact. I glanced at the other girls in the class while they were just admiring my confidence.

My eyes then fell onto a girl who had a stoic expression on her face. Her long brown hair was tied into two buns on each side of her head. She was looking down at the homework that hadn't even been assigned yet and was working on it early. I noticed the way she bit her lip when she focused and how she tuned everything out when she was in her zone. I knew Minsoo and her are fighting for the title as valedictorian, but I couldn't help but admire how smart she was.

I smirked and took a seat next to her, like I have been doing the whole year. 

"Hi, Woo Valerie," I greeted, giving her my best smile. She took a glance at me and waved half-heartedly. 

"Hi," She stated shortly before returning to digging into her backpack to get our her notebook. I couldn't help but keep staring at her during the lesson. She was just too damn pretty. I noticed how she kept glancing over at me with an angry expression since she noticed my gaze. I chuckled slightly.

"You know, you look very pretty today," I said when the teacher stopped speaking and let us have our work time. She rolled her eyes.

"Ok," She said curtly. I felt my heart race with her short answers and attitude. I had no idea why, but  I felt attracted to her in so many ways. 

"Aw, why the short answers?" I asked with a cute pout on my face. She ignored me for a few seconds before glancing over at me.

"I don't know why, maybe because you do this every day and announce your love to me every day," She stated before turning her head back to her work. I chuckled out loud at her cuteness. Her spunk and confidence was what drove me crazy. I was about to speak until the teacher started to speak.

"Ok class, it is nearing our spring break, so therefore are have a project to raise all of your guys' grades." I heard the entire class groan. "It will be a presentation about your favorite thing in biology and it will be about a 4-5 minutes presentation, so it shouldn't be as hard as the other presentations we did before." She handed out a sheet of paper with all the requirements on it. This just made the class even angrier about the project. I just stuffed the paper in my backpack, not paying much attention to it. 

I looked over at Valerie and realized she was already making notes for it. I raised a brow. 

"What are you doing?" I asked, trying to both her. She didn't take her gaze off of her computer screen.

"I'm starting on the project." Her gaze was only on the screen in front of her, and that bothered me. 

"Woo Valerie," I whined, trying to mess up her concentration. I could tell it was working by furrowing of her eye brows. I smiled slightly. She didn't respond. "Valerie!" I complained once more while putting my face in front of her screen. She tried to ignore me by moving her laptop. I smirked at my plan that was obviously working. "Val-"

"Shouldn't you be working on the project? It's due next week." She tried to dodge the subject of my annoying her. I smirked.

"Val-"

"Don't call me that." She glared at me. 

"Val, we all know that I don't do school work, school work does me," I stated while smoothing out my uniform. She raised a brow.

"That doesn't make any sense, but coming from an idiot like you, maybe it does," She harshly said with a menacing look on her pretty face. "If you think I'm going to fall for someone as stupid as you, think again, or actually, you should start thinking in general." She whipped her head back to the screen. A smirk was placed on my face, but I could feel my heart shattering. My heart felt almost, sad, it was so weird! It's like someone was holding my heart and clutching it tightly. 

I never felt this way before and leaned back in my chair to make the pain go away. What the hell? I scratched my head. I'll have to ask Wooseok and Minsoo after school. 

The end of the day rolled around after the 5 periods were had after biology. We all went over to Wooseok's house to hang out, since his house was the biggest, but mine was the coolest. The thoughts I had from biology were still ringing in my head. What did it mean for my heart to feel like this? It's like, my heart was hurting, not happy like it usually is. 

"Hey, dude, is something wrong?" Minsoo asked me once we entered Wooseok's house. I sighed. They both gasped before I could speak.

"Did you just sigh?" Wooseok asked frantically, something he never was. 

"Yeah, ok, Sungjun, I'm trying not to freak out, what's wrong?" Minsoo asked, pulling me on the couch while Wooseok shut the front door. I sighed again while their eyes widened.

"Ok, I don't know what's wrong, but." I couldn't finish my sentence. "But, during biology, Valerie kinda yelled at me, and it made my heart sorta... hurt, kinda?" I spoke with a questionable tone. Wooseok and Minsoo stared at each other with a knowing gaze, something I always had. "Ok guys, this is weird! I don't even feel like myself right now." I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed, once again. Wooseok smiled, kind of creepily.

"Well, well, Sungjun, I think you may like Valerie," Wooseok stated with a smile. Minsoo nudged him.

"Bro, go easy, he's never felt this before!" Minsoo argued while I was still confused

"Like her? I like all girls!" I exclaimed, feeling confident in my skills again. Wooseok pulled me down.

"No, I mean you actually want to be with her, like a lot," Wooseok explained. I scoffed and whipped my gelled hair to the side.

"What? No! I love being single!" I stated with fake confidence. For some reason, I didn't believe my words this time. Wooseok and Minsoo gave me a look. I frowned. "Ok, tell me what I have to do," I said while crossing my arms. Minsoo smiled widely while Wooseok just smirked, something I usually did. 

"WELL, there's that project coming up," Minsoo started. I coughed.

"Ok, so?" 

"The project is to present a presentation about your favorite thing in biology, right?" Wooseok stated again. I yawned.

"Yeah..."

The two glanced at each other, and at that moment, I smiled and understood their gazes. 

The next week when the project was due, I was fired up and ready to present my presentation.

"Dude, there is no way she's not going to like this." Wooseok knuckle-touched me and I returned it.

"Yeah, she's going to love me, like everyone else," I said with a wide smile, brushing off my shoulders while at it. Minsoo laughed at my antics. 

Soon, the presentations started. I was the last to go. 

"Lee Sungjun, are you ready?" Ms. Jang asked with a slight blush. I nodded confidently. 

"I was born ready," I said with a smirk. I pulled up my project on the main projector. I locked eyes with Valerie, who just looked away immediately at my gaze. You so got this. 

I cleared my throat and switched to the slide after my title slide. I saw Valerie's expression change as she saw her face on my power point.

"Well, the topic of this presentation is our favorite thing in biology, so, my favorite thing about biology is Woo Valerie." Everyone in the room gasped and looked around. 

"Quiet class," Ms. Jang shushed, but still looked uncertain. I looked into Valerie's eyes and she mouthed 'what are you doing?' I just smiled and continued on.

"Valerie is the girl who keeps me happy first period, and the only reason why I attend first period the most. If Valerie wasn't here, I would probably just cut class to be honest. She makes me laugh more than the average person and is the only one who can make me feel emotions I haven't even felt before." I gazed into her eyes as I said this and I saw her keep her gaze on mine.

I didn't realize I was staring at her until the whole class looked back, but she didn't flinch.

"I love the two buns that are glued to the side of her head and her attitude I will never get bored of. I honor her intelligence and the way she sticks to her morals." I saw her blush slightly and turn her head to look at her desk. I waited until she looked up and met my gaze and said the number one thing on my mind. "I really like you, Woo Valerie." The whole room turned silent and I knew they were itching to tell someone, but I didn't care. "You mean everything to me and when you told me off a week ago, I hated myself, for the first time ever. My heart hurt and I didn't feel like myself. You make me feel so many emotions, and I can't be happy if you hate me." Her gaze softened at my words and I knew I won her over. I smiled widely.

"Thank you," I finished while walking back to my seat next to Valerie. I heard loud clapping and the sound of girls whispering to their friends and boys whooping. I took my seat next to Valerie and still had a wide smile on my face. I saw her smile slightly and look over at me. 

"So your ego didn't get in the way of your presentation?" She teased. I shook my head while laughing.

"My ego is the reason why I did that." I spoke honestly. She smiled softly played with her hair. "Did you like it?" I asked. I knew she loved it, but I wanted to hear her say it once. She turned her head towards me and she smiled.

"I loved it," She confessed with a small blush. 

After that, I knew that my confidence wasn't that bad of a thing after all.

Hello! It's been a while! I've had a pretty busy week since spring break is right around the corner for me, so all my teachers are dumping projects, tests, essays, etc on me. 

Spring has also arrived! Honestly, I don't really like spring that much because I'm afraid of bugs, bees, the heat, and a lot of other things about spring. BUT, I love cherry blossoms SAKURA OBSESSION because I LOVE NARUTO they're so pretty! :D
