What the hell is this ?

Looking around briefly to see the teacher grading papers at his desk, Taemin sneakily shifted in his chair so that he was facing Kai, who was very focused on his work and didn’t even notice Taemin looking at him.  Taemin poked Kai’s head with the end of his pencil to get his attention, making Kai look up at him questioningly.

“Do you understand this?” Taemin whispered, clearly distressed from the equations.

Kai nodded, “We were learning this near the end of last year, remember?”

Taemin only shook his head numbly, his brain overloading on numbers. Taemin silently turned around to look at his paper once more before mentally crying over something he didn’t remember learning. If what Kai said was true, then he completely forgot how to do any of this. He didn’t know how to start it.

He slumped in his chair and chewed on his pencil, waiting agonizingly for the class to end.
