Day 31:

"Sey, can I see the pictures from yesterday?" I asked while we were resting in our dorm.

"Sure, here." She handed me her cellphone. I looked at the pictues from my improvised birthday party and a smile formed on my face. The pictures she took came out really well. I continued browsing through the pictures until they changed to older pictures, from different occasions. I skimmed through them until one particular photo grabbed my attention. It was a picture of one of the notes I got. The blood drained from my face. Why does she have it? Is she related to this thing? Why didn't she tell me she knew?

"Are the pictures that bad? You look like youv'e seen a ghost.." Sey said when she noticed my expression.

"Why do you have this?" I showed her the photo. Her face paled. The magazine she was reading fell on the floor.

"It's.. It's not what you think." She stuttered.

"Then what is it?" I asked again.

"We.. We were just trying to help you, we didn't mean anything bad."

"We?" I questioned. I thought she was doing it by herself.

"Yes. Me, Yongguk and Himchan." She said quietly, not looking at me.

"Yongguk?" I wanted to be sure I heard her properly. Please tell me I heard wrong earlier..

"Yes."

"Your'e lying."

"No. It's true. Please let me explain.."

"He would never do that to me.. He knew how much I suffered lately, there is no way he would do something to hurt me.." I mumbled, mainly to myself. He is not related to this thing, right?

"Hyeri, it's really not what you think." Sey grabbed my arm.

"Stay away from me!" I flinched from her touch.

"You are misunderstanding things."

"Did I misunderstand you knowing about these notes?" I asked coldly.

"No." She lowered her head, embarrassed.

"Then I know all I need to know. Now stay away from me. The only misunderstanding I have with you is that I thought you were my friend." I went out of the room.

"Where are you going?" She called after me.

"None of your buisness."

"." Sey cursed after Hyeri left the dorm. This is bad. Really bad. How could she be so careless?

She grabbed her phone and called Yongguk. No answer. Where the hell is he? Why is he not answering? Frustrated, she decided to call Himchan.

"Honey?" He answered the phone.

"Where is Yongguk?" Sey asked impatiently.

"He went out because he had some errands to run."

"I messed up. Really bad."

"I'm coming over." Himchan said and hanged up.

I wandered around the streets aimlesssly. I just had to arrange my thoughts since my mind was a mess. Sey, Yongguk and Himchan know about those notes. Why did they hide it from me?

I decided to look for Yongguk. I called him, but he didn't answer his phone.. I kept being transferred to the voicemail. I looked for him at the company as well, but he wasn't there either. I was going to give up searching for him when I got a text massage. It was from an unknown number. "Be at ... in thirty minutes. You won't regret it!". I sighed and decided to go. It's not like I have something to lose anyway.. 

Two hours earlier, Yongguk was pacing around his room impatiently. He decided to text Zico. His grudge against him has to be resolved. He typed a massage - "Let's meet up" and waited for a reply. It didn't took long until he got one - "The usual place, you have an hour to get here. Come alone". Yongguk smiled, grabbed his stuff from the bedside table and went out, heading to the designated place.

"What do you want?" Zico asked when he noticed Yongguk standing in the entrance of the old warehouse.

"Stop bugging her. I mean it." Yongguk said and closed the distance between them.

"Why? Are you getting mad?" Zico asked laughing.

"How far are you going to take this? She almost died because of your stupid ." Yongguk raised his voice.

"Well, it wouldn't be the first time someone dies because of you.." Zico retorted. Yongguk clenched his fists.

"What do you want?"

"The truth? You.. Dead. Just like she died."

"She wasn't yours to begin with."

"It doesn't mean I can't grieve." Zico shrugged.

"If I let you beat me up will you leave Hyeri alone?" Yongguk offered. This is his last resort since Zico want him.

"Intresting.." Zico pretended to think about Yongguk's suggestion. "But I'm not intrested. I like it more when your'e suffering continuously."

"You got your chance." Yongguk said and punched Zico's face. Zico fell backwards but got up quickly, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Wrong action, dude." Zico smiled like a psychopath. "Guys, hold him." Three huge guys came inside the warehouse and grabbed Yongguk so he wouldn't be able to move. Yongguk swallowed his saliva. He should have expected it by now, knowing how hot-blooded Zico can be.

"Piece of ." Yongguk cursed and then spat to Zico's direction. He tried to release himself from the guys holding him, but they were stronger.

"I really thought you would be smarter than that, Gukkie. You really fell in my trap quickly."

"How are you so sure I came here alone?" Yongguk questioned, trying to save time so he can figure out what to do.

"Because you always keep your word."

"Son of a ."

"Dino, do you want to start first?" Zico asked the guy that wasn't holding onto Yongguk. The other two guys tightened their grip around Yongguk so he wouldn't be able to move.

"It will be my pleasure." Dino smiled maliciously and got closer to Yongguk. Dino then kicked Yongguk's stomach. It hurt. A lot. His body twisted from the pain, but he forced himself to stay still and endure the pain. He can do it, he just need to think about positive things.. Like Hyeri. Her smile. The way she laugh. Her lips.. The ones he want to kiss so badly. He will do it once he sees her again. Dino continued hitting him, but his mind was elsewhere.

I took a cab to the adress that was written in the text massage. I didn't look at the road since my mind was still busy with Yongguk and the notes. I want answers, and I'm going to get them once I see him. The taxi stopped, and I finally looked at my surroundings. It stopped near what looked like an old warehouse. It was literally in the middle of nowhere. I paid the taxi driver and he drove off. I stood in front of the warehouse, trying to figure out what to do. Why would anyone want me to be here?

My thoughts were cut off when I heard noise coming from inside. I got closer to the warehouse's entrance when I heard one voice I recognize well. There is no way I wouldn't identify that deep voice. At least he is here, now I can talk to him.

"You bastard!" Yongguk cursed. After that I heard him screaming in pain. My heart skipped a beat. What is going on?

I walked quietly to the entrance, trying not to get noticed. I managed to see Yongguk being held by two guys and a third guy was beating him up. Is he in a gang or something? How did he get into this situation? Maybe that's why he told me I wouldn't like the other sides of him..

Yongguk screamed once more, interrupting my thoughts once again. I need to focus if I want to help him and if I don't want to get caught. I looked closely at him. He had blood on his face and it looked like he is hurt in other parts of his body as well. His clothes were partially ripped and I could see he had bruises on the exposed skin. I thought about calling for help, but my battery died in a perfect timing, and besides, I really didn't have anyone to call to since I didn't want to talk to Sey nor Himchan and I didn't want to get Yongguk in trouble if I don't know the whole situation.

The guy who kept beating Yongguk up held a knife and started appraoching him. At that point my common sense left me. I went inside the warehouse and kicked the knife out of the guy's hand and then further away, to the other side of the room. The guy cursed, surprised, and the others looked surprised as well. It was obvious they weren't expecting my visit. I then noticed someone I didn't see earlier - Zico. He was facing Yongguk, but there was some distance between them. It looked like he was watching Yongguk being beaten up like he is watching a show.

"Hyeri, what are you doing here?" Yongguk asked annoyed. Now I could see him clearly, and his condition was worse than I thought.

"I'm supposed to ask you that." I answered annoyed. That is really the only thing he has to say right now?

"Oh, look, the princess came to save prince charming." Zico said mockingly.

"Did you know about the notes?" I asked Yongguk, ignoring Zico. I need to know if Sey was telling the truth or not.

"Yes." Yongguk answered tiredly.

"I hope you'll suffer." I said and kicked his ribs. His body twisted in pain, but I didn't care. He desreved it.

"Looks like we have some lovers fight.." Zico smiled.

"Shut up." I glared at him.

"I'm happy you got my notes. Did you enjoy reading them?" Zico asked, and my blood boiled. I turned around to face him.

"It was your doing?" I asked surprised and annoyed.

"Only mine." Zico laughed, which angered me even more.

I punched his face. "This is for sending me this ." I said and then kicked his groin with all the force I could gather. He fell down to the floor, curled into a ball from the pain. "And this is for touching Yongguk. I'm the only one that can do that."

"She sure is feisty.." One of the guys holding Yongguk commented.

"I wouldn't mind getting her into bed.. She looks like fun." The other one said. This made Yongguk's blood boil. He gathered all the energy he had and elbowed the guy saying that. Afterwards he kicked the other guy.

"Say that thing one more time about my girl and you'll be dead." Yongguk said while the guys winced in pain.

"He is still not answering." Himchan said after trying to call Yongguk for the 100th time now.

"What kind of errand did he run when is phone is closed?" Sey asked annoyed.

"An errand he don't want people to know about and bother him.." Himchan reasoned. Both of them realized what it meant.

"You don't think he would actually go..?" Sey asked worried.

"I don't know." Himchan sighed and messed his hair.

"Let's go." Sey said and grabbed her things quickly.

"Where?" Himchan asked confused.

"The usual place.. If he went to meet him then they are probably there."

They got to the warehouse just in time to see Hyeri and Yongguk trying to fight Zico and three other thugs. They seemed to be struggling, and Yongguk was injured.

"Let's go." Sey said and rushed over to help them.

"I can't fight!" Himchan tried to argue, but no one heard him since Sey was already jumping on one of the thugs and hitting his head. "Whatever, there is always a first time.." he mumbled and went over to the other thug, the one Yongguk was fighting with. Yongguk looked like he needed help, and with his injury he will probably need any help he can get.

"Pretty angry lady, how about we have some fun together?" One of the guys asked while cornering me.

" off." I mumbled while looking around the room, trying to examine my options. What did I get myself into?

"I like bad girls." He smiled brightly.

"Dino, stay away from her!" Yongguk shouted from the other side of the warehouse. Dino? That's his name? How can such a disgusting guy have such a cute and harmless name?

One of the other guys hit Yongguk and he fell to the ground. That guy continued beating Yongguk up in different parts of his body. Oh no..

"You know, from where I come from, if a girl says she is not intrested than it's a no." I heard Himchan's voice, and then I noticed he hit Dino's head with something. Dino fell down to the ground. I added some blows of my own, making sure Dino will take some time to recuperate.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Himchan.

"I have an idiot friend."

"Agreed."

"Watch out!" Sey shouted. She was trying to warn Yongguk from Zico, who was approaching him dangerously.

"I thought I told you to stay away from him, you piece of ." I grabbed Zico by his collar, while Himchan and Sey went to take care of the injured Yongguk. Dino and the other guys were laying on the ground.

"How can you curse like that? It's really not attractive." Zico exclaimed.

"Good, because I'm not trying to impress you." I answered.

"Do you think he will like it?" Zico asked, looking at Yongguk. "Your'e not his type. You will never be."

"Thanks for worrying about me, but I don't need it." I said and punched his face.

"." Zico cursed while glaring at me.

"Thanks, I like you too." I said sarcastically.

"Guys, let's go. There are too many people here, it's getting boring." Zico told the thugs. They slowly got up from the ground, limping toward the exit.

"We are not done." Zico turned to Yongguk before getting out of there as well.

After they left I sat on the ground. I didn't look at Yongguk or Himchan and Sey. I just wanted to be alone.

"Hyeri.." Sey approached me.

"Don't talk to me."

"We need to talk." She insisted. I ignored her and stood up. I went to Yongguk, who was now sitting on the ground as well, supported by Himchan.

"How did you get here?" Yongguk asked the moment he noticed me.

"A thank you will be nice after I saved your ."

"Answer me." Yongguk said dryly.

"I got a text massage to come here."

"From who?"

"I don't know. It was from an unknowm number." I shrugged.

"How can you be this stupid? What kind of an idiot goes to an unfamiliar place because of a text he got from someone he don't know?" He almost shouted, utterly annoyed. Seriously, that's the only thing he cares about? I guess it's really important scolding me after I saved him, instead of being thankful.. Such an .

"You could have get kidnapped, or worse." Yongguk continued scolding me.

"That idiot is me. At least I am being loyal to my friends and don't abandon them when they are in trouble, unlike someone."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Yongguk asked.

"Nothing." I muttered. "Oh, and you can take back your little present, I don't want anything to do with you." I said and took out my phone, seperating it from the phone case. I threw the phone case back at him and stormed out of the warehouse.

"Hyeri, wait up!" Sey hurried after me.

"You stay away from me as well. All of you." I said loud enough for Yongguk and Himchan to hear as well and continued walking. Sey looked helplessly at Himchan, and Yongguk looked more confused than ever.

"I'll go after her, you stay with him." Himchan said and rushed out of the warehouse.

"What is going on?" Yongguk asked Sey, holding the phone case tightly in his hands.

"She found out we know about the notes, but she doesn't know the whole story since she didn't give me a chance to explain anything.." Sey said quietly.

"That explains her reaction.." Yongguk sighed. "She is like an erupting volcano when she is mad.. We just need to wait until she calms down.."

"I'm sorry, it's my fault." Sey said sadly.

"Don't worry, I'm at fault as well.. I should have told her everything earlier, I just didn't know how and I thought I could handle it without getting her involved in this mess.." Yongguk sighed and burried his head between his hands. His hands were filled with blood from the bruises on his face, but he didn't mind.

"Hyeri, wait up!" Himchan ran after me.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly.

"Don't go back alone. Do you even know where you are?" I looked around. Nothing seemed familiar and I didn't pay attention to the road on the way here, so I really had no idea where we were. I shook my head.

"Let's go back together.." he offered.

"I don't want to. You should go back to them, that idiot is hurt and she will have trouble handling him by herself.."

"You should really talk to him, it's not black or white. It's more complicated then you think, and he had a reason for everything. He worries about you."

"So hiding things from me is worrying about me? Good to know." I said sarcastically. Himchan stayed quiet.

"If you are really worried about me then let me go back by myself." I said when Himchan said nothing.

"Fine." he sighed, giving up. "I'll call a taxi for you."
