02 | Trouble

"Oh, I have to guess..."

Seohyun stood froze on her spot, anticipating for the next words coming from the doe-eyed best friend of hers. Yoona can be seen slowly approaching her with her infamous wide grin - that her legs feel like it will collapse, because she can sense there's something with those grin she certainly won't appreciate.

She gulped nervously and tried to voice out but only her breath came out. 

"You." Yoona finally stopped in front of her, eyes are looking so intent. Their faces are brushing against one another. She could barely breath once again. But before she could think of the worst scenario, Yoona turned to the side, checking on her camera by the tripod.

"Boss, You didn't record it, did you?" 

Seohyun sighed, relieved. But she's not yet safe. She needs to find a good explanation first. "Um... I... "

"You forgot, didn't you?"

Seohyun slowly turning her eyes back to Yoona's. And the former furrows her eyebrows, calmly.  She pouted and nodded to confirm. "Sorry."

"Why would you be sorry? Silly!" Yoona chuckled softly, ruffling her best friend's hair before she casually headed to the cupboard, in search for any comfortable clothes.

Seohyun's eyes widened momentarily, realizing that the doe-eyed is in her towel only. Quickly, she rushes to the bathroom, earning Yoona's amuse laugh outside. Her cheeks just practically heated up again.

"Boss, I'll volunteer for the breakfast. Have a nice shower~" Yoona said out loud, before she entered the girl's changing room. Seohyun on the other hand begang to shower.

It only took a minute for Yoona to change her clothes and she exited the room, clad in a jogging pants and sweat white shirt. She then proceeds to the vanity and picked up her brush - so she could also dry it up through a bryer. After a while, she ponytail her hair. Then she noticed she can still hear flowing of water inside the bathroom. She finish tying her hair for another minute before she approached the door. "Boss! we should share the bed tonight again, because you failed to record it!" she let out a soft giggle.

Instead of an answer, the door opens, revealing Seohyun on her towel only. Hair is wet, But her eyes are intense.

"NO WAY!!!" The young dj frantically scream in protest.

"Why not?"  Yoona, she snickered at her reaction. "I told you to record the night but... " she pause for a brief seconds as Seohyun proceeds to the cupboard.  Then she continue as she follows. "You obviously intended it! I mean, you don't want to record us! Admit it!"

However, Seohyun just sent a glare to the doe-eyed then attempted to pass at her, when Yoona blocked her.

"I mean it. I want to see or to hear how loud I snore so I could actually call a doctor about this."

Seohyun sighed. "Let's not just share bed anymore, please?" eyes are pleading.

"You don't want to cuddle with me?" Yoona asked pouting.

"Not like that! I mean... ugh... " Seohyun was about to pass through the young director again when Yoona held her both bare shoulders.

"Tch, fine. I'll just call a doctor and ask why I snore so much. I believe there's some medicine for this."

Seohyun groaned. "Ugh! Yoona-"

"I just don't want to sleep alone again. You know I can sleep so well if we do share a bed." Yoona pouted, sadly. "Please... Boss." yet, she wiggle her eyebrows, asking for a permission.

"You know, you just really need to find another girl again so-"

"I've said it. And that's final. Okay? I'll see you later in the dining room." Yoona smiled so bright, pinching Seohyun's cheeks before leaving the room.

Defeated, Seohyun just dropped her shoulders and let out a huge yawn. "I guess, I should just get use to this. She's already curios." but then again, who is she to decline it? She loves her more than anything else. "Aigoo... " Walking in to the changing room, she casually change into a comfortable clothes.

Meanwhile, Yoona is enjoying designing her own pancake she cooked for the two of them when she noticed she forgot to pour a milk for her best friend. Without any second thought, she hastily grab an empty glass and a fresh milk, pouring it consequently. Then she place it next to the plate of pancake. Feeling satisfied, she  headed to the living room and opened the plasma TV. It was on time as the first person who appeared on the screen is Suzy, featuring the movie she's currently doing with her. 

"Hmm, not bad for the first teaser." proudly, she muttered to herself. She flipped over one channel to another until she stopped at one particular channel, wherein, it shows an anime series. It's the green frog her best friend very like. Yoona, who is fond of other anime somehow liked it as well, ever since she got to know her. She flopped over the couch and crossed her arms, as she began to enjoy the show.

A moment later, Seohyun went down the stairs, carrying her phone on the right hand. Realizing Yoona is currently on the couch, watching her favorite anime series, she has this wide smile, appearing across her face. She approached her and knock on her head right on an instant. "I thought you wanna volunteer for breakfast? Why are you here?"

Yoona rubbed her head pouting. "I already did, Boss. You should check the dining room if you want to confirm."

"If you did, why are you watching the television?"

"Aish. Enough with the words." Yoona reached Seohyun's hand and shot up from the couch, dragging her with her in the dining room. The moment they're in, Yoona ha a victorious smile painted on her face. "See. I even prepared your fresh milk."

Seohyun shot a playful glare to Yoona, who only brush her off and sat down.

"Come on. I'm hungry, Boss."

Seohyun just gradually complied and made a brief eye contact with the doe-eyed beauty, before she dig in to ther own pancake. Yoona was about to follow with her own pancake when she thought of something.

"Boss, why don't we name my new car?"

"Name?" Seohyun paused for a moment. "Your fortuner doesn't even have one. Why are you thinking of this out of a sudden?"

"Um, It just came to my mind. But guess, I just wanna name it since the car model is pretty long for me. So what do you think?" Yoona can't help but chuckle softly.

"It's Okay, but what name?"

"You suggest."

"Tch, do I look like a bank of names for you? You name it!" Seohyun firmly said, as she resume on her pancake.

"But Boss, you can create a lot of names inside your brain."

"Yeah, If I'm in the mood and if there's a reason. Do I have a reason for this?" Seohyun stated fact. It's like a silly thought to name her car.

Yoona pouts. "It's my car... which I think is yours too."

"Chincha? It's not my money that you used to buy."

"But you'll use it eventually."

"Yah! Just when did I use any of your cars?"

"I mean you can always ride in it." Yoona sheepishly take her words back, knowing that her best friends never learned driving. "It's just the name, you're making such a big deal." but can't help and comment.

"Aigoo, here goes again - she wanted to make me feel guilty for not giving what she wants."

"So you are now?" Yoona's grin automatically appeared, along with her soft giggle.

Seohyun rolled her eyes. "But not today. I'm not in the mood." she reached for her glass of milk but Yoona held her wrist before she could even put it against her lips. "What?" she confusedly looked at her.

"But you are going to give me the name within this day."

"What the... " Seohyun chuckled. "What's so important about this? Why are you in a hurry?"

Yoona softly giggle. "I just want to call it right away. Come on, I know you can do it, Boss."

"Silly." Seohyun brushed Yoona's hand off of her as she finally have her milk. Yoona on the other hand eat her now cold pancake. Seohyun gradually knocked the doe-eyed girl's head using her fork. 

"I know you can't resist me." Yoona snickered, earning a mumble from the other girl, but she didn't get it. She decided not to add more, otherwise, her mind will change.

[Shooting Stars Restaurant]

Yuri was sitting in one of the table of a restaurant, waiting patiently for either Sooyoung or Yoona to arrive. In front of her is a laptop, containing the proposal she also want to share with the doe-eyed boss. Next to the laptop is her usual order, chocolate cake and ice tea. She just had her lunch, so she thought of ordering a dessert after it. While she's doing her work, she's listening to an rnb track playing in the background of the said place. 

"Geez, I thought only 30 minutes." glancing over her watch, she found out that it has been 35 minutes now, since Yoona called and promised she is arriving with Seohyun within 30 minutes. But it looked like the latter will be quite late. "I hope Mrs. Im won't arrive earlier than them. Or I don't know what's gonna be her reaction." 

Putting back her attention to the screen of her laptop, she sighed as she also thought of Sooyoung, who promised to arrive earlier than her. A moment that passed, she finally has this small smile in her face when she spotted the young dj, making her way to her table.

"I'm sorry. We encountered a heavy traffic , Yul. Have you eaten?" asked Seohyun right away, as she sat down across the tan girl. She put a paper bag down to the empty seat next to her.

"Yes. I did. But where's Yoona?" Yuri had a little confuse in her face. She looked around but spotted nothing from her boss.

"Oh, she's just out there, parking her 'new car' to a better place." Seohyun said, with a quote using her two fingers in the air. Yuri snickered at her statement.

"Why do you sounded like you don't like it - Yoona has a new car."

"Who would like it? It's her 3rd car, Yul. I think she's just using her money for her car."

"Well, she earn it. Not like she stole it."

"But I would rather see her spending her money to other things than to buy a car."

"Like what things?"

"Um... " Seohyun pause for a moment before she continued. "... Like spend it to charities. You know, that kind of deeds." she couldn't think of anything way important than to do good deeds. Yoona's family is way too rich so she can't think about her family either.

"You thought she could do that? Aren't you her best friend? Her family has a foundation for kids and to less fortunate."

Seohyun frowned, realizing it quickly. "Y-yeah, almost forgot about that."

"Or you just want to explain, but you failed to think of anything convincing?"

"Aish. I just don't like it." Seohyun whined, though she admit it.

"Aigoo... Just let her. She's just enjoying her life to the fullest."

Suddenly, Seohyun spotted Yoona outside, currently talking to a female stranger. Her eyes literally twitch, as she can also see the girl is flirting with her best friend. Yuri's head gradually turned behind her, almost want to laugh, seeing Yoona outside, flirting with another flirty girl. But it's more like, she's amused that Seohyun's face just turned like an eagle. And she certainly knows her 'jealousy' just strikes again.

"Someone can't get her eyes off her girl again." Yuri said out loud, teasing her.

"I thought Im player can be tired as well? Pfft. Once a player always a player. You know, I hate her sometimes." Seohyun mumbled half to herself. She reached for Yuri's cake and started to eat it like a mad friend.

"Never let your mouth speak what your heart speak doesn't feel." Yuri replied with a meaningful words, earning a questioning look from the other girl. She chuckles and pointed to Yoona and to the girl across her. "You two are best friends but it's obvious that you don't see her like that. Seriously, what's the story and you are not planning to confess? I thought you know how Yoona can be such an enthusiast when someone confesses her feelings to her. Not to mention, it only gets a second for you to get her 'yes'."

"Are you hearing what you are saying?"

"Well, mind me explain your part?" Yuri casually asked, picking up her ice tea for a brief drink, as she wait for Seohyun to continue. 

Seohyun let out an audible sighed as she glanced to Yoona outside. Once again making her blood slightly boil. But she quickly turned to Yuri. "It's difficult. I mean... see how we are right now? I don't quiet expect that we'll end up as best friends, knowing that we are so opposite for each other. But it just happened and here I was, really afraid to confess because it might ruin our friendship. I don't want that to happen."

"For four years? I'm really impress. Others would really not survive and confess."

"But their friendship won't either survive. You know if you value your friendship, you would choose to keep what's inside your heart and just ignore it."

"Yeah, yeah, I get what you mean. But still, don't ever say something you don't mean. I can sense it's not the real thing in your heart. But I gotta say, You are indeed a philosopher. Cheers?" Yuri smiled, and winked at Seohyun before taking another sip of her tea.

Seohyun, she turned outside again. This time, she can see Yoona giving a calling card to the unknown girl.

"I'm seriously going to ask her if she still wants to share a bed." She scoffed out of annoyance.

Yuri almost spilled the liquid out of upon hearing the words from the young girl. She chuckles, totally amused and can't believe that she's obviously jealous over her best friend, talking to another girl. Well, it's not new, but it's totally funny. "Will you just stop being jealous if you don't want to confess or be her girl!" she stated fact.

Seohyun shrugged her shoulders. "I jut can't help it."

"But really? You guys share a bed?" Yuri was a little surprised with the thought.

Seohyun's eyes literally widened. "Did I just really said that?" hands are covering , as she realized that she shared the least she can share to Yuri. 

"Whoa... don't tell me, you guys are like best friends with benefits?" Yuri teased with a grin. "Can I join?"

The young dj can't help and blush, but didn't missed it and slapped the tan girl's shoulders, who only snickered at her reaction. "Ya! It's not like that!"

"Then what? Hahaha!" Yuri's laugh erupted.

Seohyun covered her face through her two hands, totally embarrassed with her own revelation. Her ears are now so red, and shoulders are slowly reddening. She can't help it but whine quietly to her own, as she can hear the other girl, still laughing. But soon enough, Yuri stopped when she saw Yoona is now making her way to their table.

"What's going on? Why are you laughing and Boss? Why are you covering your face?" asked Yoona as she sat down next to the latter. 

"Well, she just said something funny. Um, kindly." Yuri muttered, gesturing for Yoona to sit next to her instead. Oblivious, the doe-eyed girl simply ruffled the Seohyun's hair and comply to Yuri's request and She put her laptop down to their table.

"Here, I have some ideas." Yuri shared her laptop to the boss.

Sensing that Yoona had left her seat, Seohyun slowly pulled her hands off of her face and blink twice, as her visions were now to Yoona. Both girls looked at her with an amuse smile. Yet, Yuri has a tease in her eyes. She sent a brief glare to her and just mind the cake she stole from Yuri. 

"Who was the girl?" But she still can't help it and asked Yoona, without looking at her. As much as jealous she can be, her curiosity always strikes.

Yoona smiled hearing the question. "Her name is Naeun, a law student. Just passing by and was asking to help her with her phone. But I end up sharing my contact number." she informed, quiet excited for the new girl she met.
