She was pretty.

She was a noona.

She was funny.

She was smart.

Short, black hair with a nice smile.

She was Yoon Yu Jin.

She was Kai’s partner Biology partner and they got along great. They never really talk much outside of class other than simply, shy greetings in the hallways. They didn’t sit together during lunch; that was Kai’s and Taemin’s time and Yujin usually sat with her older brother who was an eleventh grader and in the kendo club.

That intimidated Kai because he knew that, to be Yujin’s friend, he’d have to be approved of by the elder brother, Yu Jae.

Kai was, without a doubt, seriously crushing on her. Every time they sat together in Biology, he couldn’t stop smiling at her and even attempted to crack jokes intentionally but the jokes always seemed to confuse her. When he wasn’t trying to be funny, she would laugh with or at him a lot.

Kai really liked her and for a week, had been trying to build the courage to talk to her more. He wanted to be real friends with her…and maybe later on, possibly become her boyfriend.

For now, he was content with being her Biology partner.
