The Coo vs. The Trouble Maker

CRIIIIIING~

Like it was her daily routine to wake up with the sound of her alarm clock, Seohyun bolted up in an instant. But much to her surprise, she barely could even recognize her room. "What the hell happened?" There, in the floor, her blanket... scratches can be seen around. Then her brushes, it was spread on the floor. Not to mention, her make up kit, that was suppose to be on her makeup table, are on the same floor. 

"Oh come on... " groaned her, as she jump off of the bed and hastily fix her things. It took her a little while before she fix it up and she fell back on her mattress, feeling a little tired. But suddenly thinking of her work, she turned to the side and eyes widened when she found out it's almost six. The class starts 7:30am. Meaning, she'll be really late if she won't hurry. Frantically, she run to her bathroom, only to see the little kitten, sitting on the floor, and looked up to her. It meowed to her. But she has no time to play with her. So she crouch down and picked her up, so she could brought her to the bed.

"You stay there, Okay?" with that, she rushes back to her bathroom and began her shower. 

A shower that lasted for 15 minutes only. 

When she went out, the little kitten is already in the floor, playing with her remote control of her television. 

"Yah! Yoongie! That's not a toy!" Seohyun hastily rushes and carefully grabbed the remote control. She put aside the remote control and carried the little kitten on both of her hands. The latter meowed at her, as if asking for anything. "Aigoo, are you hungry now? But I'll be late if I am going to go out and buy you some."

Suddenly, a knock on the door was heard, followed by Luna's voice.

"Hyun, breakfast is ready!"

"Okay! I'll be out in a while." Seohyun place the kitten back to the mattress and proceeds to her closet, where she put her new and clean clothes.

After she had change her clothes, she fix her hair then approach the little kitten, currently lying on her bed. "Hmm, why don't we share the same breakfast? That'll be cool right?" she put aside her brush and carried the little one to her arms. Consequently, leaving her own room, calmly.

Meanwhile, In Yoona's Apartment...

The doe-eyed girl is on her dining room, eating her breakfast when she heard her phone beeps, interrupting her meal. She casually took it, which was only next to her plate and read the message that was received.

from Kris:

Guess what? My girlfriend's housemate caught us again making out in the living room.

You wouldn't believe me, but she freak out and just rushes inside her room. Hahaha!

She's seriously such an innocent a**!

By the way, good morning. How's your morning?

Yoona couldn't help but smile to the message. She's fond of Kris' story about this innocent girl of her girlfriend's housemate, because she find it so entertaining. She couldn't picture it out well, how could a girl be so innocent still in this world?

Without hesitations, she replied.

to Kris:

That girl is so funny, Kris.

But poor her. I bet, she hasn't even kiss someone?

And... yes, I'm having a good morning~

from Kris:

Yeah, you got what I am thinking. keke.

Oh, and why? What about this morning?

Yoona run her fingers on her brown silky hair, as her free hand replied to Kris.

to Kris:

I don't know but I'm pretty sure, today is going to be a great day.

Anyway, I'm off now. I'll talk to you later.

After sending the message, she put her phone down and stand on her feet. She took her dirty plates and proceeds to the counter. She just place her plates there before she gradually took her phone and headed upstairs, to her room.

As she walked in to her room, she immediately got her backpack and so as her attache case. She was about to leave her room when she noticed the Popsicle stick she keep was on the floor, under her desk. She put her attache case down and picked it up, so she could place it neatly back on top of her dairy. Satisfied, she went out and leave the house, peacefully.

[Gwangju High School]

Sigh~

Just like what she had expect, Seohyun is standing in front of an empty space in the parking lot, where she parked her car. "Okay... this is really something so serious." she muttered, as she was convinced that she needed to step up and face that Taecyeon. It's about her precious car, which she has no intention to give freely to the guy.

"Bring this on~" turning on her back, she walked out the parking lot. Yet, she stopped eventually when a voice called for her.

"Hey gorgeous~" 

Seohyun looked around. The voice is so familiar for her. Unfortunately, she forgot who owned the voice.

"Yah! Seo Joohyun! In Your right!"

"Hm?" Complying, she raised her eyebrows, upon seeing a van, and on the driver's seat, a familiar person, she never thought she could see around the School. "Minhyuk-ssi?" called out her, as she approach him.

"Hey~" The said boy greeted her with a charming smile. "How was the work? I've heard that you are doing a great job. Eh?" he snickered, afterwards.

"What are you doing here?! It's been a while, Huh?" Seohyun just couldn't believe. Minhyuk is basically one of SONE Times employee.

"Come inside first. I'll show you something."

"Oh? What?!" Seohyun excitedly complied, as she went over to the opposite side. Minhyuk opened it for her, and she step in, only to be wowed~ by the scene inside the van; two monitors, a speaker and some devices on a small table.

"What are these for?"

"Tsk,tsk, as if she doesn't know how these works." Minhyuk picked up a butterfly pin on the table, and pin it to Seohyun's collar.

"What's this?" Curious, Seohyun touched it. "This is beautiful."

Minhyuk then proceeds to a wireless earpiece and put it on the latter's one ear. "Jinwoon ask me to give you this, so He could monitor everything that was going on inside the School. We heard about the trouble you had encounter, so we want to monitor you closely."

"Oh, Just like the other undercover reporters?" Seohyun grinned, finally understanding the stuffs Minhyuk is giving her. She remember, watching an undercover mission inside the show room, in Jinwoon's office.

"Yep." Minhyuk then turned to his computer and did something so fast. Seohyun is just on the side, watching him, until the monitor shows a view.

"That's in the van right?" Seohyun pointed, as if it wasn't that obvious.

Minhyuk nodded. "Your pin is the camera and your earpiece is for something trivial you're about to hear coming from Boss Jinwoon later. So don't ya ever turned these off, Okay?"

Seohyun showed two thumbs up. "Jjang! You're the best Minhyuk-ssi!"

"I'm always the best, Seohyun-ah. Now, go out and do your work."

"Okay." Seohyun step out from the van and excitedly just headed to the School building.

Noise~

Seohyun arrived in the School, feeling great that she actually did arrive 20 minutes before her first class. Just something so new. However, she was welcomed by noises, all around the hallway of first floor and 2nd floor. Besides this, some students are staring at her. And she noticed, they're gossiping to one another.

'What's going on?' Her eyebrows raised. Doesn't have any idea on the commotion that was apparently in front of her. She couldn't careless, so she just ignore, and walk to her first class. When she walked in, even her classmates looked at her weirdly. "Yah! What's going on here?!" she practically yelled, earning the students laugh. But what caught her is one male student, pointing to the board. She followed and eyes just went large, upon seeing tons of pictures of her, posted on the board. "Who... who did this?" Seohyun's eyebrows lowered and pull together to form a wrinkle -- indicating that she's boiling in... anger.

Krystal and Minho arrived in the same room, having the same reaction with Seohyun. They're both speechless, yet, couldn't help but smile to the random photos, taken during her PE subject. 

"Seohyun..."

Seohyun turned to the source of the voice, where she was greeted by Krystal's worried expressions. Yet, she's not int he mood to say anything, and just rushes outside.

"Yah! Seohyun! Where are you going?!" Krystal and Minho went out their room, calling Seohyun's attention. But too late. Seohyun had already run. All of her classmates are almost the same, watching the latter's figure, moving so fast from the distance.

"Is she planning to ditch class?"

"No. I believe she will confront that Taecyeon." Krystal said. "Hope she'll be fine."

"You say so." Minho uttered as he entered their classroom again.

That moment then, the bell rang, indicating for the classes to start. Krystal just casually entered the room, along with the other students. But not all students entered their classroom right away. Some were still outside, making fun of the pics that was spread all around the campus.

Although it's not Monday, Yoona still let out a huge yawn, as soon as she stand on the ground of Gwangju High School. But after then, a big smile appeared in her face, as she can see students, walking with her in the path that leads to the building. Just like she normally does, she would only greet them simply, acting so professional with her work. But it wasn't long enough and she realized, the hallway of Gwangju is not the same as what she usually see. Students are outside, gossiping to one another, while others are laughing and seemed like, having fun with something?

She couldn't figure it out. But what she also noticed, most of them are holding a Polaroid. Yoona got curious. She stopped to one of the students and ask her curiosity.

"What's happening here? Isn't the school bell rang, already?"

That one female student simply shared one of the Polaroid she's holding. Yoona accepted and as if she had seen a horror picture, her eyes went large. Apparently, her new student is on the said Polaroid pciture, with her big mouth - falling on the ground. 

"Isn't she cute? But what a shame, Teacher Im. She's an epic fail when it comes to sports." 

Yoona couldn't help but crumpled the Polaroid and throw it on the floor. "Taecyeon did this. Didn't He?"

"Well, Yes." The address girl said, giggling.

"That kid!" Yoona muttered, between her gritted teeth. She didn't think twice and continue with her walk. But for this time, she's planning to see Taecyeon.

And there's only one place she knew; the Basketball Court. Taecyeon's playground.

However, when she arrives. A lot of students are shouting,

"Wooohooo!!! Go Taecyeon!!!"

"We love you Taecyeon!!!"

"Seohyun Loser!!! Seohyun Loser!!!"

"Kick that b*tch! out of the court!!!"

Amidst to that, her new student is in the middle of the court, and Taecyeon, facing each other. Yoona doesn't like the scene before her. This is one of the scenario she always hated. She was about to open and scold them, but she didn't expect - Seohyun suddenly throw the ball towards Taecyeon. The latter caught it and began to dribble. The next thing she saw, Taecyeon pass at the new student and run all the way to the ring, making a lay-up to score. Yoona turned back to Seohyun, the younger girl was still standing there, immobile. 

Students are laughing so hard at her. Some were even booing. Taecyeon got the ball again and without mercy, He throw the ball to Seohyun, hitting her back.

"Hahaha! Such a loser!!!"

Yoona can't take it any longer. She step one forward and, "Yah! Seo Joohyun-ah! You are not going to fight?!" she shouted, surprisingly herself.

All heads are on her direction, literally.

Seohyun, who has been closing her eyes tightly, opened her eyes slowly, upon hearing such voice. As if it seemed like a new light, she turned and a big smile make its way to her face. "Teacher Im!" and for that very moment, she find a new strength. 

"Taecyeon is a beast! You're a trouble maker! I believe you are stronger than the beast!" 

But Seohyun's new strength slightly lowered after hearing such words from the doe-eyed teacher. Almost thought she would be this nice to her, and cheer on her. 

"Wahaha! Trouble Maker~!" And now students has the reason to more. Seohyun sighed and lowered her gazes. Yoona feel so bad. She was about to take her words back, when Taecyeon beat her.

"Wow~ Now Teacher Im is on your side. You should end this mess you actually started." Taecyeon said, snickering.

Seohyun's attention just shifted right away to Taecyeon, sending her a death glare. The latter smirked on her. Yet, before she could curse her inside her mind, Taecyeon suddenly charge towards her. Seohyun got alarmed. She her back and found the ball just nearby. Without anymore hesitations, she charge up and got the ball on time. She didn't dribble it, but run towards the ring. Taecyeon was behind her when she did a lay up like Taecyeon did.

"Scores to Seo Joohyun!!!" Yoona surprised herself again by shouting it to the court. Students are all quiet, but all of them are looking at her side. Realizing what she did, she composed herself and crossed her arms, as if telling the students that she's still the Teacher Im they know.

Meanwhile, Taecyeon got the ball again and run to the other side of the court. He did a dunk, causing for girls and boys to cheer on him. Seohyun, got the ball again. Yet, she is not really a pro, as the taller guy just effortlessly stole it and once again score with a lay up.

"You need to be skillful if you ever wanted to be a basketball player." said Taecyeon before he runs again the other side. Seohyun is panting already, as she picked up the ball, gripping on it on the process. She can hear the cheers so loud, which made her angrier this time. If Teacher Im did cheer on her earlier, she couldn't hear anything from her anymore. Rather, she noticed, she's just standing by the side, watching her walking to the the other side. Yet, she shrug it and focus on her goal, basket. One shot is equavalent for 1 point actually, at least for this game she initiated with Taecyeon. But who will get the score of 10 first will lose and definitely, will clean the basketball court, as Taecyeon proposed.

But if she won, she'll get to sit down with him and talk about him and the prom.

I should win. I should win. I should win. She keeps on chanting inside her mind.

Taecyeon was just waiting when she rushes and attempted a shot. But once again, she failed. Taecyeon got the ball quickly and run again. Seohyun didn't pause anymore, and catch up on Taecyeon. Before He could even get inside the ring, she blocked him.

Taecyeon seemed not threatened. He just passed to Seohyun and made a lay up again, making it 4 over 1.

"Just six more points!" Taecyeon whispered to the young writer's ears, before he victoriously went to the opposite side again. Seohyun picked up the ball and did the same. But boy, Taecyeon blocked her shot this time. And the latter got another chance to score again. She's indeed not an athletic student. Yet, she is not born to give up. So she tried her best, all throughout...

Unfortunately, her best wasn't good enough. 

Taecyeon won and the students celebrated with him.

Seohyun was on the side, catching her breath, enjoying the sweats all over her face, while watching the students, in the middle of the court, cheering and celebrating the win of Taecyeon. 

"That's Okay. The real game isn't here. The bowl is our real game." said Yoona, as she stood behind her student. She honestly realized that it's only for fun, so she didn't cheer on her anymore.

Seohyun turned and smiled, too weak. "I lose... isn't it?"

"Well, yeah. Obviously. Come, the next bell will rang again. And please... fix your hair. You look like a damn cockatoo." Yoona turned and started to leave the place.

The younger girl looked back at the crowd surrounding Taecyeon. "Now, How am I suppose to bring my car back and clean this court." she said, loud enough for Yoona to stop and turned to her again.

"What? It's... not just for fun?" asked Yoona, surprised.

Seohyun averted her again to the doe-eyed teacher. "Well, yeah... obviously~" as she imitated the latter's raising of shoulders and the way she spoke without even putting any emotion on it.

For the first time, Yoona shared a simple genuine smile to her new student. "Just think about it later. Let's get back to the real thing - My English Class." yet, it quickly disappears. She turned and resume on her walk.

"Did...  I just see her smile?" Seohyun mumbled to herself, scratching her head in the process - while she follow her casually.

[SONE Times Building, Sow Room]

"Who's that teacher?" ask Jinwoon, as he pause the projector. In the screen, He and Hyoyeon with other staffs is currently staring at Yoona's face.

"She never told you?" Hyo ask. She herself doesn't know the teacher.
