Pay Back Time

[SONE Times Building]

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Hyo squinted her eyes to see no reaction from the girl who is apparently busy with something in front of her laptop. Clearing , "Ahem... ahem... " she intended to put it louder so she could gain her attention again. But to no avail. Hyo puffed and once again knock numerous times. This time, louder and louder that it made Sooyoung outside, looked at her weirdly. 

However, still no response.

Hyo took this as a sign of rejection. She marched her way inside and never hesitated slamming her two hands on the younger girl's table. Too focus, Seohyun instantly jump in surprised. She almost want to hit even the person out of shock, if she didn't just recognized it's Hyo.

"Aish! What do you want?! You almost killed the hell out of me!" Seohyun yelled, holding her chest out of shock.

"So you didn't notice me?"

"Oh gosh, how would I? I'm so busy out here!" Seohyun exclaimed. She reached for her leather chair and continue breathing catching for air she almost lost. Hyoyeon giggle, reaching also for a seat.

"What are you doing, though? Is that for your story? I've heard it will be later." Hyo stole a glance to her wrist watch. Apparently, Seohyun has a one on one meeting with President Kwon, regardless of her story and her work.

"Hmm, quiet... but entirely... nope. It's not about my story." Seohyun flash a bright smile to Hyo, before placing back her two hands on the keyboard and got busy again.

"Eh? I don't understand." Hyo raised one brow, confused.

Seohyun also raised her eyebrows. "You won't understand." without looking away from her work.

Hyoyeon got up, running behind Seohyun. But the latter quickly close her laptop and turned to her, preventing her from getting any peek of it.

"What was inside?" she couldn't help but whine in disapproval.

"I think you just need to go to work now, Unnie. It was nothing." Seohyun said, hoping Hyo's curiosity would die.

"If it was nothing then why are you blocking it from me?" Hyo crossed her arms. She can see through it, the younger one is hiding something.

"That's why I'm not letting you see right? It's just some silly stuff. Come on, Jinwoon will fire you again if you do this. I mean, if he'll see you doing nothing."

"Just one peek and I'll leave."

"I'll tell you eventually, just please leave now. Hmm?"

Hyo puffs, rolling her eyes in the process. "Okay. But hey, I'm here not because of that as well. Gwangju called and they ask if you are available by Friday?"

"No? Why?"

Hyo shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. But I've heard there's this championship match between Gwangju baseball team and another high school team. You bet, they're inviting you to cover it up for them."

"Whoa! That's actually a good idea. Hmm, let me call them back then."

"Yeah, but before that, let me see what's in your laptop." Hyo attempted to push Seohyun away, but failed when the latter quickly run, carrying her laptop. "Okay fine, I give up." she put her hands in the air, defeated. "I'm off to my office now." she gradually reached for Seohyun's head and knocked it hardly, before she run out her office.

Rubbing her head, Seohyun went back to her seat and put her laptop back to it's original place. She opened it up and a huge smile plastered back to her face. Apparently, she's searching for good romantic movie she could buy a dvd, in return to her trouble last night and to her naughty act earlier in the morning. But she doesn't know if it'll be a buy for Yoona or not. Yet, she wanted to try.

Reaching for her phone over the side, she scroll on her conversations in her messages until she stopped at Yoona's name. She opened it up and immediately type a message she send. It took a while but she was happy to see Yoona's reply.

Who are you?

But instead of a normal text, Yoona seemed being playful again. Or was she mad? or what? Whatever it is, she replied.

-It's your girlfriend, Seo Joohyun ^^

Don't tell me you have already forgotten me?

That's so sad :(

Yoona: No way? I have a girlfriend? The last time I remember, I broke up with her.

"Now this is a war." Seohyun smirked, and din't even took a moment as she replied.

-Oh, so we already broke up? Okay. I'm an easy person.

Yoona: Don't start it. You know I was just kidding. hehe ^^

Of course, I know my girlfriend. She's my trouble maker student turned out a writer.

"She's no fun, seriously." mumbled her, couldn't believe Yoona would give up right away. She was about to reply when she received another one.

Yoona: But I'm totally mad at you. >.<

I need to call Kris to help me get off with the handcuff.

You are so dead once I've seen you.

Seohyun giggled, bitting her lip.

-What are you thinking?

- Secret. Just wait and see. Hell Yoona is !

-I'm not going to wait because you are not going to see me ;p

- Serious?

-Yup. ^^

- I thought we've decided that you are living with me for the meantime?

-Change my mind ^^

- I'm sorry but I'm not allowing you. I'm going to see you tonight.

- I said you are not seeing me tonight~ ;p

- Don't be such a toll. I know you are just being playful again.

- Kris won't be visiting the apartment. So No.

Seohyun leaned on her back, enjoying the conversation.

- Whether Kris will be there or not, I'll see you. Araso?

- Give me one reason why should I?

- I'm y, taken, and you know it.

She literally just burst into a tremendous laugh after the last message - quickly gaining the attention of her office mates outside. But after that, she composed herself and type a reply.

- I don't know about this.

But... we'll see. ^^

- What? See? Just do it! I'll be waiting!

I'm off now. I have another class.

"Aaww... such a sweet teacher." she giggles, as she couldn't help and profusely blush. It gives her thousands of butterflies flipping in her stomach again.

"Kyaaaa~ mwah~ mwah~ mwah~" Can no longer take it, she kiss the screen on her phone and squeal like she just fall over to Yoona again. It was just a text, but damn why does she feels like the doe-eyed is just right by her side? giving her thousands of kisses? How she wished the latter would be always by her side. That's not a problem. She'll get to see her later at night again, though.

Going back to her work, she couldn't stop herself from smiling from ear to ear anymore. Imagining things out of sudden helps her search the best romantic movie for her and her oh so sweet girlfriend, Im Yoona.

[Gwangju High School]

After dismissing her 2nd class so far, Yoona make her way inside the faculty room, like a normal day. But once she received a text message coming from the young writer, the smile she keep all through her class appeared again.

- Eat your lunch now.

It's already 12 noon.

One thing that surprised her, Seohyun is so confidence in showing her affection towards her. Unlike the other time, it's too hard for her to even show it. The breakfast, and then now, she was asked to eat lunch since both of them are in respective works.

- Just finished my 2nd class. I'll be doing it later.

How 'bout you? You should eat as well.

- I'm currently having it with my office mates~

The food can't wait baby, so please eat now at this very moment.

"Aww, I feel like Omma is here." Yoona snickered.

- Yes, Ma'am. 

And with that, she got up from her seat and walked out the faculty room, heading to teacher's cafeteria. Along the way, she received another text from her girlfriend.

- That's good. Can you take a selfie of yourself today? 

I quiet regretted that I left the apartment earlie than you.

"What?! No way!" Yoona exclaimed, not liking the idea. She hasn't fixed herself after her 2nd class. It's not a good idea to take a selfie at this time of the day. Instead of a selfie, she suggest other things.

- I'll just send a picture of my food, then you should send me a selfie of yours.

I think that's better.

- What?! Not fair! Hmph. Nevermind.

Not minding of replying, Yoona took her phone back to her pocket and continue her way to the cafeteria, wherein, she was greeted by a pretty mess up wide room. Kyuhyun immediately spotted her and wave to her. In return, she simply smile and headed to the buffet right away. Unlike the usual, she has this big appetite and took 3 main dishes and one side dish. As her desert, she ordered her usual salad and finally join Kyuhyun to their usual table. 

"I've seen what you did there?" said Kyuhyun, pointing Yoona's foods through her lips.

"I just feel like eating a lot today. There's no problem about that, right?" Yoona replied. "And I'm usually have this big appetite."

"Well Yoona, for five years... I know when you have a big appetite and when you don't have. Tell me, is everything official now?" Kyuhyun wiggles his eyebrows, teasing the youngest teacher in their School. He poke her with his fork. "Or is Seohyun playing hard to get?" giggle him afterwards.

Yoona's cheeks brightly flushed, yet, she shrugged as she started to eat her meal.

"Oh come on. You don't know how much it took me a while to convince our head about your leave. Sharing is giving, Yoona." Curios, Kyuhyun groan frustratingly. It's not new for him, but he is always been the first teacher to know this girl's love life. Well, it's only him and her, that she's close with.

"Yup. But at this moment, I don't think-"

"You will share or not? Just say it!"

Yoona chuckles, reaching for her glass of water and take few gulps first before she answered clearly. "I'm dating."

"Omo!"

"Yeah, Seohyun. That trouble maker." Yoona can't believe that she's hearing herself, proud.

"Wow~ So happy for you. When it happened?"

"When we were about to sleep. I made it clear for her."

Kyuhyun's eyes widened. "You guys already did it?"

"What?! Ya!" Yoona literally slapped Kyu on his shoulders. "We just sleep! And nothing more happened. Besides, she has her work so early, so yeah... not more than hugs happened. You're so ert." she was a bit defensive.

"Tsk, tsk. I can't believe you. As far as I can remember, when you and So eun got official, you guys did it the same day you were official. Oh, Holy cow! Yoona, her innocence is rubbing on you, was it?" Kyuhyun chuckled amusingly. 

Yoona rolled her eyes annoyingly. Instead of minding Kyuhyun's nagging, she resume on her meal.

"But tell me, just hugs?"

The doe-eyed girl simply nodded, without any intention of talking anymore. Her cheeks are busy flushing and heart is skipping more beats the more Kyuhyun would tease and question her. Yes it was true that she and So eun did it, but it was purely because they kinda like it both. Realizing that Seohyun is some kind of inexperienced, she knew she shouldn't be rushing her. She's not a ert like kyuhyun is emphasizing. She's a romantic lover, that's all that she had. 

"Aww, that's sad. But I doubt if Seohyun is innocent about it right?"

"Well, Seohyun always catch Luna and Kris doing that in the apartment, so I doubt so." Yoona muttered in response. "Aigoo, why are you talking about this."

"Oh well, this is exciting then. A pro girlfriend vs. an inexperienced one. Isn't that interesting to talk about?" A huge grin can be seen in Kyuhyun's face. Like a erted man.

Yoona so wanted to hit Kyuhyun for thinking about it right away. However, she held herself and simply shrug her shoulders.

"Well Congrats! You surely hit the jackpot. I have to say, she's ier and prettier than So eun." Kyu can't contain his self and share his thoughts. 

Yoona looked back at the latter with a deadly glare. "Are you checking on my girlfriend?"

"Um, to be honest... " Kyuhyun looked away, rubbing his neck. "... I accidentally bump into Seohyun. And hehe, I had a little check on her thighs."

Like an atomic bomb just exploded, Yoona's hand slammed on top of the table, causing for other teachers to looked at their table. Then she grabbed Kyuhyun through his collar, was ready to punch him but a hand prevented her to do so. "Ya! Kyuhyun-ah!!! I'm warning YOU!!!" she could only scream out of anger, while she was pulled away from Kyuhyun who is apparently apologizing to her a lot of times.

She struggle to let go for so many times, but they won't budged - until when she was released, she quickly grabbed her phone on the table and left Kyuhyun their, still bowing to the other teachers.

[SONE Times Building]

After having her good and fun lunch with few of her office mates including Jinwoon and Sooyoung, Seohyun find herself back in front of President Kwon's door. Just earlier, she passed her work and was ask ask to go back to her office after lunch. 

"Oh gosh, I hope everything is fine." quiet nervous because her work depends on it, she felt her heart beating so fast, legs are quiet trembling. She keep on deep breathing to ease them all, but it seems it won't go away right away. So taking the risk, she knock on the door twice.

'That's open. Come in.'

'Omgee. Omgee. Omgeee'.... Her mind is freaking out. But she twisted the doorknob nontheless and peek her head inside. "Can I?"

President Kwon looked up to her and gestures her to take her seat on the couch. A little hesitant and still nervous, Seohyun took a deep breath and make her way in. The boss also got up and together, they sit across to each other.

"So I've read the entire two page of your story." President Kwon started, as she check on the paper her employee passed a couple of hours ago.

Seohyn gulped nervously. "I... I... s-so... wa-what?" 

"Well... " President Kwon slowly shifted her gazes to the pair of eyes before her. "... You said it's going to be the best story, right?"

"Y-Yes."

"Okay, tell me why it should be?"

Seohyun was little taken aback. She raised her eyebrows, confused to her boss' words. "What do you mean? You-you... don't find... Um, nice?"

"I mean, tell me why I should consider this as the best story out of the published stories you've actually done." President Kwon acted cool. Although deep inside, she was impressed.

"Well, It should be the best story because I've put all my soul on it. I mean my passion was on it. I give it all there. Plus, it's-it's... my love story. My first love story." Seohyun shyly uttered her last four words, which is apparently the title of the story. She can't help it and rub the back of her neck, feeling her cheeks hitting up.

President Kwon chuckled at the cute expressions of her writer. She just simply passed the paper back to her and the latter check on her work again.

"No, serious?" Seohyun exclaimed, couldn't believe that there's a four stars on top of the title. Meaning, the boss wanted it to be publish as soon as possible. "You just-"

"I shoul put five stars as well, but I thought there's more stars in the future. Congratulations! You're back to the team." President Kwon stand up and held her hand out.

Excitedly, Seohyun also did the same, as she held the President's hand and shake it really well. "Thank You, President Kwon! This means so much to me. I won't be such a trouble anymore, from now on. Thank you! Thank you, again." her tears slowly dropped out of joy. But since she's in front of the boss, she quickly wiped them off, earning a giggle from the older woman.

"You should go out and celebrate with the others."

"How 'bout you?" Seohyun suggestively answered.

"I'm pretty damn busy here, Seohyun-ssi. I thought you know that?" amuse, President Kwon snickered.

"Yeah. Hehe. Um, Thank you again." Seohyun politely bow for the last time before she gradually left the office and, "Hell Yeah!!! Welcome back Seohyun!!!" she sheepishly scream in celebration. Her office mates got up from their seats and give her a round of a plause, and congratulations here and there.

Out of joy, she started to dance dorkily in front of them. The entire office burst into a tremendous laugh. Including Hyo and Jinwoon, who just went out of their respective offices.

[Gwangju High School]

Yoona is in her last class of the day again when she thought of dismissing it earlier than the original time. Few students were happy but some were wondering why. And that didn't missed Yoona's attention.

"It's because I am giving you guys your time to practice for the declamation I've mentioned earlier. Take this chance and researched for topics in the Library. And to those who doesn't like going to Libraries then I guess it's time to do so. I'm giving an extra points to those who can provide me the author's background as well. So to those who doesn't want to fail, like I told you... we have another next year for English Class." Yoona strictly reminded. 

Groans of frustrations were heard around the classroom, as most of students doesn't actually go to Library. 

"You guys want to graduate, right? Then do as what I am requiring." Yoona said, determined. "See you again tomorrow." she reached for her things and peacefully left the room.

"Teacher Im! Wait up!" But she stopped at the middle of the hallway, upon hearing a familiar voice. "Sulli? What is it?"

"Um, can I ask a favor?"

"Sure, why not?"

"I and Krystal honestly has this plan of contacting Seohyun Unnie. You know, we wanted her to give us some toture about this declamation. Can we ask for your permission?" Sulli seemed hesitant. 

Yoona was a little bewildered, but then again she ask her back. "And why are you asking my permission?" somehow amused her as well.

"Um You know since... you are... " Sulli trailed off, as she wanted to the teacher to get what she meant.

"Wait-You... You know?" Yoona exclaimed slightly.

"Krystal. She happened to be so close with Seohyun Unnie lately. And just now, she confirmed it." Sulli smiled teasingly.

"Seohyun told her?"

"Nope. It was her who ask and Unnie seemed happy to tell her. Hehe... sorry... " Sulli rubbed the back of her neck, a little embarrassed.

Yoona's cheeks reddened, though she acted still cool. "Just ask her if she wants to. You don't need my permission Sulli." she her shoe and walked away. But Sulli followed her again.

"So if Seohyun unnie will approve you will too?"

"Well if she will, then it's not a problem for me."

"Yikes!"

Yoona stopped and turned to Sulli again. "And where do you plan on taking her?"

"How 'bout your apartment?"

"What?!"

"Haha! Just kidding. In the Library of course. But it depends on Seohyun Unnie's suggestion as well." 

Yoona sighed. "Whatever. Just make sure you are not pressuring her. Baby-I mean Seohyun has her work too. Araso?" 

"Yes, Teacher Im."

Yoona rolled her eyes, resuming back on her walk. Can't help and smile - that she almost spill the pet name of Seohyun. 

"Congratulations, teahcer Im!!!" Sulli suddenly yelled, causing for her to stop for a while and students on the hallway looking at her. The latter is making hearts through her head then run away.

"Aish! You're so dead Baby. You're double dead now." she sheepishly said to herself, can't believe that Seohyun shared it to Krystal. She hope those two won't spread it like other teachers' relationship. She shrugged and once again resume on her walk, heading to the faculty room.
