13| Jealousy and Kisses

With one last step, Yoona brace herself. She put her right hand on top of the doorknob and twisted open the door. However, the door was lock. It wasn't long enough and footsteps can be heard inside the room. Yoona assumes the young girl just went out the shower. So she smiled at it. She understands why she locks the door. Maybe afraid to get caught? It seriously made her giggles.

"Babe, its Yoona. Open the door." She called so loud. Placing her ears against the door, she heard footsteps soon approaching her place. A wide grin plastered in her face, excited to see her girlfriend. Its only an hour when she left her in their room after their dinner, with their grandparents, but she misses her already. How much more if they separate? No. Yoona is always positive.

The door slowly opens, in which Yoona alerted and stood straight, her left hand is hiding behind her back, wanting to surprise her. 

"Yoona... come inside, we need to talk on something." Yet, to her dismay, Seohyun wore a serious look and just let the door opens then walk back inside.

Yoona was puzzled for a moment. But she shrug it right after, as she comply and follow Seohyun to the bed. The latter patted the edge of the bed, which she has no reason to reject and settle down next to her.

"Wae?" Yoona immediately turned to ask the young girl.

Seohyun sighed, she suddenly give Yoona's handy phone and says, "Your honey is missing you. Nicole? Who the hell is Nicole?" She surprisingly put her voice high, taken Yoona aback.

"N-Nicole? She-she called?"

"She didn't even call you. She also sent a message. Can you explain this to me?" Seohyun furiously opened the phone and showed the text to Yoona. The deer hesitantly grab her own phone, using her right hand. A rising eyebrows soon appeared in her, when she read the text message that came as,

from Nicole:

Honey, don't forget to bring some products from Italy. Love you~ ♥ kekeke…

"Hehehe.... she's... " Yoona slowly stirred her eyes towards the young girl, but only to see her glaring at her. "... She's just... kidding, Babe. N-Nicole is my best friend! We-"

"OUT!"

"What?"

"I said out here! YOONA!" Seohyun shouted, pushing Yoona off of the bed. Yoona stumble, she almost outbalances, thankfully and she was quick. Yeah, quick from running off the room before Seohyun could kick her off her . And the door that slam so loud in front of her, made her groan in frustration.

"Babe, it wasn't what you are thinking! Nicole is truly just my best friend!" 

"Then why is she calling you, HONEY!!!"

"Oh, she's not yet done with me?" Yoona mumbles to herself. She almost thought she had left the door. "Um, that’s because Nicole always prank me, Babe. You can call and ask her if you want. Pleaseeee open the door babe. I can't sleep outside!!!" Yoona eventually wails, stomping her feet. “You know, It’ll be cold without you. Huhuhu… “

However, the young girl inside seem not hearing her anymore. Yoona pouted sadly. She looks down to her gift, just to heaved a sigh.

"I made you some cake, Babe. I thought you would like to know." She said, loud enough. But to no avail, Yoona drop her shoulders defeated. She her back ready to leave the place when an idea pops out from her mind. She immediately run downstairs, escaping the living room and went outside. She went behind the mansion, so she could stop right there, just in front of the room She and Seohyun are sharing.

She looked up, grinning inwardly when she noticed the lights were still on. Without hesitations, she shouted,

"Rapunzel! Let down your hair! Yah! Seo Joohyun! I'm sorry! I didn't tell you!!!" 

As if it was truly it is, a silhouette starting to approach the balcony. Yoona fixed her smile, waiting patiently for the young girl to show herself in the balcony. 

A few moment passed, Seohyun stood in the balcony, smiling towards her. 

"Yoona, it's me Juliet, not Rapunzel." Seohyun giggles, realizing the scenario. 

Yoona pouted, saldy. "I'm not kidding, Joohyun. I'm sorry, Okay? Nicole is really only a friend. There's nothing between us. She's my prankster best friend. You don't need to feel so jealous, because it's only you, Babe~ it’s only you in my heart, right now, and forever."

Seohyun roll her eyes. Instead of giving in, she challenges the doe-eyed girl. "How much do you love me, Yoona?"

"What?"

"Can you do something for me?" She giggles, glancing at the ladder in the side. Yoona immediately got her hint, and follow where her eyes were.

"You want me to... climb there? Using this?" Yoona ask to confirm.

Seohyun nods and giggles excitedly. "Come on, Yoongie. You can do that, right?"

Yet, Yoona has doubtful when she realized the ladder and how high is the 2nd floor. Her legs started to tremble as she comply, somehow. She stopped in front of the ladder, gulping nervously.

The last time I climb a high place, I accidentally fell. She said at the back of her mind. Yes, she surely remembers how afraid she is at high places. 

"Come on, It's easy Yoongie. I want to see my Romeo climbing the balcony." Seohyun tease, giggling in the process. 

Yoona heaved the deepest sigh of her life, before she braces herself and took one step firstly. Seohyun was up there, staring at her so angelically. 

"Babe, promise if I'll get there, you’ll forgive me, Okay?" Yoona swear, she's going to kick her girlfriend if the latter will not do her favor.

"Hmm, you have my word Yoona. Um, step more." Seohyun replied.

Yoona pouted, carefully taking another three steps. She suddenly looked down which made her looked up quickly, while she hold so tight to the ladder. "Otoke!!! I hate heights Babe~ I hate heights!!!! Help meee!!!" She admitted unconsciously. No matter how much she can be brave at times, there are sometimes, her weakness will always strike. 

Seohyun was taken aback at the sudden cry from the doe-eyed. "You sure?" She got worry out of a sudden, as she can see Yoona is trembling incredulously.

Yoona stopped from taking one step, and nod to confirm her admission earlier. "B-But... I-I... can do this. I can do this, right?" she is nearing to tear up seriously.

"Yes. You can, Yoona. You can." Seohyun beamed, smiling to Yoona. She realized, this could be an opportunity for the doe-eyed to conquer her fear. She herself has, so she wants to see if the latter can do as well. “I do believe you can.” She added, cheering for her.

Yoona once again brace herself and take 5 steps, 6, 7 until 12, as the last step, a proud smile creeps in her face, after she has done it successfully.

“Oh my God, I did?” And she couldn't even believe it.

Seohyun proudly nod her head, giving her girlfriend a hand. The doe-eyed girl quickly grab her hand and step out from it. Seohyun give Yoona a hug, which the latter accepted heartfully.

"So I'm forgiven now, jealous girl?" Yoona ask, chuckling.

Leaning back from the hug, Seohyun stick her tongue out before she runs to the bed and quickly hide inside the comforter. Yoona followed, grinning so widely in front of her.

"Yah! Joohyun! You told me you will forgive me. What are you doing?" 

Seohyun's slowly pushed the comforter off of her, and pouted towards Yoona. She was defeated somehow, so she nod her head to confirm that she has already forgiven her. "But wait, tell me about your best friend Okay?" she added.

Yoona then climb to the bed, and joined her girlfriend under the comforter, before she says, "Jung Nicole. She's my best friend ever since high school, and up until now, we are best friends." 

Seohyun nod her head in understanding. "So that means, you two are so close?" 

"Hmm, yeah... close enough that we always love to prank. She's my sidekick and love adviser, hehe." Yoona replied, proud with her best friend.

"And-"

"Omo! Your cake! Wait, I'll be back." Yoona didn't even let the young girl to react, nor to continue her words when she realized her gift for her girlfriend, and almost instantly she jumps off from the bed and runs off the room. Seohyun was left dumbfounded, didn't catch what did Yoona told her. Thinking that she might had done something, She step out from the
