Sleepover
Best FriendsHey guys! Sorry but this isn't a chapter. I just wanted to throw this out there.
If anyone had suggestions for this story, just PM me about it and I'll work on it. I have quite a bit of ideas for this story but later on, my ideas may start to run low. Therefore, I am open to new ideas from you guys. There's not many of you now but hopefully as this story grows longer, there will be a greater number of you readers. Anyway, that is all I wanted to say. [11/2/2012]
[11/4/2012] Wow, I'm updating this a lot more than I thought I would be xD
Taemin and Kai were in the living room, holding a number of sheets. The sheets were thrown over the couch and a few chairs, being held down by heavy books and shoes. They were making a fort and soon it would be completed with soft blankets and pillows on the inside.
It didn’t take long to finish and soon the two were lying underneath the sheets, playing with the little flashlight in Taemin’s hands. They flicked the switch on and off, Kai making monster noised and making Taemin laugh.
They were getting tired, it was noticeable. Instead of lying on the pillows cuddling with their teddy bears, they continued to play. They were having so much fun. They didn’t want to sleep yet. Taemin’s mother on the other hand, walked over to them, peeking underneath the sheets.
“It’s time to sleep now. Kai’s mother will be here in the morning,” she said sweetly.
“But mommy,” Taemin whined, “we’re having fun!”
“We’re not tired yet, Mrs. Lee,” Kai said before turning his head away abruptly to hide his yawn.
Mrs. Lee laughed and reached her hand in, looking at Taemin expectantly. Taemin pouted and reluctantly handed over the flashlight.
“Goodnight, boys.”
“Goodnight.”
The two lay in the dark side by side, whispering about aliens and magical creatures. They were holding hands, giving comfort to one another in the dark. They were only seven; of course they were a little afraid of the dark. And Mrs. Lee had taken the flashlight.
“Taemin hyung,” Kai whispered.
“Yeah?”
“I had fun today.”
“Me too. I don’t want you to leave tomorrow.”
“But I’ll still see you on Monday.”
“True. Goodnight, Kai ah.”
“’Night, hyung.”
They fell asleep holding each other’s hand. In the morning, Mrs. Lee peeked into the fort to wake them up and couldn’t hold back a chuckle at the two hugging in their sleep.
