"Nirvana"

"Hakyeon-hyung," Hyuk called out while the members were all having dinner in the dorms one night.

"Hmm?" Hakyeon's mouth was stuffed with food after a full day of busy schedules.

"Are you going to Wonshik-hyung's concert tomorrow night?"

The rapper immediately turned towards the leader for an answer.

"Sorry, can't," Hakyeon replied immediately without any hesitations. "I've already made plans to meet up with a friend tomorrow."

"Wongeun again?" Taekwoon barged in the conversation.

Hakyeon nodded.

"Didn't you see him like a few days ago or something?" Hongbin commented.

"Yeah but last time was supporting his movie. This time we've decided to catch up with each other."

"Wow, so friends are more important than family now?" Jaehwan shook his head in disapproval.

"It's not like Wonshik needs me there anyways," the leader said. "Right?"

Hakyeon turned towards the rapper, who's been quiet the entire day and barely able to come back to the dorms for dinner since he's been busy with rehearsals for the past week or so.

"Uh, yeah. I don't need you there," Wonshik finally said.

"See? Anyways, let's finish up eating. The food's gone cold," the oldest directed.

Dammit, why'd I say that? Wonshik started to yell at himself in his mind as he finishes the last bit of his rice. Now he really won't come anymore...

Despite having said that he wouldn't want the oldest to show up to his solo concert 'Nirvana', Wonshik actually wanted Hakyeon to come support him. Last year when he had his first solo concert 'Realize', the leader was too busy with his first musical schedule that he couldn't make it. The only thing the older did do was send him messages of support and promoting the concert to the fans. 

Even though I went to support him in his musical last year right after my concert finished ... Wonshik couldn't help but feel a bit of resentment when he thought about it.

At the same time, he also thought back at the time where VIXX LR was having their second album 'Whisper' as well as their first album 'Beautiful Liar'. Both times, Hakyeon was the only one amongst the members who didn't show any actual support by coming to visit their music video filming. 

"What a hyung he is," Wonshik said aloud as he brushed his teeth and getting ready for bed.

"Who are you talking about?" Hakyeon popped up from behind.

"H-hyung!" Wonshik almost choked on his toothpaste.

"Scoot over," Hakyeon nudged to use the sink and started to brush his teeth as well next to the younger. "So, you really don't care if I don't come tomorrow night?"

"..."

"Well?"

"Do what suits you," Wonshik said, still trying to play it cool.

"Okay~ don't regret it later," Hakyeon said in a teasing tone.

Of course Wonshik wants to see the leader at his concert but he's worried that if he expected too much, he'd only get let down as a result. Maybe it's best not to hope for so much?

But that being said, Wonshik couldn't help thinking about it all night long. What if Hakyeon really doesn't come to his concert? Is Wongeun really more important than Kim Wonshik? 

Ugh, forget it! I need sleep! 

The next day, Wonshik was busy preparing and doing some last minute rehearsals before his concert. He had so much to do and he had to personally do a double-check throughout the stage to make sure that everything goes according to plan. As he did, he kept asking the staff if any of his VIXX members were going to come. He can't help it, he was curious. He went back and forth between the changing room, the stage and then even peeked outside a few times to see if Hakyeon was going to come or not.

[Good luck with the concert!] Jaehwan sent him a message that afternoon.

Along with Jaehwan, the other members all sent him a good luck message except for one person...

Hakyeon didn't say anything at all during the day and left immediately in the morning to meet up with Wongeun. He didn't even see Wonshik off before he left the dorms.

Seriously, are you really going to be this way?! Wonshik scratched his head frantically in dismay as he finished putting on his outfits for the concert.

After a few more worries, Wonshik decided that it was time to give up and simply focus on giving a good performance. And he did. 

Throughout the concert, he had a lot of fun singing the songs he wrote and produced. He even introduced his album to the fans who attended that night to the best of his abilities as he stood alone on the stage without any of s by his side.

"Thanks for everyone who came tonight. Are you all having fun?" Wonshik shouted through the mic with excitement and trying to raise the mood up inside of the dark concert venue.

The fans screamed loudly.

Yes, everyone was indeed having lots of fun and hyping up to each and every single one of the rapper's songs. Just then, Wonshik looked up on the second floor. 

Huh? He finally noticed.

Though it was dark, there was one person who sat in the front row of the balcony area who caught Wonshik's eyes. 

It can't be... he said he wouldn't come... Wonshik almost doubted his eyes.

Even in the dark, Wonshik could recognize that figure right away. It was definitely Hakyeon.

Throughout the rest of the concert, Wonshik couldn't take his eyes off of Hakyeon who cheered loudly at the younger's performance. Though Wonshik was still confused about the situation, he couldn't help but rejoice inside knowing that Hakyeon was there to support him after all.

"Congrats!" Hakyeon shouted as soon as Wonshik entered the waiting room once the concert had ended.

"H-hyung... I thought you said you weren't coming," Wonshik was still in disbelief. "What about your plans?"

"I saw Wongeun this morning already and had lunch with him. I never said what time I'd be meeting him or when we'd be finish, did I?" Hakyeon smirked. "Disappointed to see me here after all?"

"N-no!" Wonshik immediately shouted out. He was more than happy to see that Hakyeon actually made it to his concert.

Just then, Hakyeon leaned in to whisper something to Wonshik's ears.

"You're secretly glad that I'm here aren't you? Don't think I didn't notice that you were sulking since last night when you thought I really wasn't going to come," Hakyeon teased.

Wonshik blushed from embarrassment as he was completely caught by the older. Despite having said this and that, Wonshik was really too glad to see Hakyeon show up. After all, Hakyeon is all he needs.
