Preparations 1.2

What are we doing here?

Yoona just grinned and continue to drag Seohyun in with her, ignoring even that question Seohyun put on her face. She didn't know why, but she felt like buying clothes for the younger one. Yes, she did tell her they'll be on a date, only for their usual clothes, but here she is, changing her mind, as she thought about impressing the board later. But of course, it would, especially for her father, who never cared about her feelings. She keeps on looking around, searching for any good store. Whilst, Seohyun just keep wondering why Yoona is taking her to the mall. All she thought is that, after she changed into casual attire, they'll be immediately heading there. But it turns out, she has another idea running in her mind. Having no clue about it, she just had to trust the doe-eyed girl.

After like forever of searching, Yoona dragged the young girl in a branded clothing line, which almost gives Seohyun a protest. But she doesn't care. She walked over to the clothes and started to choose anything good would fit the latter. Seohyun, she's just on the side, not confident enough to be standing inside a luxurious store. She keeps her eyes still to Yoona's movement, and would follow her from wherever she is going. Until Yoona had chosen one, she almost wants to complain once again. However, the doe-eyed girl is persistent. She was pushed gently into the changing room, and there, she saw herself, in front of the mirror, carrying the dress Yoona handed. It blushes her, for unknown reason, finding the dress to be... y? It's above her knees, which would expose her legs. It's a whole dress to be precise.

'Will I do look good in this?' She doubted. The last dress Yoona gave her, that was pretty much okay because it doesn't expose anything, besides her shoulders. 'Oh well, I would always look good... if Yoona chooses.' she pushed aside the worries and decided to try the black and white dress Yoona choose for her.

A moment later, she went out, searching for Yoona right away. She found her sitting in a couch, reading something on her phone. She slowly walk towards her and stomped her feet gently, so she could gain her attention. Yoona looked up to her, slightly agape. She bit her lower lip, couldn't stare at her eyes. She knows by now, she's blushing with the way the doe-eyed is staring at her.

"You... l-look... so good." Yoona stuttered, couldn't keep her eyes from admiring the beauty in front of her. She noticed Seohyun had blushed. It made her smile, as she got up and put her two hands on her shoulders. Seohyun raises one brow towards her. "You... are... so beautiful." she said, lovingly smiling to her.

Seohyun got those lips and profusely blush even more. Her shoulders were even reddening. Yoona giggles and kissed Seohyun cheeks. 

"We'll get this dress. Wait, I'll pay for it." Yoona slowly guided her hand to Seohyun's and intertwined it. She went to the counter and pay for the dress she's already wearing. But before they could even leave, Seohyun released the hold and rushes to the changing room and picked up her dress she almost forgot to bring with her. Once she went back, Yoona and her left the store, casually.

They're hand in hand, walking in the wall, when Yoona spotted a cotton candy. She doesn't mind how childish she was, and dragged Seohyun with her to the stall. 

"I like blue cotton candy." Yoona cheered, as she ordered two of it. Seohyun, she simply could smile in awe, how pretty can be Yoona like if she acts like a kid. "Here."

Seohyun took the cotton candy and smiled at the doe-eyed. Intertwinning their hands again, they happily skipped all the way to the parking lot of the mall.

While Yoona focuses to the road, while driving, Seohyun is busy also; texting her best friend.

How was the morning with her?

To Best:

It was good. Just like I expected, Yoona, will already be okay by the next day.

from Best:

That's good to know. 

How 'bout you?

To Best:

I feel so good and really, I'm happy spending the day with her.

Like right now.

Best, don't get me wrong, but this kind of happiness is really... amazing.

Hyun, You make me feel so jealous with Yoona right now.

But yes, don't also get me wrong. It's just natural. And I'm happy for you.

To Best:

Anyway, are you at work? Why do you have the free time to talk to me?

from Best:

Yep. I am. But the store is not that crowded. And, there are only few orders.

So yeah, our boss doesn't mind if I sit here, in one of the tables.

How 'bout you?

to Best:

Just like I told you...

We are heading to Im's Company.

She'll be delivering some speech about the turned over of the company to her name.

from Best:

Wow. She's really that rich now, eh?

How about your surgery? I've heard from Doctor Jung that you are meeting her later in the afternoon.

To best:

Yes. I received her text, in regards to the other's doctor's decision.

And they actually decided to confine me early tonight.

from Best:

No? So you are getting the surgery anytime soon?

to Best:

I don't know yet. But I think you have the point.

Sooner or later, I'll get it eventually. My parents already know, as well.

from Best:

And what are their reactions?

to Best: 

They're so supportive. Omma and Appa are even excited to hear me talking once again.

But I told them it's not too soon.

from Best:

Nah, Doctor Jung told me if you can hear again, you have 100% sure you can talk too.

Kyaa~ just by thinking about it, It makes me feel so excited.

To best:

Me too. ^^

Seohyun's moment with her phone and her was interrupted, as soon as she felt that the car had stopped. She looked over to Yoona, and the latter was staring at her too. 'Mwo?' Her eyebrows furrows, wondering why Yoona had stopped. There wasn't any traffic even. They're in the side of the street.

"I just thought of it, shall we continue? I mean... like Attorney Kim has advised me, it's going to change everything. This only means... my world would probably be surrouding about business and stuffs. I haven't thought of this... how about my dream? My goals in life? But I think, it won't happen anymore... right?" Yoona said, seriously. However, she didn't wait for any answers from Seohyun and just drive off again. She had a little smile in her face, when she felt Seohyun is caressing her shoulder. Maybe, a way to show her support for her decisions. "Yeah, I think this wouldn't be bad at all." She sighed, and just continue to drive,determined about continuing their journey to the company. After all, this is where fate is leading her. This is where her mother had put her to.

Seohyun stopped what she's doing and put her attention back to her phone. To her dismay, Yuri sent a message that will end their conversation.

from Best:

I think that's all. I need to go now.

She was about to put aside her phone in her pocket when she saw another message blocked her screen.

from Boss Sunkyu:

Fighting! I'm going later too ^^

She genuinely smiled at the support she received from the latter. She didn't think of anything else and just replied 'thanks' to the latter. She put her phone back again to her handbag, then turned to see Yoona, focused on her drive. Yet, she could see her lips are moving. She's pretty sure, the doe-eyed girl is worried and the same time, she's nervous. Those pale expressions, doesn't deny the fact.

After a while, Yoona finally pulled the car over in front of the Im Corporation. Seohyun waited for Yoona, and the latter opened the car door for her. As she went out, both couldn't react well when suddenly, a group of men lined up and a red carpet was rolled over in front of them.

'What is this?' Seohyun couldn't help and ask at the back of her mind, while she hold Yoona's hand.

"Is this some kind of like... in the drama? Where the chaebol always greets the employee?" Yoona was agape.

Before she could think of anything else, an old man walked up, wearing a smile towards her. Yoona had a little familiarize to the old man. Yet, she couldn't figure, until He stopped just enough distance from them, she has a wide smile to have a clear recognition to the old man.

"Grandpa?" Seohyun arched her eyebrows, as Yoona left her hand and came closer to the old man,so they could hug each other. She just stood there, watching them talking happily.

"How are you doing?"

"You. I think It's me I should ask. The last time I saw you was back in California. I think you just got prettier, huh?" The old man addressed, as He looked at his granddaughter from head to toe.

"Yeah, you're still the joker, aren't we? But I'm glad you are here, grandpa.How was grandma?" Yoona couldn't be happier. It's her grandfather from her mother's side who she only had meet once. But she couldn't really forget him. It made her worries disappeared. 

"Yoona, let's not talk about me, let's talk about you. I've heard a lot about you. Hmm?" Grandpa Im, wiggled his eyebrows, referring to the girl, just right behind his granddaughter.

Yoona stands corrected, as she turned to Seohyun and stretch out her hand to her. The latter took it and step forward so they're next to each other.

"Grandpa, meet my girlfriend, Seo Joohyun. And honestly, she's deaf, so yeah..." Yoona proudly introduced the younger girl to her grandfather.

"Oh." Grandpa, I'm making an O expression. "Just like what I'd expected to be. That's not a problem. Hey, young lady, It's Grandpa Im, Yoona's choding grandfather. Pleasure to meet you." He introduced right after. Using some few sign languages he knew. Yoona was a little amused, her grandfather knows about it.

'Pleasure is mine, Grandpa.' Seohyun replied, before bowing as a respect.

"She's so beautiful, Yoona. Where did you meet her? Huh? You got yourself so lucky "

"Aigoo, Grandpa. Your question is like... " Yoona blushes at the question, and couldn't answer. When she looked at Seohyun, she's staring at her blankly, but with a little blush as well.

Grandpa Im chuckled and give Yoona a pat on her shoulders.

"I'm just kidding." He then gives Seohyun a final look before he turned and gestures them to follow him inside.

With that, Seohyun and Yoona tailed behind him. Yet, being new to her surroundings, Seohyun is shyly walking with Yoona, holding the latter in a tight grip.Yoona has a wide smile, creeping in her face, feeling how tight her girlfriend is holding her. But she surely can understand. To assure her, she rubbed the back of her hand, through her thumb. Holding her like that, just made her more than proud to show to the people around that she's in love with an angelic girl.

Getting into the elevator, Yoona and Seohyun both sigh in relief, as they finally can breath. It wasn't only the employees though. There are media companies as well. So it looks like some kind of a grand welcome for Yoona and Seohyun.

Are you Okay? Tell me if you are not feeling well. Yoona showed a text to Seohyun, using her free hand. The latter is still holding her still. Seohyun simply nodded in response. 

"I'm glad." said the doe-eyed girl, as she tuck the hair behind Seohyun's ear and give her a light pinch through her one cheek. Seohyun smiled at her, and she also smiled back.

This will be quick. We'll go home in a while. Yoona once again shows a text through her phone. Not missing to flash an assuring smile to the younger girl.

Seohyun nodded, understanding. She couldn't help and leaned her head to Yoona's shoulders, while they wait for the metal door to open. Both are staring at each other's reflection through the door, with their bright smile all over the place. 

"Even grandpa praises how beautiful you are... Joohyun. And you know what does that mean? He liked you." Yoona uttered softly.

The elevator finally came to a stop. And just like at the lounge, they're greeted by press. Thanks to the guards, none of them had hurt them as they were guided to a room. Once they were inside, both couldn't help and laugh at what they experience outside. It's like they're some kind of a celebrity. Both couldn't find any words to say, and just sat at the couch, finally settle down from the laughter they had a couple of minutes ago. Both were quiet as they simply their moment by holding their hands and feeling the racing of their heartbeats they're currently experiencing. 

"Anyone?" Suddenly, the door opens, revealing Attorney Kim's head, peeking inside. Yoona greeted him with a smile as she got up, pulling Se
