Never Been Kissed 27
YoonHyun's Story
Yoona's Decision
"Thank you."
Bowing politely to the owner of the room, Yoona proceeds to the elevator, already in a jeans and button up she actually just borrowed to a kind female guest around the same floor where Seohyun's room is located. Upon entering the elevator, she took a deep breath and keep her calm at bay, as she anticipate for the metal door to open. Once it was open, she dragged herself back to the room she shared with her girlfriend.
She knocked twice... thrice... and five times, but all the things she can hear is nothing. It's as if no one has actually occupied the room.
Yoona heavily sighed, knowing too well that So eun must have keep herself in, doesn't have any intentions on seeing her, yet.
"I'll try to come back later again. We seriously need to talk So eun. Please... here me out first." She said and decided to turn on her back. But before she could move towards the elevator again, she paused, if in any moment she could hear her voice. But to no avail, she left, dragging her heavy heart out of the building. For the meantime, she wanted to think for herself and So eun. Not to mention, her confusing feelings towards a certain someone.
While she is walking to a path towards the beach, she suddenly stopped when an airplane paper dropped just in front of her. She looked up and realized that there were some more on the tree she's under. Yoona curiously bend down and picked up the plane paper. To her widening eyes, there's an initial of S.H., which means, the plane is basically from Seohyun?
She gradually opened it and a hand written letter can be read. Reading it made her heart just realized something along the line of,
And to realize, finally, that she is in love with Orlando.
To free both hearts, not in judgment but in equality.
Those lines seemed resembling a double meaning. And the more she think of it, the more she was convinced of her 'real' feelings for that girl. For that crazy girl who came to her life without asking for any permission of barging in. She keep the paper plane and somehow wanted to resume her journey towards the beach.
Even though it's now dark, the lights all over the resort are her way until she reach the beach. Thus, she immediately noticed the people and their noises.
"This must be the event they're talking about."
She entered and was welcomed by a soothing voice along with an accoustic music. She smiled, loving it. Scanning the place, she realized that every costumers are enjoying respectively with their loves ones, or friends. It give her a little warm inside, that love is surely around us. Yet, one more person made her stop momentarily. It was Seohyun. She's apparently on a table, exchanging words with who knows. But she noticed, it looked like a foreigner and that made her a little concern. There's this something on her that she doesn't like the scene - Seohyun, laughing along with an unknown guy. She shrugged, yet, she find herself sitting on a bar, still couldn't take her eyes off the scene. As if they're lovers, she can see them whispering to each other.
Dumb. Yoona muttered under her breath. She was about to signal a bartender on the side when she caught the guy got up from his seat and walked away. She took this chance and briskly rushes to the empty seat across the younger girl.
"Yoona?" Seohyun was stunned by the sudden appearance of the doe-eyed. Not to mention, she's staring at her like she just had a sin. "What are you doing here?!" her voice hitched at the end.
"Who was the guy?" ask Yoona simply.
"What?"
"The guy earlier. It seemed like you have someone as the same image as Orlando, eh?"
Seohyun rolled her eyes, getting the idea. "He is not Orlando, for your information. And..." she paused, looking around. "Where's So eun?"
Yoona sighed at the mention of her girlfriend. "We had a fight." she muttered lowly.
"Oh."
"And it's about the bracelet." Yoona added, not looking to Seohyun. She find herself staring to the same guy that is now sitting on the stage, strumming an acoustic music to the entire place.
"Did she ask about the bracelet?" Seohyun ask in a whisper. Deep inside, she knows it could be about her and the bracelet, which concerned her.
"Nah, she found the bracelet and your letter on the floor... which she thinks I gave the bracelet to you." Yoona shrugged, reaching for Seohyun's cocktail and drank it one go.
Seohyun frowned, quickly stealing her own cocktail. "If you guys are fighting, you shouldn't be here. You should be in her side right now, explaining everything. Please, don't be stupid Yoona. It's enough. You can't let her suffer."
Yoona smiled bitterly towards Seohyun. "You know what? when I knew you were lying to me about your age? I feel like I was cheated too. I feel like I couldn't breath... I feel like my world is going to crash at any moment. And it did. All the things I've planned vanished because of it. You lied and I couldn't accept it. See what you've done to me? But... I don't know what's up with you? You shouldn't have gone here... actually. It's just too unbelievable that here I was... realizing all of these... my feelings for you... never changed... all this time. "
Stunned, Seohyun only blink twice.
"Yeah, from the moment you've spend the entire day with us. I just realized that... maybe, I never really change my heart for you. I thought forgetting you would be really good, but... it seems my heart is just too strong to slap me in the face. It suddenly wanted to run away from you, but... you just keep on appearing. You just keep on reminding this heart - it belongs to you. Like what they said, once your heart had beat for the real thing, you couldn't actually stop it anymore. It hurts. It hurts because I'm hurting So eun through this stupid heart. I'm stupid."
"Well... " Seohyun trailed off, a little hesitant with her words, but she speak nonetheless. "Just keep on staying by her side... you just can't hurt her anymore. It was wrong that you love me. That's all I have to say."
"I'm sorry, though. I know I have already forgiven you but I just can't bring myself and be vocal about it. I'm sorry." Yoona sincerely smiled to Seohyun. She reached for her two hands and hold them firmly, without unlocking her gazes to her. "It's nothing to me anymore. I forgive you... Seohyun."
Seohyun couldn't help herself and really cried upon hearing Yoona's words.
"Omo. What are you crying for?" Yoona panicked. She didn't mean to make her cry.
"You just don't know how much I wanted to hear it from you. Hearing those words just... made me feel at ease... at least... you forgive me now."
Smiling again, Yoona relax in her seat and reach for Seohyun's tears, wiping them off. "I know it was just a job, ya know. But hopefully you understand me. It was a month of fooling-"
"I understand what you mean. You don't need to explain it Yoona."
"Come here." getting up, Yoona pulled the chair with her and pulled Seohyun for a warm hug. She may have hurt So eun, at thhis very moment, but she also doesn't want to see the younger girl hurting as well. If she can only have them both though, but she knows she need to choose one. "But... hyun... I'm sorry... I'm sorry too because... "
"You chouldn't choose me? I know that ever since." Seohyun finished Yoona's words very confident. She pulled back and cupped Yoona's face with her palms. "It's Okay. It's okay... " Even if it hurts.
Yoona let out a tired sigh, as she wipe the tears in Seohyun's cheeks. She didn't say anything anymore, as she pulled Seohyun for a tight hug. Then, she could no longer take it and cry - burying her face to the latter's hair. Her chest is moving in sync to the younger girl's.
"I'm sorry. I'm really so sorry." Yoona mumbled between her cries.
"You don't have to say that. We never wanted this. But if it's for the best... we should forget our feelings for each other. Are you Okay with that?" Seohyun hesitantly stated, rubbing Yoona's back. It was suppose to be her, crying her heart out, but Yoona seemed hurting more than her. She keep on rubbing Yoona's back, hoping that it would comfort her more if she did it little longer.
First love, I hope you die soon. In Seohyun's thoughts, as she close her eyes, not wanting to let go.
"I love you, Hyun." Yoona couldn't help it and utter the three words, but didn't heard anything from her, instead, the music is filling up the air. They're quiet throughout. Just enjoying each other's embrace.

The next day, Seohyun opened her eyes with her heavy eye lids. Last night was really a memorable. She was broken -- but the good thing about it, she heard Yoona, accepting on who she is. She was forgiven. Heck, life still goes on. So she eventually got up from the bed and rushes to her shower. It took another 30 minutes for her to shower and 15 minutes to choose her outfit of the day; black jeans, plain blue shirt and a native sandal. She also had another 15 minutes of her breakfast which in total, an hour after she woke up.
Glancing by the wall clock of her room, the clock strikes eleven in the morning, which means, she actually overlaps on her daily eight hour of sleep. But despite that, she still has this spirit on bringing the day bright. Such as, finding herself in one of the kitchens of the Hotel, asking Hyo over the phone to instruct her the dish she wanted to cook.
[Saute the garlic in oil, then add chili powder.]
Seohyun did as Hyo said. "Then?"
