“Hey,  Kai?”

Kai looked up from his comic to look at his hyung who looked a little down today. Worried, he climbed onto the couch and wrapped his arms around his best friend. “What’s wrong?”

Taemin shrugged, mumbling, “Nothing really it’s just…I’ll be starting college in a couple weeks and next week is when you start training…”

Kai nodded in understanding. “You’re worried we’ll see less and less of each other and forget each other?”

“Well…yeah,” Taemin confessed, feeling embarrassed. “I know, it’s stupid—we’ll always be best friends. How could we forget each other?”

“Exactly, hyung—we can’t. Sure our lives are about to get busier but we’ll always be together.”

Taemin smiled and leaned his head on the taller’s shoulder. “You’re acting like my hyung now, Kai. Kai hyung…that sounds weird,” Taemin said, scrunching his nose in distaste. He was hyung.

Kai just laughed and poked his hyung’s cheek. “Gosh, you’re so weird, hyung.”
