Luhan looked at his father then turned at the couple sitting on the couch and grinned.

“I’m not accepting them…just yet.” He smirked making some puzzled.

“But why?” his father asked.

“Because I think your son wants to make sure that Mr. Kim here will be suited for Heeyoung.” Lay interrupted. “It’s not like Ms. Kwon is just an ordinary lad. She is, after all, the CEO of Kwon Empire and if she’s going to have a partner, that certain person will also be a part of the company.” He explained. “Mrs. Kim has said it earlier, that the business world could judge and we don’t want our president and her partner to be judged as well.” he said earning the nods of the board.

*I never thought of that, I just want to torture that punk.* Luhan thought to himself. *That’s a good excuse though, Thanks to that Mr. Perfectionist.*

“Maybe you’re right.” Mr. Xi said and turned to Mrs. Kim. “Please understand our situation.” He said and the woman nodded in understanding.

“What’s your condition Mr. Xi?” the woman asked Luhan in behalf of everyone.

“It should be the board’s and family’s decision approved by the two involved.” Minho replied and they all nodded except Luhan but he kept quiet and observed the situation before talking.

*Yeah, yeah. Blah blah blah. It’ll be my decision at the end.* Luhan grinned to himself.

“Since we need time to discuss this matter, we should leave it for another day. Let’s just, for today, focus on the conference and to the party.” He said surprising everyone.

Luhan is known as the not special member of the family because of failing the board exam of the company 2 times, but the boy didn’t really care much about that matter because he doesn’t like being in the company at all. And only Heeyoung, Kris and Meihan know that he failed the test on purpose.

“But for now.” He continued and walked towards his cousin. “Since MR. KIM is still not confirmed as suited for the CEO,” he said mocking the boy. “You’re not allowed to date but will remain as friends for now.” He pulled Heeyoung to him separating the two.

*Yeah right MR. Xi Luhan owns, right here baby!* he bragged mentally.

“Any complaints, Baobao?” Luhan turned to his cousin giving her a look and the girl shook her head aware of their promise and on how Luhan is when something doesn’t go his way, making Jongin disappointed.

“And you Mr. Kim,” Luhan turned to the boy who is glaring at him. “Any complaints?” he asked with a grin in his face annoying the hell out of Jongin.

*He’s Daran’s cousin. So what? sheesh* he hissed in his mind.

*That’s right, shut it up dark guy.* Luhan smiled.

“If you have, you may now leave and give up on my COUSIN. Remember, I’ll only approve if you passed the test. I’m sure my ugl- - -, sister, Meihan, thinks the same.” Luhan added making Jongin keep silent and accord to the trap set by Luhan.

*What? Don’t have anything to say?* Luhan mocked Jongin inside his head.

Kris, on the other hand, stiffened at the mention of the name Luhan said.
