“Luhan.” She called her brother’s name walking towards them. “How’s papa?” she asked almost in tears.

Heeyoung pulled away from Jongin’s embrace to look at the girl approaching. “Meihan jiejie.” She muttered and broke down in tears once again while Jongin tried his best to calm the girl down.

Kris, was standing there, frozen starring at the girl.

Luhan walked towards his twin and gave her a hug, “It’s okay, the doctors are doing the best they can.” He assured and the girl nodded hugging her twin brother back as tears flowed to her cheeks silently.

“Don’t cry. Be strong for papa.” Luhan said and Meihan nodded and tried to stop her tears but failed.

“Mmm.” She sobbed. “It won’t stop.” She mumbled as she wiped her tears. “Stupid tears.” She cursed.

*She never changes. Still the same Meihan.* Kris said to himself as he watched the twins hug.

Luhan explained to Meihan what happened and after hours of waiting, a doctor came out of the room in request of Jongin.

“Is Mrs. Kim’s son present?” the doctor asked looking at the 5.

“Yes, it’s me.” Jongin quickly stepped forward. “How’s my mother?” he asked worriedly.

“Mrs. Kim is now out of danger. We successfully took out the bullet from her body.” The doctor answered. “She just needs to rest and not move much for fast recovery.” The doctor added making everyone sigh in relief. At least one of them is now in stable condition.

“We’ll transfer her to one of the rooms and we need you to fill some paper works for us. Please come this way.” The doctor told and Jongin turned to Heeyoung not wanting to leave the girl.

“I’ll be okay. Go, Kris and my cousins are here.” Heeyoung assured him and Jongin nodded.

He gave the girl a quick hug and said “Call me if you need something.” and went to do the papers needed.

Heeyoung nodded and watched Jongin walk away who turns back to her occasionally making Heeyoung chuckle.

“Ahem…” Luhan faked a cough snapping the girl to her day dreaming.

Heeyoung turned to her cousin and saw the twins looking at her with a ‘what-do-you-think-you’re-doing? Look and she just raised a brow.

“What?” she asked blinking innocently.

“Don’t ‘what’ us.” The twins chorused making their cousin pout. Kris faked a cough to cover his chuckles earning a glare from Heeyoung.

“Who’s that?” Meihan asked her cousin as she hugged her twin brother, her cheeks attatched to Luhans.

The twins are very clingy to each other and if they don’t really look alike, you could mistake them as sweet love birds.

“That’s Jongin.” Heeyoung beamed.

“Her boyfriend.” Luhan continued with a displeased tone earning a look from Heeyoung.

“Boyfriend?” Meihan frowned and glanced at Kris with a confusedly.

*Woah. Woah. Woah. What happened here?* Meihan asked herself giving a Kris a look but Kris smiled at her and mouthed ‘We’ll talk later’ and Meihan just returned a light nod before turning to Heeyoung. She's not sure what's the situation between her and Kris. After all, the last time they met they ended up shouting at each other and she didn't even remember the reason.

“Is that true Baobao?” she asked her cousin and Heeyoung shook her head no.

“We’re just friends…for now.” Heeyoung replied mumbling the last part but Meihan heard it and giggled.

“Aigoo! Our baby’s in love. All grown up!” she cheered making Luhan frown.

“Don’t shout! Sheesh! RIP to my beautiful ears.” Luhan hissed on his sister but got ignored.

Then, the conversation was cut off when another doctor came out.

“Mr. Kwon’s consort?” the doctor asked and the four came forward. “Mr. Kwon’s condition is now stable. We’ll confine him in one of the best rooms and we need someone to do the paper works.” The doctor told and Heeyoung turned to her cousins and Kris.

“I’ll do grandpa’s you should wait for uncle.” She said and the twins nodded.

“This way Mr. Kwon.” The doctor escorted the girl and Heeyoung followed.

“Kris.” Meihan called the tall guy. Her voice was distant and foreign. “Go with her for us please. We’ll wait for dad.” She said and Kris, surprised, just nodded and ran after the girl. After all the last time they talked were 4 years ago and it was a big discussion between them that resulted shouting and throwing tantrums.

“Still being stupid?” Luhan whispered at his sister as he pulled her closer to his chest while watching Kris and Heeyoung walk together.

Meihan sighed and rested her head on Luhan’s chest. “Shut up or I’ll kick your balls.” She told and Luhan just chuckled.
