It was a hot summer day and on the swing set at the local park where two nine year-old boys were sitting and sharing an ice cream cone. They had been playing all morning and it was now well past noon. It was way too hot for their liking and each had just enough money to buy a small bowl of ice cream to share.

The two boys had been exceptionally cute towards the employee and had earned a free topping, their choice being a handful of rainbow sprinkles. And when they came short a dollar, the employee didn’t seem to care much and just shooed them out of the store.

Taemin had dipped in head low and the cold ice cream, giggling when he felt the ice cream touch his nose. Kai laughed when he saw the white mark on his friends face with a pink sprinkle topped on it.

“You look really funny, hyung,” Kay giggled as he took another of the ice cream.

Just then as Kai was chewing the sprinkles in his mouth, Taemin leaned forward and bushed his nose against his friend’s cheek, smearing the ice cream on him.

“And so do you now!” Taemin chirped, gazing proudly at the mess on Kai’s brown cheek.

They finished their ice cream before playing an intense game of Tag.
