“Do you think they’ll choose you?” SaeJin asked as she scrubbed the dishes in the sink at her house. She and Kai had made lunch together, finishing up with a quick game of rock paper scissors with the loser having to clean the dishes.

Kai sighed, knowing she was referring to his audition for SM. “I don’t know. I’m supposed to receive the letter sometime this week,” he said.

“They better choose you or I’ll rip them apart with my nails,” she said sadistically, completely serious. They better pick her Kai. They better or there would be major consequences.

Kai chuckled, flipping the page of his magazine, “I think you’re worrying about this more than I am.”

“It’s because you’re not worrying is the reason I’m worrying.”

Kai smiled, walking up behind his girlfriend and kissing her cheek gratefully, whispering, “Don’t worry.”

Even though Kai said not to worry, she still worried. It was a girlfriend thing.
