“Hyung! I hate this!” Kai yelled, throwing his notebook at the floor is frustration. Taemin looked up curiously from his own homework and stared at Kai’s doing.

“What do you hate?” Taemin asked for a better understanding.

“This Japanese homework!” Kai cried, “Why on earth did I decide to take this class?!”

Taemin chuckled and took Kai’s notebook in his hands, skimming over it. “Well, you say this phrase and then you connect it to this one and that makes the sentence like this,” Taemin said, pointing to the different phrases written in Japanese, but really he had no idea what he was looking at.

Kai shook his head saying, “No, no, no, that’s not how it goes. You have to say this sentence but add ‘no’ when speaking about this—”

“I think you’re doing just fine,” Taemin said, not understanding at all. “You know what to do to and how to do it—you just proved it. Just look at it little by little and you’ll get the hang of it,” he assured, smiling as he went back to working on his math work.

Kai looked at his work and smirked.

He suppose he did know how to do this.
