..:: Sweet and Sour 1.3 ::..

After like seem forever, Yoona and Sooyoung are finally sightseeing their friend, Yuri. The girl is approaching the car with grins across her face. Yoona doesn't like it. She pulled her earphone out from her pocket and began to listen some music. She cross her arms and close her eyes while enjoying them.

Sooyoung who doesn't even give a damn to the guy earlier, just welcome Yuri back to the van.

"How was it? Who is he? How's Joohyun?" Sooyoung excitedly asked.

"He is Nick, and... Joohyun is not okay." Yoona's eyes slightly open to Yuri's confirmation. Lucky and her music is not that loud, that she had heard it.

"Yoong, your ex-girlfriend is suffering from her injured. She needs one week to heal them. Aish! You should've gone inside." Yuri said, tilting her head to Yoona in the back seat. The deer briefly eyed her nonchalantly only.

"Eh?" 

"Yah! What's wrong with you?" Yuri asked for, doesn't like Yoona's sudden attitude.

"Nothing."

Yuri a puzzle brow. "Nothing? Then why are you-"

"We should get back now." Yoona simply mutter. Still, she rejected to give a damn about Seohyun. She thinks if she had followed Yuri inside, it will only give her much pain. 

"You really don't want to see her today?"

"It's enough for me to hear her she's okay. Yuri, drive now. I still have a work tonight."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure."

Yuri and Sooyoung both sigh. "Fine... as you say so."

Yuri complies, but still so bothered with Yoona's uncare attitude. She knows her if she's not in the mood. And shrugging her is the least she can do before she could ask it about.

[Im Residence]

Yoona is back. She's finally back at home after another 2 hours of photo shoot with her models. But her excitements for the said contest had died now. Usually, she would reach home exhaust but still smiling from work, but now as she flopped herself to the couch, her smiles were no longer there. 

"What happened?" And Mrs. Im noticed her. She stirred up to her mother, only to shake her head before she reach for a remote control. Mrs. Im sat next to her, still bothered.

"Something happened, I know you Yoona. Come on, share it." Yoona just simply switch the television on. To her dismay, it's always the younger would appear. She pouted, staring back to her mother.

"Did you guys fought?" Yoona ignores her mother once again. She got up, and walk to the stairs.

"Yah! You two, did?" Mrs. Im shouted, watching her daughter climbing up stairs. When Yoona simply don't know how to answer her, she sighs.

"Yoona, I told you. If she'll hurt you, it's better if you date Jessica." Again, Yoona ignores. She steps inside her gallery, leaving her mother with her disapproval shaking of head.

"Aigoo, she's exactly the same when her father left the house." Mrs. Im noticed it. She remembers, Yoona is as the same right now, when her husband divorced her. Her daughter didn't speak to her for quite a month. If her usual bright side is not appearing, that means, it needs someone to work on bringing it back.

“Should call Jessica.” Mrs. Im didn’t ponder anymore. She hastily grabbed her phone in the coffee table to call for Jessica's presence. 

Little did she know, Yoona had already locked the door in her gallery. The deer girl is in her usual seat again, admiring all the photos around her. It brings back to her memories. Those photos she took were the most perfect for her. For it reminds her first kiss with Seohyun, her first beat of her hearts and most especially, the first time she felt the world is nothing without her. That was the best. She couldn’t forget it. Every photo were thousands of reasons why she loves the girl; her smile, her derp faces, her pouty lips, her puppy eyes, her wink, her shock and her sleeping faces. It gives her such special feelings she know would hard to erase.

 For the nth time, Yoona regretted her own actions yesterday.

Reaching for the projector in the her coffee table, she turned it on, and Seohyun’s video message appeared. It never miss her smile, but a bitter smile this time.

“If only I was careful with words.” she sigh, watching the video with a heavy heart. She turned it off though, as she felt she couldn’t continue to watch. With another heavy sigh, she took her phone out. She scroll down to Seohyun’s number.

She wanted to call her again, but something is stopping her—her guilts inside. It won’t make her thumb to press the call button. However, as her other mind says; Just say Goodnight, she unconciously presses the button.

“Sh*t!” she nearly curses upon realizing what she did. But then again, she had a little smile when it rings. Only that, the next line won’t answer. She ends the call, tossing her phone to the coffee table in defeat.

Resting her back against the couch, she put her two hands behind her head, staring over the ceiling. Yoona swore her heart isn’t complete at the moment. “Of course, she wouldn’t care about me now.” She sighs, closing her eyes. But she opened it in surprise when her phone beeps. Quick, she reach for the device and a wooing message gives her a smile

From Baby Monster: Hey, I’m sorry for neglecting the calls. I’m busy right here.

It’s just a simple message, but the fact that the girl sends her message jumps her heart. She quickly type for a message

To Baby Monster: It’s Okay. How are you? I miss you. TT__TT

However, she deleted the message, thinking twice for sending it. She feels like it’s not Okay to say those words. But then again, she typed another one.

To Baby Monster: It’s Okay. How are you Doing? I heard you are injured?

“That’s better.” Yoona sends it, before she closed her eyes tightly, while she waits for any response. It took a while again to see her message. 

From Baby Monster: I’m fine. No need to worry.

“That’s it?” Yoona complains. It’s only two words, disappointing her. But she eventually replied again.

To Baby Monster: That’s Good.

She wanted to reply about what happened last night. However, she couldn’t seem to send a message about it too. She couldn’t seem to ask about their relationship as well. Especially the guy she saw earlier this afternoon still bothers her. 

From Baby Monster: How ‘bout you?

“What is this? What’s in her mind? Can’t she see? I’m waiting for her to talk about that guy and our relationship!!!” Yoona groans in frustration after reading the message she has read. she couldn’t hold it anymore. She needed to reply the words she needed to. So without thinking anymore further, she typed…

Baby, I’m sorry… It was my fault, I didn't mean to break up with you.

Again she needs to stop it. Because this time, another message pop-out in her phone. And it made her eyes widened, reading the message…

From Baby Monster: What’s your favorite? Sweet or Sour?

“Eh? what is this?” Yoona is amuse. She hasn't heard her asking her likes. For she knows, the girl already knew her? Or is it just her imagination?

Yoona has no chance to assume any further when a message came again.

From Baby Monster: Just want to know ;p

Sigh.

“What’s wrong with her?” Yoona mutters, puzzled. But she replied...  I love both. Sweet and Sour. ♥

“Yoona, Jessica is here.” suddenly, her mother’s voice can be heard outside. She literally dropped her shoulder and pouted after hearing Jessica’s name.

“Open the door, honey.”

“Yeah, yeah, I’m coming.” Yoona answers, tossing her phone to her coffee table.

The phone beeps again, with Seohyun's reply;  Okay!
