Knowing her 2.2

"Push up 20. 20 push ups. Just to call her Joohyunnie, even though she won't hear how it sounds like. This is ridiculous." Yoona mumble, still not moving in her spot. She sigh, staring at the girl, all looking so bright with her endless smile. God. Why, I just notice her cheeks? They're so healthy… and so pinkish. They’re not ordinary. She thought at the back of her head. Consequently, she smiled too, as she then stands up and shows a thumbs up. "For the first time in forever, Im Yoona, the great! is going to do it for you... my ever first friend. You may want to ask? I'm Him Yoona back when I was in high school." 

Seohyun, who has no idea what are the words coming out from Yoona's mouth can only think of showing the same thumbs up. She might don't know her words, yet, she certainly knows Yoona is confirming her that she's going to do the task. She felt a little special, though. Every time a person is like that to her. Not to mention, showing such great smile, that means it wasn't just a task?

Yoona crouched down and slowly put her palms on the ground as then, she positioned her lower body ready to do it. She looked up, and meet Seohyun's eyes, causing for her smile to creep once again.

"You know this easy." said Yoona, as she began to do push ups. Even though she did complain a while ago.

Seohyun who was in bench sitting is showing fingers of 7, counting the push ups Yoona is doing. Then, as it passes, she has counted 15 already, through her fingers.

"Aigoo. I thought this is easy." Yoona suddenly stopped, yet, she's still in her position. Her body is in the upper position. Beads of sweat are dripping from her head.

Oh no. I think It wasn't a good idea. Seohyun got worried, seeing Yoona stopped.

Yoona looked up to meet Seohyun's eyes again, while panting. "I think I need a help. Um, will you mind wiping my sweats while doing this? It will really help A LOT. hehe..." Yoona shows a big grin, as she started to do the push ups once again.

Seohyun just stared at her unknowingly. However, she also noticed the people are now staring at them. She doesn't know why, but it made her flush as most of them are smiling or smirking. She felt a little uncomfortable and turned away from the people's eyes. Yoona in front keep on doing the push up until she was done.

"Done." Yoona announced, as she quickly got up and sat down next to Seohyun. She keeps on panting to catch her breath—like she was into run, for how many laps. Seohyun, who noticed, poke at her arm and ask her through her hand languages. Yoona, just stared at her blankly. 

'Aish.' Seohyun mentally scolded herself for forgetting that Yoona doesn't read any of the hand gestures. So instead, she motioned her to stay and quickly leave the place without even telling where she is going.

"Yah! Where are you going?!" yelled Yoona, a little surprised at the girl's sudden leave. She was about to follow when she realized the post it notes on the bench, and her last hand gestures like telling her to stay. Yoona decided to stay, while she looked at Seohyun's back, getting far away from the place she is sitting. 

While Yoona waits, she keep on staring on their post it notes in the bench, seemingly giving the reason for her to smile and adds her bright mood. Why on such earth I'm interested to be her friend? Well, It must be that she's the same with my mother? I don't know. It must also be that she's totally unique, unlike any other girls I encounter in California... or even in this street. She's really so... ugh, I can't think of anything to describe about her, now.

Shortly, Seohyun went back with a bottle of water. But this time, she has hers too. Yoona immediately stood up and grab the bottle from her grasp.

"You should have told me. I would have buy it for you."

Seohyun sat down and picked up the post it note and a pen just beside, as she started to write an answer. Yoona also followed, while her eyes is fixed to the young girl. A few seconds later, Seohyun posted the note in the bench, causing for Yoona to look down and read the message.

Yoona snickered upon reading the message. "Okay." she then complied and open the bottle, as then, she started to drink it. She's really that thirsty too.

Glad, Seohyun took another note and write down her thoughts. Then, posted it in the bench once again.

Yoona noticed that Seohyun posted another note, which made her stop from drinking the water and read the message. Once she has read it, she picked up her own pen and post it note and write also a response. She made a quick eye contact with the young girl before she posted the note.

Seohyun smiled inwardly. She doesn't need to think twice and certainly made a reply.

Yoona giggles. She made an okay sign towards Seohyun, that made her also smile in response and immediately turned away from her. Yoona also looked away and put her gazes back to the river. Yet, she can't help and took also a secret glance at the girl next to her. For yet another record, she asks herself why she's with her. Why she's not with her relatives or whatsoever. But the fact that she felt so comfortable around her, she stopped asking herself and look back again to the river.

"If only you can hear me right now... you would also know that from this on, I feel so good... around you. The fact that you are deaf made it sense. Well, to tell you... Your personally is totally... bright and... admirable. Aigoo, I suddenly forgot about mom's dead." She said, softly, before she took another series of gulps of her water. She pulled away from the bottle and then looked at her side profile. "Why do I seem like... I like to be around you? everyday? Hahaha... selfish."

Seohyun suddenly turned to Yoona and face her. 'Hmm?' and hum by raising her eyebrows.

"Wait. Can you create any sound through your mouth? I mean... like just random?"

Seohyun smiled as she picked up the post it notes and posted it in the bench as a response to whatever did Yoona tell her.

Yoona almost want to laugh at the young girl's question. "Yeah, almost forgot. Aish." she then set aside the bottle and continue with what she had started. Seohyun was on it, and was excited to read another question from her. And as they resume, the fun started. Both can't contain and would always giggle, smile, glance, and even chuckles. They keep doing the 'getting to know each other' game until they didn't notice, the time. It's around 5 in the afternoon when they stopped. Heck, it wasn't because they are tired, but it was because of Yoona's question that made Seohyun's mood down for 30%.

Yoona can't seem to understand, however, she can see her pause after she posted her message. Glancing down, she can see her playing with her pen and the tip of the note.

"What's the problem? Did I... " before she could even finish her sentence, she saw her writing and not even a second, she posted her message.

Along with her message, she heard her letting out a sigh. Yoona's eyes slightly widened after learning. For instance, she felt like she had asked her such a forbidden question. After asking her random things a couple of minutes ago, she come up with a question she didn't expect would make the girl next to her, think. And it even seems to put her mood down? She couldn't figure it out.

Deciding, she wrote also her reply.

Yoona pouted and posted an immediate reply.

Honestly, she felt bad for posting the question. 'Cause now, the smile she saw a while ago is no longer there. She really did regret. Although she doesn't understand, she don't want to be like a rude girl back in California. Heck, Yoona believes she should have gone to school. She looked smarter than her, even.

Seohyun got her pen back and posted another note.

Yoona smiled at the response. Suddenly, in the corner of her eyes, she noticed a guy is holding up balloons. Her eyes lit up as she recall Seohyun likes keroro. And like unexpectedly, there are keroro balloons he is selling to kids. She give Seohyun a 'wait' gesture through her two plams pointing towards her, and quickly got up from her seat, running all the way to the balloon seller in the process. Seohyun her back, blinking for a couple of times.

'What is she doing?' Seohyun thought in her mind.

Yoona immediately went back, carrying one keroro balloon already, causing for Seohyun's eyes to slightly widened. It's her favourite keroro, how does Yoona spotted it quickly?

"Here." said Yoona, handing the balloon.

Seohyun accepted it, yet, shy and tell her. 'Thanks. But you shouldn't have to.' She can't keep her eyes to the balloon, although. And her smile is now showing, as if a kid just being feed by her favourite food.

Yoona just skip her hand languages and sit next to her, so she could post another message.

Seohyun can't help and put a big smile reading the message from the doe-eyed. She can't even believe that she's fluttering, and her cheeks is blushing profusely. 

"Whoa~ That's what am I talking about." Yoona exclaimed, staring endlessly with a smile like an alligator on her face. 

Seohyun turned away from Yoona's gazes and looked at the sun that is starting to set. Yoona in contrast, can't take her eyes off of the young girl, like she's glued to look at her.

6:00pm. The clock strikes. Both didn't know how much it has been since they started spending time with each other. The sun is even starting to set.

Yoona took a quick glance at her wrist watch, and find it's 7:30pm. It was when they arrived in Sunshine Store. Glancing on her right shoulder, another alligator smile plastered in her face, as the  young girl's face greeted her so close to her face. She slightly pinch her cheeks, having been tempted to touch them ever since she has fallen asleep in her shoulders.

Gosh. They're so smooth. Omo!!!! She literally spazz in her mind after she had did it. Her cheeks even blushed as she got mesmerized by those cheeks, and her lips. Yoona gulped nervously and looked away. Freak am I doing? But she looked at her closing eyes again, only to bit her lower lip.

Kyaaa~ this is the reason why I feel like so happy today. She, her with me. Oh Gosh, life seem starting to be fair now.

"Yah! Miss! Aren't you and your friend suppose to get off my car?!"

"Shshshs... don't yell will you?" Yoona immediately shut the driver of the cab.
