Lucky Charm 2.3

[Han River Filming]

Sigh.

"That's your third sigh since the break time." Seohyun groans, hitting her manager's arm for surprising her in her seat. The latter suddenly pops out from behind, giving her script. 

She pouted, accepting it. "Oppa, Am I doing alright?" she asks, out of the blue.

Manager Oppa moved closer in her seat. "What do you want to hear?" 

"Hmm, just tell me honestly." Seohyun took a deep breath, as her eyes were somewhere to the staffs around. She was surrounded by working staffs of the drama. "I don't think I am?" she took

"What did the director tells you?"

"Hmm? Oh, earlier? He told me I was so immersed in my character? That he gave me a thumbs up. But Oppa, I'm not talking about that. I am talking about me, myself. I mean, how was I am as an artist for you?"

Manager Oppa ruffle Seohyun's hair. He gently pinches her cheeks as well for being so adorable in his eyes.

Seohyun groans. "Aish! Oppa, tell me honestly! The first time you know me, how was I to you?" Her manager giggles, shaking his head out of disbelieve. "Eh? What do you mean?"

"Do you want me to tell you really... honestly?"

Seohyun nods, eagerly wants to know.

"Okay. Honestly, at first, you were not good in my eyes. You don't know how you are actually bossy, demanding, nosy, giving me a lot of headaches... but... it was only at times. You still have this soft side, that would always make me smile every time I see it. Though you were lonely most of the times, I can see how you work so hard."

Seohyun was blank. She hasn't seen her manager that serious. It's the first time.

"... But you know what?" Manager Oppa continued. "After Yoona came into your life, I can see that, that part of you are slowly building into a better and bright attitude. You are becoming so lovely now that Yoona is in your life. You’re always so happy everytime we will talk about her. ”

Seohyun somehow didn’t like the idea. She looked away from her manager’s eyes. Instead, her eyes went to the fans in the side. “But Oppa… I’m not that good to be her girlfriend, am I?”

“Yes? what’s are you talking about?”

Seohyun pouted. “I don’t think I’m worth for her love. I’ve always disappointed her. I’m always hurting her.”

Manager oppa rolled her eyes. “Ugh! What are you talking about? For the past few days, I have never seen any disappointments in Yoona’s eyes. She’s always happy every time you are with her.”

Taking a glance at her watch, Seohyun puffs her hair upon noticing the time. “30 minutes left.”

“Hmm?” Manager Oppa was puzzled. Seohyun’s pout, her sad eyes, her fiddling with her script, it is something he hasn’t seen. “Waeyo?”

“Should I?”

“Yah! what the hell are you up to?” Manager Oppa can’t hold his curiosity, and nudge his artist’s arm. The latter look at him with few blinks here and there. “Did I miss something?” He asked, totally confused.

“Oppa, can you answer my question firstly?” Seohyun requested, as her mind is in between whether she’ll go or not.

“Wae?”

“Just answer it honestly, Okay?!”

“Um, O-okay.” Manager Oppa can only comply, though confusing.

Seohyun briefly smile, before she took a glance to her fans, then went back to her manager. “Oppa, will you hate me if right now, I will ditch the filming?”

“Huh?! What are you talking about?!”

“Just answer me!” Seohyun exclaim, couldn’t wait anymore.

Taken aback, Manager Oppa Nodded slowly, and honestly. “Yes. I will really hate you. Because you broke you promise, that you won’t ditch the drama anymore!”

It was a strong and firm answer, Seohyun had nodded on understand. She took another glance to her fans and waves at them very slowly.

“Yah! You are not planning, are you?”

Seohyun smiled, only. “I am not. Why would I?”

“That’s good.”

“So… you won’t hate me if I do, right?” Seohyun fake a smile.

“Of course!” Manager Oppa jokes. He tucks his artist into his arms, which made Seohyun giggles and immediately pushed him away.

“Seohyun-ssi! We are you heading to our next Location!”

Hearing it, both giggle towards each other. “Shall we?” Manager Oppa got up, offering his hand.

“I’ll work now. No worries.” Seohyun said as she get up and walk to the director, followed by her manager.

In the van, Seohyun however can’t concentrate with the script. She tosses the script on the side just to open the window by the side. She was greeted by a wind, blowing so hard towards her face.

But as she flinch to the wind, she noticed a motorbike that passes at their van. “Was that… Yuri?” she can tell it by her outfit, and so as for her bike. “Where, is she heading?” she wonders. But it only leads to one answer. “Yoona. She must be…

“Close the window Hyun. I think it’ll rain sometime soon.”
