Lollipops
Best Friends
“I want a lollipop,” Kai said randomly as he and Taemin sat on the edge of the sidewalk outside of Taemin’s house. It was the weekend and they two eighth graders were bored as usual, doing nothing of real importance.
“Well,” Taemin said, “I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t have lollipops here.”
Kai whinnied in distaste, “Well, you should. You’re supposed to take care of your dongsaeng.”
“Maybe you should try taking care of your hyung. Maybe then, I will give you a lollipop.”
Immediately, Kai reached around his hyungs, placing his hands on Taemin’s shoulder and massaged them the best he could. “Hyung, you’re the best. Will you go buy me a lollipop?” he pleaded sweetly, smiling when Taemin’s eyes closed in relaxation.
“Sure, but after you finish the massage,” Taemin complied, really enjoying the special treatment he was getting.
A few minutes later the two walked to the closest convenience store where Taemin bought his dongsaeng a watermelon flavored lollipop. Taemin paid and Kai greedily unwrapped the sugary goodness before sticking it in his mouth.
“Mm, this is great. Thanks, hyung.”
“Mhm.”
