"His Happy Pill"

Jaehwan sat in his chair and hummed to himself happily. His body was swaying from side to side and he was swinging his legs back and forth.

”Aren’t you happy today?” One of the staffs commented.

”Hehe~” Jaehwan couldn’t hide his excitement. He was too energetic early in the morning that his musical rehearsals went too smoothly.

I can’t wait to go home, he thought to himself as he continued to hum his songs. 

The entire day was great for him and it was all thanks to Hakyeon. 

“So what’s with you being extra bouncy today?” His managers asked as he drove Jaehwan back to the dorms after rehearsals.

”Well~ everyone else is going to be out today ~” Jaehwan said. 

“Huh? I thought Hakyeon is at home though?”

”Exactly! Everyone but Hakyeon-hyung is out for today so...” the vocalist kept throwing hints at his clueless manager. 

“So?”

”I get Hakyeon-hyung all to myself duh!”

”You’re that happy about it?” The manager tilt his head in confusion.

”Yup!”

The time that Jaehwan have been able to spend with Hakyeon grew less and less the past few weeks. Usually he would be the only one visiting the leader’s bedroom or talking to Hakyeon one-on-one. But when the other members didn’t have any other schedules alone, they would steal all of Hakyeon’s attention. To be honest, Jaehwan wasn’t pleased at all. He used to get Hakyeon all to himself as his personal dance instructor since he wasn’t good at dancing. But eventually, Hyuk and Hongbin started to cling onto Hakyeon for private lessons too. Despite their teasing, the two youngest could never leave Hakyeon alone and they knew that the older would spoil them whenever they ask. 

Then there was Kim Wonshik who labels himself as the only one who would play with Hakyeon. What’s with that? Jaehwan asked himself as he knew that he was the one that always played with their leader instead. He and Hakyeon even has a special fist pump that no one else would do. Jaehwan knew for sure he was special when Hakyeon and him decided to have their own friendship fist pumps. 

“Hehe~” he couldn’t help but giggle in happiness just thinking about it but then, there was another obstacle.

Jung Taekwoon. The lifelong friend of Hakyeon who the leader himself gave that nickname to the vocalist. 

Jaehwan pouted just thinking about it. 

Last month when Taekwoon got hospitalized, he kept calling and sending messages to Hakyeon to ask what they were doing or if the leader was able to visit him. Obviously they were all really busy with their overseas schedule that it wasn’t possible. But still, Jaehwan would catch glimpse of Hakyeon talking or sending messages on to phone to Taekwoon. 

Even though the members constantly nag about Hakyeon’s clinginess, they’re the ones always asking for attention instead. Except unlike Jaehwan, they’re more indirect about it. At first, Jaehwan thought about playing hard-to-get with the leader in order to get Hakyeon's attention as well but the more he thought about it, the more he realized he didn't want to be the same as everyone else. Jaehwan wants to be close to Hakyeon but in his own way that none of the other members can imitate. 

After the manager dropped Jaehwan off in front of their dorm, the vocalist rushed into the building with much anticipation. He punched in the password to the door and opened it with delight.

"Hyung! I'm home!' Jaehwan shouted and took off his shoes immediately. He rushed into the living room hoping to see Hakyeon waiting for him in the leader's favorite sofa.

"Welcome back," Hakyeon said.

'I'm ba-" 

Jaehwan stopped.

Hakyeon was waiting in the living room for sure and sitting on the sofa as well. But he wasn't alone.

"Why... I thought everyone was busy today..." Jaehwan noticed someone lying asleep on Hakyeon's lap as the older sat there.

"Hmm?" Hakyeon looked down on his lap trying to understand what Jaehwan was referring to,"Are you talking about Taekwoonie?"

The oldest of the two vocalist was lying asleep on Hakyeon's lap without realizing the deathly glare that was being shot at him from the other vocalist.

"Why is he here?" Jaehwan asked in displeasure and pure jealousy. 

"He wasn't feeling so well so he had to come home early. We told him to go to the hospital for a check up but he was too stubborn and wouldn't go," Hakyeon informed him.

"Then why is he sleeping on your lap hyung? Shouldn't he be resting in his room instead?" 

"He said it was lonely and boring sleeping there so he ended up sleeping here instead."

Jaehwan pouted. 

If only I got sick as well then maybe Hakyeon-hyung would pay more attention to me, he couldn't help but think.

"Jaehwan-ah?" Hakyeon noticed the younger growing quiet and didn't look that great. "Are you okay?"

"No," Jaehwan murmured.

"Come here," Hakyeon patted on the spot on the otherside of him.

Displeased yet still obedient, Jaehwan dragged his feet across the room and sat next to Hakyeon. 

"What's wrong?" Hakyeon caressed the younger's head, worried that even the other vocalist was getting sick.

"It's not fair."

"Hmm?"

"I thought I would finally be able to spend the entire day with you alone yet..." Jaehwan glared at the other vocalist who was still obliviously sleeping on the other side.

"Maybe later when Taekwoon wakes up? We can still spend today together. It's not over yet," Hakyeon tried to make the younger feel better.

"But..."

"Don't worry. I made a promise with you didn't I? That we would spend today together and do whatever you want before the day ends."

"But a part of today was already wasted..." Jaehwan couldn't hide his disappointment and leaned on Hakyeon's shoulder while clinging onto the older's arms as well.

"Don't look so sad, Jaehwan-ah," Hakyeon wrapped his arm around Jaehwan and gently caressed the younger. 

It almost broke Hakyeon's heart as he saw the usual happy vocalist become so sad and disappointed. He didn't really know what to do but he knew he had to make it up to the younger.

"Let's go to my room okay?" Hakyeon suggested as he carefully placed Taekwoon's head away from his lap and putting his friend on the sofa. "Come."

Hakyeon grabbed Jaehwan's hands and pulled him to follow. The two went to his room and Hakyeon could see that Jaehwan was still very sad.

"Don't look like that. You're breaking my heart," Hakyeon told the younger. 

"Hyung..." Jaehwan pouted a bit and held Hakyeon tightly. He buried his face into the leader's small shoulders and wrapped his arms around the other's waist. He really didn't want to let go even for a minute.

"Well, I'm all yours now so what do you want to do?" Hakyeon asked. "We can't do anything if you keep looking so sad..."

"I..."

"Well?"

"I want to stay in hyung's room until tomorrow morning," Jaehwan said.

"And?"

"And do a lot of ... naughty things..." Jaehwan cracked up a smile from his own suggestion.

A little taken back yet still rather happy about it, Hakyeon nodded his head. 

"You can do whatever you want with me. I'm all yours today after all."

"Just today?"

"Well~ I guess every other day."

"No way," Jaehwan gave a peck on the leader's lips. "You're all mine, everyday and forever."

A/N: Honestly it's so hard sometimes to write HaKen because they're like an OTP overload of cuteness and even though I wanted to write a bit of ... I was stuck on how to do it because they're both so 'innocent' in my eyes. Maybe another attemp in the future!
