“Hyung~,” Kai sang, happily plopping into his seat in their homeroom. It was the day after seeing Hyemi  and Kai was as happy as could be. Taemin turned to him curiously wondering why his friend was acting so…strange.

“What?” Taemin asked, looking expectant.

“I’m happy,” Kai said simply, wearing a silly smile. “Something really cool happened yesterday, but I can’t really tell you right now. It’s just super cool and I’m really happy.

Taemin was disappointed that Kai couldn’t tell him what it was, but as long as Kai was happy then he was happy. Still, he really wanted to know what “cool” thing happened the other day—he wanted to be included.

Still, smiling through his disappointment, Taemin said genuinely, “I’m happy you’re happy.”

“I’m happy that you’re happy that I’m happy,” Kai laughed, just being silly now.”

Taemin laughed at Kai’s dork-like manner and playfully, hit the taller’s head.
