Taking Advantage 2.2

[Music Room]

"And thirdly, you are not suppose to go here. Joohyun, this is freaking a School for normal ones!" Yoona said, with a deep hiss. It's the 3rd reason she wanted to tell or scold the young girl for bringing herself in her University. She was panting, totally mad. But she only receive her blank stare at her, having no idea what she had said for the past 10 minutes.

Sighing in defeat, Yoona pulled a chair and sat down. She's facing Seohyun straight in front of her, with her pleading eyes. "Please, don't do this anymore. I don't know what will happen next if this happened again to you." She held her two hands, giving a squeeze to comfort her.

Seohyun slowly released her hand from Yoona's grasp. She brought her bag in front and pulled out the lunch box she prepared for her.

"What's this?" Yoona looked at the younger, confuse. After her lecture, she can only see her giving a lunch box? Didn't Seohyun heard her? Yoona mentally slapped her forehead for the mistake. Out of anger, she really forgot Seohyun is a deaf girl. It didn't take any seconds thoughts and she accepted the lunch box defeatingly. "So you are here for this? Your reason?"

Seohyun brought her phone out and typed her message as quick as possible.

I don't know what you have said for the past 10 minutes but I sense you were scolding me with what happened.

Watching you that worry, made me feel so guilty.

Thank you for helping me out, earlier. I was really scared. But when you came, I know I'll be safe.

Yet, I know I was also a fault of your anger too.

I'm sorry, not only today but yesterday as well. I didn't know how to make up a small mistake, but I hope you could enjoy the lunch I prepared for you. And through this, you will not ignore me anymore.

I'm deeply sorry, Yoona-ssi.

Yoona can't help but snicker at the text she read. She stared at Seohyun, amusingly. All this time, she's still thinking of what happened last night? But here she was, scolding her for visiting her in the University.

"Okay. Give me your phone." Yoona said, as she set the lunch box to another seat, and got Seohyun's phone before she type a quick reply.

I'm still mad at you for ignoring me yesterday.

I thought I don't have a friend anymore.

But you know what's worse?

You got me jealous.

Yes, you made me jealous.

Seohyun squinted her eyes to Yoona, trying to see a reason why she made her jealous. After reading the text, she saw Yoona looking around the music room, not to her straightly. She smiled, amused at Yoona's expressions. She got her phone again and made a reply.

So, what am I going to do to stop this?

I mean, I don't want us to be like this. I thought we are friends?

"You were the one who started this. Babo." Yoona snickered, grabbing Seohyn's phone and was about to type when she realized something. She looked at the younger girl, and there, she slapped herself mentally for forgetting her sweats. She took her handkerchief out from her pocket and gradually reach for her forehead, giving it a wipe. Seohyun almost jump in surprise when Yoona did it. Yet, she quickly realized Yoona is wiping her sweats. So she remaind in her seat and shyly looked away from Yoona's gazes.

"I'm sorry for what happened earlier too. Those students are really inconsiderate." Yoona muttered, as she give her handkerchief to Seohyun now. Then, she brought her attention again to the phone and type her serious response, but with her grin spreading across her face.

Seohyun smiled, feeling thankful with what Yoona did to her. But to her dismay, she didn't know why Yoona is grinning while she's typing a message she doesn't have any idea. 'What's happening to her?' she smiled, amused.

Yoona finished her message finally. She give the phone back and bit her lower lip as she watch Seohyun read her 'long' response.

You want us to be fine with each other again, am I right?

Then if you don't mind, I want us to be a couple.

You know, be my girlfriend Joohyun. 

Be my girlfriend in front of my father's eyes.

Seohyun's eyes slowly looking up to met Yoona's brown orbs. Yet, Yoona slowly averted her eyes away from her. Her cheeks started to turned red, which Seohyun didn't missed to noticed. Her heart honestly skip a beat after she read the response. She doesn't know how to react. She didn't expect the doe-eyed would offer such thing to her, just so their friendship will be back. Or rather, she wanted their friendship to be more than? How did Yoona thought of it? It's totally a surprise to her.

Hastily, Seohyun typed her thoughts and quickly give the phone to the doe-eyed.

Wae?

But to your father?

How come?

I don't understand what you are saying to me.

Yoona's eyes landed back to the pair of beautiful eyes before her. She didn't move, just staring back to Seohyun's confuse eyes. Whilst, her mind is running wild.

 Oh damn. I haven't confess and I'm asking her to be my girlfriend? Babo, Yoong. Aish. What am I going to do? Shall I confess? Or what? But what if she'll decline? It would really hurt me. But I already ask her just randomly to be my girlfriend. Wait, I did this because I am suspecting my father to fix me with this Tiffany Hwang I met last night. Okay. Aish. But I will be so bad if I'll just say I want her and me to be a couple because of this Tiffany. It sounds like I'll use her. While honestly, I like her. This is now or never. I'll just confess though. Then it's up to her if she'll decline or not. Plus, I don't think it will hurt me. Yeah, I should just confess while everything is still Okay. Taking a deep breath, Yoona decided to just confess her feelings. She looked down and was nervously typing her confessions. Yet, at the middle of it, she deleted her message then groan at the same time. She helplessly look at the younger girl, only to see her waiting for her. "Tch, this is my chance, anyway." she bit her bottom lips tremendously, as she resume on her message again. But for the 2nd time, she groaned, and deleted her message.

'What's wrong? You can freely share it to me.' Al though she knows Yoona must have been having a hard time, Seohyun still wanted to know the reason of her sudden offer.

Yoona sighed, defeatingly. Slowly, she give the phone back to the younger and her head hang low, doesn't want to know or see her reaction. She began playing with the hem of her shirt, while she shut her eyes, trying to convince herself that it's going to be alright. Her confessions will not hurt her, she really hope. Her heart is not even helping, as it keeps on beating so fast.

On the other hand Seohyun didn't know how to react watching Yoona hanging her head low after giving her phone back to her. It got her more confuse, seeing her like that. But she shrug it for the meantime, and proceeds, reading the content Yoona typed on her phone, that is meant for her. 

I honestly don't know why I suddenly ask about it....

...But having thought of what could probably the reason, I only came up with three words... Seohyun, I like You.

Seohyun's eyes slightly widened, turning her gazes back to Yoona, who is still hanging her head low, not even caring to stare at. 'She like me?' Her phone drops in the floor, creating a loud sound throughout.

Yoona immediately crouch down and picked up the broken phone, surprised her soul. "What's wrong?" worried, she reach for hand. Yet, it only made her feel how cold were her hands. Seohyun didn't even let her hold long, as she abruptly let go and smiled at her, awkwardly.

Yoona also smiled and turned her attention to Seohyun's phone. It was lucky that the cover of the device was only thing that separated from it. She just fix it back and return it back to the younger girl. Seeing that Seohyun is still staring at her, weirdly, with those little teary in the corner of her eyes. As if she's surprise or anything. Yoona thought it must be because of what she wrote. She sighed and slowly, her cheeks turned to red once again.

Seohyun also sighed. But she take the chance and type something on her phone.

"I-I... do... " Yoona was about to say it that she really like Seohyun, when she stopped because the young girl held her hand and put her own phone on top of her palms. She was confused, and looked at her.

Seohyun just pointed to the phone, asking her to put her attention to the phone. Obediently, Yoona got the phone and opens it. She took a glance to Seohyun before she read her message.

Do you know how to play piano?

Honestly, I use to play them. I miss hearing it.

Can you play for me? 

Yoona doesn't know but she sense Seohyn avoided the confessions she just did. Heck, she understand. She must be still confuse with the sudden turn of events. So taking this as an advantage, She nodded, confirming that she really can play them. Yoona turned behind them and brought her chair closer to the grand white Piano. Before she put her fingers on the keys, she realized Seohyun won't ever hear her play. She turned and snickered towards her. Seohyun smiled at her, genuinely, as if she knows why Yoona is amused.

Yoona then got the phone again and showed a text to Seohyun.

I'm going to play A thousand Years by Christina Perri.

Do you know that song?

Seohyun shook her head.

"Well, just watch my fingers." Yoona chuckles silently as she then brace herself and started to run her fingers in a slow manners before it got a little faster. Yoona's eyes also closes to its own, as she couldn't help and feel the song.

Whilst, Seohyun moves closer, and lock her eyes with Yoona's slow fingers. That moment on, she couldn't help and reminisce the past. Back when she's still this 5, she's always this alone, and only the small piano in her room would always accompany her. Her chest began with heavy, seeing herself to Yoona, playing the piano with a emotions. A biting of the lip can be spotted in her face, feeling her tears are threatening to fall. She gives her best, yet, it still dropped. Especially that she had recalls how much her mother asks her to play piano in front of her friend. Simple, but it stuck her head, because at that time, she would end up crying, for whenever she would decline, her mother would scold and spank her. It really hurts her a lot, inside.

Seohyun can no longer take it and wipe the tears freely dropping in the corner of her eyes, and tried her hardest to keep shut.

She successfully holds it. 

She stayed silent, watching Yoona's face, making a lot of expressions. She smiled, admiring Yoona's features. Her beautiful face. It is undeniably the reason why she couldn't get her eyes off of her. Her heart, that was heavy earlier, turned light, when she realie Yoona smiled briefly. It made her heart skip a beat, and she's sure, she's blushing.

'Yoona has an effect that always made me feel like this. How did I end up falling for this girl? She's so unpredictable... full of surprises. Mrs. Im, you have a kind daughter. You are so lucky.' Seohyun thought at the back of her head. She remained like that, staring dazedly to Yoona, didn't notice how much she doesn't want to end staring at her. And her smile that was creating such romantic feeling all over the music room, while Yoona do the music oblivious with Seohyun's stare at her. 

After 5 minutes of playing, Yoona pressed the last key, slowly opening her eyes at the same time. She blinks for a couple of times slowly, before turning her gazes to the right. She smiled, realizing Seohyun is smiling at her. But that smile soon disappeared, as soon as the young girl had also realized the doe-eyed is staring at her now. She looked down to the piano keys, only to find out that Yoona had already stopped from playing the piano she didn't even know how it sounds like.

Slowly, Yoona reach for Seohyun's phone that was in her grasp and took the chance, so she can say something to her.

I think you like how my fingers move to the keys.

I don't know, but Did I made it right? hehe...

Seohyun smiled, reading the message. She thought for a moment, then replied.

I don't even know the song you were playing.

But I think they are right.

Yoona took this advantage, seeing how Seohyun is happy to see her playing piano, and ask her again.

Will you be my girlfriend?

'Ne?' Seohyun's eyes widened, never thought Yoona hasn't done about it. She sighed and yes, made up her mind, without lies. She took the phone and made her decision.

I also like you, Yoona.

But I don't know if this is going to be alright.

I think I'm not yet ready for this?

Can I think of this, first?

She shyly avoided Yoona's gazes for her, after the doe-eyed had read it. Yet, she couldn't as Yoona held her chin and made her look at her. Yoona's alligator bright smile made her more reason to blush and heated up. 

"Okay. But I don't want to wait for too long." said Yoona, before releasing her hold over Seohyun's chin and took a peek at her blushing cheeks. She couldn’t still believe it, but having known Seohyun likes her too, made her change her thoughts about the latter’s like for Yuri. She really has a chance now.

 Seohyun smiled, so shy, yet, made her heart really beat so fast? She doesn't know what Yoona said, but to see her smile like that, she knows she made her happy.

Taking another advantage move, Yoona slowly crawled her hand to Seohyun's delicate fingers and held her. Her free hand, then once again run through the piano keys. Seohyun was about to let go, but she was defeated when she felt her tightly holding it. Rather, she keeps her eyes to Yoona's fingers, and slowly, holding Yoona's soft hands, genuinely.
