"I... "

Yoona wasn't able to continue her words. She looked down, realizing what she just uttered, that’s supposed to be in her mind only. But how stupid she was... she end up saying it aloud. Now, she doesn't know how she will rephrase it. 

There was a moment of silence between the two ex-lovers, before Seohyun broke her silence and speak for what's on her mind.

"Okay... I-I get it. You don't want me here. You don't want to see me." Seohyun hastily extended her arm and snatch the note in Yoona's grasp. Then she stood, and put it in her shoulder bag. She also reaches for the envelope and tossed it inside in a hurry, before her eyes landed to Yoona's once again. She wore no expressions.

"Where...are... yo-you going?" Yoona was taken aback, and at the same time, she's confused. "Wait-"

"I'm sorry if I bother you tonight, Miss Im. It's a mistake that I followed my father's request. Good night." Seohyun coldly says, showing a respect of bow to the latter before she drags her feet to the door. She slammed the door too loud, leaving the doe-eyed stunned and dumbfounded.

The deer couldn't move with Seohyun's disappearance in her office. She was busy comprehending with what happened, until it snapped her from reality.

Yoona quickly left her office and run as much as she can on the way to the elevator. But too late. The door had closed, and she instantly kicks the metal door. Having no intention to waste time, she found herself, using the emergency stair cases.

Meanwhile, Seohyun is in the elevator can't take it anymore and let her tears drops in the corner of her eyes. Yes, she was hurt. Not simply like that, she was offended. If Yoona can easily ask her like that, she can easily be hurt. 

It's suppose be nothing, but she end up hurting. 

Was it because Yoona is still occupying her heart?

Or was it because, she is just too easy to hurt?

Either from the two, Seohyun knew Yoona is the most stupid girlfriend she had. She honestly knows about it already, yet, here she is, still couldn't get use to Yoona's direct words. 

"Why am I even here?" mumbles her, sniffling from time to time while wiping the new tears that would drop. She keeps on doing the same thing until she was a little surprise when a handkerchief suddenly appeared in front. Sniffling, she tilted her head to the right, curious as to whom the person was.

"Um, Use it. I think you need this." 

It's a girl. A girl having the same height with her is offering her handkerchief.

"Ex... excuse me?" she furrows her eyebrows towards the girl.

The girl smiled, reaching for her hand and put the handkerchief on top of her palms. "Here, take this. Just give it back after you use them." said the unknown girl, softly.

"Um... thank-thank you but-"

"No I insist. You badly need this. I don't know what happened, but wiping the tears through, this could somehow comfort you." The girl didn't let Seohyun finished her sentence, and instead, kindly and willingly want to give her handkerchief.

The young brunette could only smile and, "Thank you." says her gratitude to the kind unknown girl.

"At least from this, you can stop thinking about the hurtful feelings. I-I... actually don't like to see people crying."

Seohyun was speechless, as she stared at the girl and began to wipe the tears in her eyes and on her cheeks. The former smiled at her in return.

"Thank you again." Although she still couldn't stop her tears, Seohyun tried to stop them by using the handkerchief. She uses it to cover her face and there, she cries and sobs with all her heart. The girl next to her look at her pitifully.

Beds of sweats were dropping Yoona's forehead that moment she arrived in the lobby. Her heartbeat is increasing incredulity, whereas her breathing, barely could get through her lungs. She keeps on panting, as her two hands are supporting her through her knees. 

She didn't mind though.

All she could think right now is to say sorry to the girl she unconsciously hurt. 

She stood in the middle, waiting patiently for the girl to walk out from the elevator. After a moment of waiting, she finally had a small smile in her face, as the girl she had been waiting, walking dangerously towards. She momentarily straightened and braces herself, ready to greet her back. But then again, it wasn't as what she expected. Just when she will about to open , Seohyun just simply pass at her. 

"Wa-wait... " Yet, Yoona was determined. She immediately turned and follow her leaving the building. "Hold on! Joohyun!" All the way through, she keeps on calling her, until they were outside, she's glad she stopped. 

But that wasn't as the case. Seohyun stop because she is waiting for the car to fetch her.

"J-Joohyun, please... It wasn't what i meant for." Yoona breathlessly pleaded, blocking the young girl's sight of the road. "Um... “she reach for her hand and hold her firmly. "I meant that... I'm-I'm... happy to see you back. You-You don’t need to leave." added her, hoping the girl will respond to her confessions. Seohyun wasn't looking at her, nor did she hold Yoona back.

Yoona bit her bottom lip. "I'm sorry. I'm really so sorry." hinting of tears are visible in her eyes, as she look at her sprightly. 

"What now?" Seohyun's voice is still cold.

"Yes?"

Looking back to the doe-eyed, Seohyun unconsciously let a single tear drop in the corner of her eyes. "You're tired... I'm Yoona. Go have some rest. I'll see you tomorrow."

The doe-eyed was confused. "Wait no... "

Before Yoona could even react, Seohyun abruptly pulled off her hand off of the doe-eyed and step back away from her.

"Don't worry, you'll move on eventually. Just don't bother me around you." for the last time, Seohyun utter before she passed through the girl and step into her car. Yoona her back, only to see the car has moved before her eyes.

Yoona groaned inwardly, totally displease with what she has done. Too stupid for even asking such question, without her conscious. But can’t she blame herself more? She’s just too carried away with her emotions. Something that she could not control. Sigh.

“Yeah… I’ll just see you again. Aish. I hope this heart will act well tomorrow.” Yoona literally ruffle her hair and at the same time, she stomped her feet for so many times. “Babo. Babo. Babo!!!”

Yoona went back to her office, massaging her temples. She at the same time has a huge headache suddenly made her that weak. She keeps on massaging it for the pass 15 minutes, while closing her eyes. But at the same time, her mind is running. Her mind is flashing back the things that happened just an hour ago.

Yes, she still can't get over. She still can't forgive herself. It was totally a mistake. After like 5 months? She treated Seohyun like that? How bad for her. How inconsiderate she is to Seohyun's feelings. She knows the latter's heart is fragile. 

Yet, not matter how she thinks over what happened, she will end up feeling that 'Miss', still. 

She missed her so much.

"Just plain stupid." Mumbles Yoona. She finally stopped from massaging her temples before she gradually put her focus on the monitor before her eyes. In the corner, she noticed the clock strikes 11:59pm. 

"Oh Gosh. I need to stay up late for this." Yoona realized what she wasted. Her two hands immediately reach for the keyboard and began to work. It was then a knock was heard at the door. "Come in." Yoona softly called. 

As if it was a cue, the door opens, revealing a girl on her business suit just like her.

"You ready for tomorrow?" 

Yoona shake her head honestly. "I almost forgot to finish all these. Aigoo, if it wasn't for that someone." she said, in response to the girl that just came in and settle down in a chair across her desk. The girl nodded in understanding.

"I suppose that someone has got to do with you? Is she someone that has a big part of your life? You seemed stress?" The girl continued.

Yoona sighed tiredly. "Non of your business. How 'bout you? I haven't seen any reports coming from your department."

"Well, that's the reason why am I here, Miss Im." The girl stretches her hand, holding out an envelope to the girl she respects.

Yoona timidly shifted her eyes from the monitor to the girl across her. "Miss Liu?"

"Hmm?"

Yoona smiled inwardly, accepting the envelope from the latter. "Thanks for your work. You can now take your leave."

"Um but, I want to ask first... I'm just curious, Miss Im." 

"Amber, it's working hours."

"It's 12 midnight, so no more working hours." Amber corrected, earning Yoona's eyes on her once again.

"You won't leave or I will-"

"Is that someone, your ex lover? The president's daughter? I've been hearing it around since I went back. So was it?" Amber grinned, quiet teasing the doe-eyed.

Yoona rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She doesn't bother to answer and, yet, she continue with her works. Amber snickers, as she decided not to bother anymore. She stood up and bows, and let herself leave the office peacefully.

The young team leader of the marketing department, Im Yoona stopped with what she has been doing after she heard the door closes. Placing her two palms in her cheeks, She cupped them and shake her head for so many times. In an attempt to stop her mind from thinking about the girl, and so she could focus.

Yet for some reason, it always leads her back to the young girl. Yoona dropped her head against her desk, wearing such a tired face.

"Joohyun, I'm sorry." She heartily mumbles, allowing her eyes to close, as her mind, heart and body is tired from the day she went through.

The morning comes so fast. Yoona saw herself on the couch, spreading her two arms widely and at the same time, a big yawn from her, is can be seen. She groggily fix her hair and her clothes before which, she get on her feet and walk to the bathroom in her office. 

"Wake up, Yoona." Yoona said to herself, as she can see her reflection in a mirror. She pats her face for so many times, and shake her for a lot of time before she end up sighing and wash her face through the water in the faucet. She did it for a little a while, until she straightened herself again, only to see the same tired face in the mirror.

"Yoona, the event is later. You should be prepared with them now. What are you doing? Aigoo, I need some exercise." Yoona mumbles to herself. A yawn escaped afterwards. Turning around, she drags feet lifelessly to the door, and walked out of the bathroom. She proceeds to her desk and momentarily yawns once again as she opened her laptop in the desk. Yet, before she could even open a file, she turned her head to the nearby sofas. "What the... " quickly gains the attention of a box in the coffee table.
