Episode 13: Missing Piece

-Seo Residence-

[It's been a while buddy~]

"I know~" Seohyun smiled in a voice over her earpiece. She was in the balcony, sun bathing wearing her bathrobe.

[Then what are you doing? Do you want to talk with her?]

"Who are you talking about?" Seohyun giggles, reaching for a hot choco in a coffee table. 

[The girl you told me the last time?]

Seohyun chuckles heartedly. Yes, she did told her friend about what happened to her one week of break. And it seems, it was all about Yoona.

"Oh, her? I don't think I'll have a time."

[Oh really? ]

"Ugh! stop it Nicole. I told you already. What happened in the camp will stay in the camp." 

[But you told me she... ]

"Wait, before  anything else. .. I want to remind you, it was just a dream."

[But you did feel it. How come it wasn't?]

Seohyun rolled her eyes hearing such giggle in the next line. Because here she is, teasing her again after the night she cried. Or did she really? She really doesn't know if she did cried the entire night. She was this busy  now, after the camp she had with Yoona. How can she remember such things.

"Okay fine, I admit. It wasn't a dream." But she admit, she felt the kiss she's been bothered why.

[That means, she likes you, isn't she? You should call her and confess.]

Seohyun was amuse. "How will I confess if in the first place I don't feel anything for her?"

[Hmm... are yous sure? She kiss you right in your lips, you don't feel anything?]

"Aigoo, Nicole. It's just a kiss. Nothing more." Seohyun continue to answer her best friend, sipping with her hot chocolate drink in an early morning.

[What about when you cried all night? you didn't feel anything about it? hehe... ]

"Alright, let me clear this. I never cried for her. Just when did I have done that?"

[Yeah, denials~]

"Hehe... I am not. I am just telling the truth." Seohyun said nonchalantly.

[Oh come on. If I can remember it correctly, you even called your mother in that middle of the night, but it was a sad fate as your mother or parents aren't around yet up until now. Plus, you cried because she really did hurt you for giving you hope that she likes you and that she will confess. You don't remember that too?] Nicole giggles over the phone, totally knew her best friend ever since.

"Whatever Nicole. I really can't remember when. But I did remember I mentioned her to you."

Seohyun stopped at sipping her chocolate drink, pulled off her sunglass and proceeds to stand up, resting her elbow against the railing right away.

[Ugh! fine Miss denial queen.]

"Is it my turn?"

[Nope Not yet. I want to tell you too that... wake up sister!!! you are in love!!! you can't even stop thinking of her! Why can't you stop being such-]

"Alright, I'm busy. Bye~" Seohyun ended the call right away, expecting to hear Nicole's constant reminders to her. She sighed and looked up into the sky.

"Aigoo, this girl..." She mutters, smiling a little.

Ring~~

Seohyun rolled her eyes once again hearing such disturbance. "Look Nicole, I'm busy. I have a schedule to do later-"

[It's not Nicole. It's your manager.]

"Eh? Uh... hehe... I'm sorry Oppa." Seohyun mentally slapped her forehead for having a mistake. 

[Anyway, I called because we have to meet you later today. I got something on hand you will really like.]

"Really? Is that a good news?" The young actress brightens.

[Of course. That's why I need to see you later. Do see me in time.]

Tot-Tot-Tot...

Putting back the phone in the coffee table, she proceeds to walk inside her room. She flop herself in her comfy king size bed with a bounce. Her eyes were on the ceiling autmatically. Mind was somewhere else. 

Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath in and out. In... and... out... she keep the process, until her mind was at peace. Her mind was focus to the things she needed to do.

"Hmm... work... work... and more works... this is it. No more her. It's me against the world. Right, I should see to it that-"

"Miss Seo! Your Ramen is up!"

"Omo! Thanks Yoona... I mean... " Seohyun jolted up hearing the voice. "Hyomin-ah! aish!" she slapped her forehead right away, upon spilling the name. She jump off her bed, running off to proceeds to the dining table.

"Hmm... tastes good. Thanks Miss Hyomin-ssi." She had a bright smile towards her new maid who made it for her. 

"Your welcome Miss Seo." Hyomin replied, bowed for a respect.

"Oh wait, can you call my P.A.?"

"For what Miss Seo?"

"I want to go to the mall before I'll see my manager today. Tell her I need her."

"Right away Miss Seo." with that, Hyomin exited the dining room, leaving Seohyun in her delicious ramen alone. 

As soon as she was left alone, Seohyun didn't hesitate to continue eating her ramen. At first, she was enjoying it with her own in silent, but when suddenly the wind blows in her bare face, a voice joined her.

"Umm, is it that good?"

"Yeah, you did a good job... Yoona... " and she unconciously answered with a faint smile. Her enjoyment to her own bowl of ramen seems better as she continue to hear such voice.

"My pleasure Miss Seo~ I'd love cook this for you~ every time you want it. 

"Yes?" Seohyun snapped out, looking up to see nothing in her side. She dropped her chopsticks as her head turned to her left. She watches as the plants outside were joining the wind. 

"Damn! she forgot to close the window." she sighed, standing up to reach for a glass window in the side and close it gently. She went back to her seat, but this time, she felt empty out of a sudden. Her eyes are on her bowl of ramen, smiling a little to the liquid that relflects her. 

It's indeed over.

But her mind somehow still not over with her. Or morever, her heart?

"Aish! Why did I order ramen in the first place?" asked herself, leaning her back against her chair as she closes her eyes yet again. 

Yoona... Yoona... Yoona... It's all over her mind. She wasn't sure why but she thinks it's because she was disappointed that she lied. Or more like, Yoona somehow gives her hope?

"Aish! stop thinking about her!" ruffling her hair in frustration, she decided not to finish her ramen and called for her maid. "Hyomin-ah! do call auntie too. I want to visit her cafe today!" she shouted, exiting the dining room to go back to her bed room.

Closing gently the door behind her, another defying sigh was heard from her. She gripped into her chest and bit her lip for preventing herself upon rememberring it. However, her instincts made way to the coffee table between her LCD television and her sofa. There, she saw a box. A box that seems so relevant. A box of memories she had with Yoona.

Flashback...

Three days ago...

Nicole was outside at Seo's drive, waiting for her best friend to arrive. She receives a call from her driver, telling her to help with her best friend.

"Where is she?" she whines, having notice the time had already pass for two hours. Just as she complains, a black fortuner pulled over behind her. She never did think twice and runs to the car, helping the driver to assist her best friend.

"Omo! Are you drank?" Nicole gasped in surprised. Though she knows her constant cries every night, it's not an advise for her to drink alone. Let alone, she's a girl.

"Hehe... Nicole. Thanks you're here." Seohyun nonchalantly said, throwing her right arm to Nicole's neck. The latter supported her in difficulties, walking her inside her house.

Inside her room, Nicole was even surprise to see a lot of tissue papers in her bed. 

"Ugh, I'm sorry... for my room... I just don't like to see my room clean. Hyomin will not be working if I stay it clean." She said giggling like an idiot.

"Aigoo, I really don't know why you are like this." Nicole was rather worried with the way she act. 

"Oh wait, let go." Seohyun pushed Nicole gently away from her, and proceeds to walk to her closet. Nicole followed behind, curious as to what will her best friend is going to do.

"What was it?" asked her as she watches her bringing out her luggage, then places it in her bed. The latter sat in her mattress, and so she follows.

"I want to ask for a favor." Seohyun mumbles, opening the luggage in front of Nicole.

"Ugh, what are these?" 

"Hehe... just something to do with her." Seohyun grins.

"Her?"

Seohyun brings out the two leaves that was covered by a paper, showing it to Nicole closely. "This? I remember, we had fun on dry leaves for our camp fire. How stupid am I to even think on picking it up."

"I see... " Nicole nods in understanding, albeit to Seohyun's bitterness.

"And this, aigoo... I even think on telling what my aunt taught me. Hehe... it was the best night I had with her. I enjoyed our good times in a river."

"The wishing in the river?" Nicole knows too well.

"Yeah~."

"What about this... eww... a stick?" Nicole grimace at the small stick in her hand as she took it, because of some dry soil in it.

"That? yeah~ she like to cut woods. But since we use the wood I brought, I decided to pick up a stick. Isn't it cool?" Seohyun laughs, earning a smile from her best friend.

"No not at all. But this waste banana is not even that cool. How did-"

"Of course, I am an environmental friendly, I decided to keep it." Seohyun giggles, grabbing the banana waste.

"I'm impress huh? who's this girl by the way?"

"She's Yoona-ssi. Such a good fan... and... a friend." Nicole smiled at her best friend's little smile too. Because it was her first time to see a drank girl, smiling like an idiot, but a smile that mean something. She could definetely see to it that the girl was something for her best friend.

"So yeah, can you keep this for me? I don't want to see this anymore." Seohyun suddenly pouted.

"Waeyo?"

"Aish! Just kindly keep this, please?" Seohyun whines like a kid, shaking Nicole's arm.

"Do you want me to keep this or you wanted me to throw these silly things." Nicole said as a matter of fact, amuse.

"Aigoo... " the drank lady stared down to the things above her clothes with a defying nodded. "Fine, just keep these things."

Nicole brought her friend for a comforting embrace, totallyknew she needed it by this moment.

"Hyun, don't be afraid to cry. Let that out~"

Seohyun cried but at the same time, vomitting instead in Nicole's shoulder.

Seohyun found herself inside her shower, still thinking on how to start her day yet again. Without her parents and... without the presence of Yoona.

"Right, I have my other friends. Why am I bothered?" she shaked her head, trying to erase the memories in that memory box Nicole give her.

"Quick."

"Wait! Where are we going?" Yoona whispered back.

"Aish! Yoona! It's her birthday today!"

"Is it? But who? Sooyoung? Didn't we-"

"Yah! Yoong! Jessica's birthday." Yuri smack Yoona's head.
