"Gashina Syndrome"

”Hey guys, I think I’m sick,” the rapper laid there on the sofa to rest.

”I think I am too,” Jaehwan nodded and flopped into the smaller couch next to the rapper.

”So we’re all getting sick?” Hongbin commented while his face was flushed red. 

“I think something is wrong with my heart. I should go back to the hospital tomorrow for a check up,” Taekwoon clenched his heart tightly.

”We aren’t sick. You guys are exaggerating,” Hyuk tried to remain calm as he broke an obvious sweat from the side. 

The five of them laid in bed, the sofa and whatnot the entire day after their fanmeeting was over. All of them felt rather strange after yesterday night. Was it became they had too much fun that they were experiencing an adrenaline? 

“What’s happening to us?” Taekwoon asked as the rest of them shrugged. 

“My heart won’t stop beating so fast since last night... do you think I’ll die?” Jaehwan asked ridiculously.

”If you die, we’ll all die together at this point,” Hongbin answered honestly. 

“So, let’s sum up everything that we’re experiencing after last night. Rapid heartbeat, nervous stomach, cold sweats and also flushed body heat from time to time?” Hyuk listed as if he was some kind of doctor.

The rest of the nodded. That was what they were all experiencing and there was no exceptions either.

”As I thought, I should go back to the hospital for a check,” the older of the two vocalist said.

”Take me with you hyung,” Jaehwan raised his hands.

”Me too,” both the 93 liners said.

Just then, the television played a music video on the screen, making them jolt in unison. Their hearts raced even faster as they heard the song from the television.

It was Sunmi’s Gashina.

”Turn it off!” Wonshik demanded in alarm as Hyuk rushed to the television in a dashing motion towards the remote control.

Afterthe television was off, they all sighed in relief. Their hearts settled down just a bit but it was obvious what the cause of their illness were. It was the song. 

Gashina. 

But it wasn’t because they’re a fan of the senior singer but it’s because of the choreography. And it wasn’t because of the original artist who did the dance but the true culprit... the one who wasn’t in the dorms at the moment.

”Hakyeon-hyung needs to take responsibility,” Jaehwan said. “It’s his fault we’re like this.”

”Yeah, why did he do that and in front of so many Starlights?” Hongbin sighed.

”I blame the music directors. During the rehearsal, Hakyeon-hyung didn’t dance to Gashina at all but they suddenly played it during the actual thing!” Wonshik raised his voice in annoyance. “I wasn’t mentally prepared!”

”Same!” Jaehwan couldn’t agree anymore with the rapper.

”They should have given us a warning...” Taekwoon said with a rather vengeful gaze. 

The five of them, along with the many Starlights last night during the fanmeeting was experiencing quite an attack from the oldest and the leader of VIXX. Rather than a direct attack from NMi, even Hakyeon as himself was lethally y. 

They recalled watching the older walk down the stage in a suit, classy and sassy at the same time while the song played in the background. They couldn’t stop watching the large screen at the back of the stage as the leader danced at the center.

The five members will never truly admit it but whenever Hakyeon danced, no matter what kind of dance it was, they would become mesmerized by the older’s flexibility and smooth motions. Hakyeon’s body was alluring and deadly.

It was so bad that the five of them couldn’t stop thinking about what they saw last night.

”I need to ban that song for awhile until my heart readjusts itself,” Hongbin said as he immediately removed the song from his phone.

”Same,” the other members did the exact same thing.

”Don’t turn on the television for awhile okay?” Taekwoon said.

Everyone nodded in agreement. The song was banned and so was television. They had to make sure that they don’t experience another surprise attack out of nowhere. It was bad for their hearts.

Just then, the door opened with the return of their leader.

”What are you guys crowding around the living room for?” Hakyeon asked as he walked in from the front door.

”N-nothing. Welcome back hyung,” Jaehwan stuttered nervously.

”Okay?” Hakyeon raised his eyebrows at the younger’S awkwardness. “I’m going to take a shower and head to bed. You guys don’t stay up too late okay?”

”Goodnight Hakyeon-ah,” Taekwoon waved.

”Night hyung,” The youngers all waved as well.

"왜 예쁜 날 두고 Gashina ~"

The five of them jolt and looked around in full alarm. Who wasn’t it that forgot to turn the song off? 

“Oops, sorry my ringtone,” Hakyeon said. 

“What?!” The members all asked at once.

”I changed it. It’s quite a catchy song so I decided to make it as my ringtone~”

Now, the rest of them has nowhere to escape because knowing how many calls their leader gets in a single day... they’re doomed.

A/N: I've had this idea since VNL when I went. At the beginning when they were all doing the walkway, all the members were staring at Hakyeon's Gashina on the large LED screen. The moment I noticed that, I was like "I have to write this!" So here it is xD
