Jongin drove silently with you by his side, eyeing him cautiously. Your emotions in that moment were all mixed up: Annoyance, sadness, nervousness and confusion were blending inside of you that you just stared at the guy as he drove to god knows where. Minutes passed like hours and the car entered a big mansion. It was just big as yours back then but this mansion has its traditional Korean design.

Jongin parked the car in front of the mansion’s front gate and wordlessly went out of the car before opening your side of the door. 

You were so nervous and didn't know what to do that you stayed glued on your seat, avoiding Jongin's eyes on you.

Jongin didn't know what to do so he cleared his throat and said "We're here. Get out" with a plain expressionless tone.

It took you a minute to process what was happening and when you finally had the courage, you looked up to him with a glare. "Why did you take me here? Take me back to school." you said as you crossed your arms, Jongin might kill you here and there so fighting a little won't hurt. You're going to hell anyway, that's what you thought. You couldn't prolong the eye contact though and looked away before hearing him groan in annoyance.

Then, you heard him speak. "Get out."  It was obvious Jongin was holding back his temper but you're already fed up with his games and this time, you were determined not to give him whatever he wanted so you ignored him.

Did he really expect you to obey whatever he says after all the thing he has done to you? He has done the worst already so what's there to fear?

Both of you were still in front of the mansion when the front door opened and 5 maids led by a butler stepped out of the house before greeting "Welcome back Young master." and bowed, just like what your servants do in your old mansion. They reminded you of your old life and missed Amanda, Richard and the others especially your grandpa.

Jongin raised his hand as a greeting back and then turned to you only to see you looking at his servants with sad eyes. As much as he deny it, he hated seeing that look on your face. That's why whenever he see you do that face, he would always bother you and it will be replaced with an annoyed face, which he preferred than that long face.

You were so busy remembering your happy life flashback and getting depressed over it when you felt yourself being forced out of the car and then a second later, you found yourself in Jongin's shoulder as your world turned upside down literally.

All eyes were widened as they watched Jongin carry you into the house.

"YAAAAAAAH! Let me down." you shouted as you hit his back repeatedly but the boy just smirked and ignored your tantrums as he entered the house followed by his servants. He walked in and when the doors have finally closed, he let you down.

Your heart was pounding really fast and you realized how annoying Kim Jongin really was back then. So with a huff you glared at him. "YAH. KIM JONG--" you tried to shout but you stopped the moment you heard something that you never wanted to hear.

"BARK! BARK!" a giant (in your sight) german shepherd came running towards you barking excitedly making you panic.

You're scared of dogs especially when they bark and it didn't help that the dog was getting closer to you, its tail wagging rapidly as it got closer. Your eyes widened in horror and turned to run only to bump in Jongin's chest.

Then, it was too late to run because the dog were less than a feet near you and you closed your eyes, ready for the dog to eat you. You were too scared to realize that you're grasping on Jongin's shirt as your body was pushed into his.

Jongin and the workers looked at the freaking out you. Your eyes were shut tightly and you were holding him like your life depended on him. He also realized the lack of space and skinship you're giving him making him smile. Soon, his hands went to your arms as he smiled to the excited dog, reminding himself to thank him later.

"Sit boy. You're scaring our guest." You heard Jongin said to the dog with a warm and soft voice; a really different one unlike the voice he's been giving to others and to you.

The dog wriggled its tail and obediently sat just like its master said but you were still too shocked and frightened to know that and stayed at your position, waiting for the worst to come.

Jongin looked at your startled reaction and pushed you away from him gently with his hands still on your arms to assure you everything will be fine.

And you, in the meanwhile, still had your eyes closed in fear.

Seing it was a hopeless case, Jongin decided a different approach. He leaned down to see your face clearly before saying "It's okay now. Kingkong doesn't bite." warmly that made you calm down. He gave you a moment to calm down and you finally, slowly, opened your eyes to meet Jongin's.

That time, you realized that he has the most beautiful and tantalizing eyes and he was warmly gazing at you. Then, another moment took you to finally notice the lack of space between you and him and quickly pulled away but when you saw the dog, you unconsciously went closer to him again. You didn't know where to go and started to panic. But Jongin gave you a smile as he wrapped his arms around your waist to secure your anxieties.

You still didn't like Kim Jongin but his embrace made you feel secure and you didn't even push him away.

"He doesn't bite." he said with a warm chuckle, like he was a different person from the Jongin you know. "He was just excited to see a visitor." he explained as he looked at the dog sitting on the floor happily looking at you and Jongin.

You were surprised at the new expression Jongin was showing you and felt like he wasn't as bad as you thought he was after all. That day, you saw a soft side of him that made you forget about the dog beside you until he gave you a bright-innocent smile and pointed at the dog.

"See? He's an obedient dog."
