Taemin and Kai were hanging out in Taemin’s room, staring at their untouched homework and textbooks on the floor. Kai was on Taemin’s bed and Taemin was sitting on the floor. The time spent silently staring and sitting was unknown but they had gotten to Taemin’s house around five after buying snacks at the convenience store.

“So…,” Kai mumbled, not really knowing what to say.

“We should work,” Taemin said, sounding completely unmotivated.

“Yeah…”

And so the silence continued for another seven minutes.

“Do you want to eat something?” Kai asked, eyeing his History textbook that had a pen mark on the spine.

“No, I’m not hungry.”

“Yeah, me neither.”

Taemin then picked up his English homework, looked at his for a second, then set it back down.

“How was your day?” Taemin asked dully.

“Eh, alright. Yours?”

“Same.”

Kai laid down completely on the bed and got underneath the covers before casting a glance at Taemin, “Wanna take a nap?”

“Yeah,” Taemin said as he lazily got up from the floor and crawled into bed with Kai, wrapping his arms around his dongsaeng’s waist.

They never did get their homework done that day. 

I spent today sitting in my room, looking around, and doing nothing about the mess. And I need to have it done by tomorrow so my cousin can come over Sunday (if that day is still going to work). Yay for procrastination.
