Chapter 26

Masks

I woke up feeling dizzy. I opened my eyes slowly, scanning the unfamiliar room I was at. I closed my eyes again when the room started to spin. I took a deep breath when a familiar scent came to my nose. It smelled like Yongguk. I opened my eyes quickly and scanned the room again. It was a male's room with two beds. The other bed was empty, but it looked like someone slept there. Another look around the room told me it was indeed Yongguk's room, and the other bed probably belongs to Himchan.

I checked my clothes, but I was wearing a guy's clothes -  a large tshirt and a pair of sweatpants. What the hell happened last night? I tried to remember things from the previous night, but I could only remember what happened until I drank that shot with Sumi. After that everything was blank, like it didn't happen. I can't possibly be that drunk because beside that shot I only drank a can of beer and a two shots of vodka.. It's not enough to get me drunk.

"Hey, your'e finally awake." Yongguk's voice cut me off from my thoughts. He was standing near the door, smiling warmly at me. He changed clothes from last night, and now he was wearing similar clothes to what I was wearing.

"Yes.." I said quietly, staring at the printed sheet on the bed. It had black and white flowers printed on it.. Not exactly what I expected to see on his bed.

"Do you feel better?" He asked worriedly and approached me.

"I'm dizzy.." I said quietly.

"Lie down.." He said and pointed on his bed, signaling me to put my head back on his pillow. I shook my head.

"You drank a lot last night.." He said when I didn't move and approached me a little.

"No, I didn't." I shrugged.

"Do you even remember what happened last night?"

"Well, part of it. I can only remember until we did the karaoke.." I said, feeling embarrased. He didn't respond.

"Oppa.." I said quietly when he didn't say anything.

"What?"

"My.. Clothes.." I said, still not looking at him.

"You threw up on them last night, so I gave you some of my clothes.." I guess I was right, it was his clothes.

"Oh.." My face heated. "Did you..?" I finally looked at him, worried.

"No, No! Of course not!" He panicked a little. "Sey changed your clothes, I wasn't in the room so I didn't see anything, if that's what worries you.."

"Thanks." I said in a barely audible voice. "Why am I here?"

"You didn't want to leave and you made a mess when the girls wanted to take you home, so eventually you and Sey stayed here since you weren't really in a position to move anyway and she didn't want to leave you alone.." Yongguk explained and my face got more and more red. What the hell did I do last night and why can't I remember it? And worse - How am I supposed to face him right now? It's so embarrassing.

"Did she sleep here?" I pointed at the other bed in the room.

"No, I did." He stated. Why?

"She was kind of busy last night as well.." Yongguk said smiling. "And I wanted to make sure your'e okay and that nothing happened to you.." He hurried to explain when I got even more confused.

"Thank you.." I mumbled.

"Are you hungry? Let's eat breakfast.. That's actually the reason I came here in the first place.."

"Yes.." I said shyly.

"Come on, we have lots of food since Daehyun and Himchan have bottomless stomachs.." Yongguk smiled.

"I know.." I smiled a little as well and went after him.

When we got to the living room he signaled me to stay quiet and follow him. On the couch Sey and Himchan was sleeping hugging each other. I smiled. I guess it was a good night for her?

"Do you want to see something funny?" Yongguk whispered in order not to wake them up. I nodded and he signaled me to follow him to the kitchen.

"On count to 3 we make some noise and watch the show." Yongguk explained while giving me two frying pans. He had two casseroles in his hands. We went back to the living room and stood near the two sleeping people. Yongguk counted to three and we made some noise with the things we had. The two of them woke up in panic and Sey fell down from the couch to the floor. She rubbed her leg from the fall and glared at Himchan. She then realized she was sleeping with Himchan and her face got extremly red. At the same time Himchan relized what happened and he started to blush as well.

"Yah, you ert!" Sey shouted at Himchan.

"What ert? I was sleeping soundly on the couch when you came laying next to me.. You are the ert one, not me." Himchan retorted.

"." Sey mumbled.

This whole time me and Yongguk burst out laughing. It was indeed funny watching them bickering and confused.

"What are you laughing at?" Sey glared at me. "You are in no position to laugh at people after last night.." She said and my face became red.

"I'm sorry.." I mumbled.

"I'm hungry." Himchan stated.

"I'll make breakfast.." I volunteered, trying to get away from the embarrassing situation.

"I'll help." Yongguk stated.

Everyone woke up for breakfast and we sat at the table, eating and chatting happily. Even though she was mad at him, Sey was sitting near Himchan, and I found myself sitting between Yongguk and Daehyun.

"I couldn't sleep last night.." Youngjae complained.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because someone had a problem to keep it down while doing adult stuff.." He muttered and looked between me, Yongguk, Himchan and Sey. I blushed.

"That's not us since the only noise you could hear from my room was Hyeri's snoring." Yongguk smiled.

"Yah! I don't snore!" I glared at him.

"Yes you do. I should have recorded you last night.."

"I! Don't! Snore!" I raised my voice a little. "Stop lying."

"But you do.." Sey said.

"Yah! Stop cooperating with him, they will think it's true." I frowned, and Yongguk laughed. What is he laughing about?

"Ok ok, you don't. Happy?" He patted my back.

"No. Tell them you lied." I pouted.

"Fine, I wanted to tease you a little. You don't snore." He gave in.

"Idiot." I mumbled.

"Wait, if its not them.." Jongup suddenly said, and everyoe turned to look at Himchan and Sey, who became red as a tomato.

"You told me it was a soundproof room!" Sey exclaimed while hitting Himchan's arm.

"I lied.." He said embarrassed.

"ert!" She kept hitting his chest and arms.

"I'm sorry I lied.." Himchan said while grabbing her wrists, trying to stop her from hitting him further.

"That's it?" She glared at him.

"No. I like you, ok? I really do." she didn't respond and just stared at him.

"At least reject me properly if your'e going to do it.." Himchan said when Sey didn't say anything.

"I.. Like you too." She said quietly, looking at the floor.

"You do?" Himchan's asked surprised. He didn't expect that since he didn't think she likes him like that.

"Why would I lie to you?" Sey asked. Himchan kept quiet.

"So.. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Himchan asked hesitantly.

"I do." Sey smiled.

"Thank you." Himchan wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"Congratulations!" We clapped and cheered, making them blush even more. They look nice together.

"Thank you." Sey said shyly.

"Be careful from the managers, if they found out you'll be in trouble." Yongguk warned.

"I know." Himchan sighed. "I guess we'll just have to keep it a secret for now.."

"Right." Sey smiled.

I smiled brightly looking at them. It's good they finally confessed to each other. I glanced at Yongguk. He was smiling. He noticed I'm looking at him and winked. I blushed and tore my gaze away from him.

The conversation went on about random stuff. At some point I felt the boys staring at me. It was mainly the makanes, but it felt weird. I suddenly became self-conscious about my clothes and my appearance. I probably look teribble right now, and in addtion I probably look funny because of the oversized clothes Yongguk gave me. I automatically moved behind Yongguk to hide myself. He chuckled and straightened his back so he can hide me better.

"Oppa.." I touched his back lightly.

"What is it?" He turned around a bit so he can see my face.

"My clothes.." I said quietly, and he smiled.

"They should be in the dryer, let's go get them.." He went up and offered me his hand to help me get up.

I followed him closely from behind. He left me in his room to change. Before coming back to the kitchen I went to the restroom to wash my face and freshen up a little. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked terrible. My hair was messy and my face were smudged with makeup. I sighed while trying to fix my appearance. Great job Hyeri, now he won't date you because he saw how ugly you can be, not to mention what you did last night..

I tried to smile while coming back to the kitchen. Everyone finished eating by now and started to dispersed. I offered to do the dishes and again Yongguk volunteered to help me. I was responsible for washing the dishes while he dried them. In the process I jokingly sprayed some water on him while doing my job and he just kicked my  lightly. The second time I did it he warned me it could turn into a war I will regret starting, and I smiled innocently at him. In the third time he closed the faucet and stared at me.

"I warned you, didn't I?" Yongguk asked.

"Your choice.." He said when I didn't respond and then he started tickling me on the sides of my body. I put the plate I was washing back in the sink so I won't drop it and I started running away from him. He ran after me, determined to catch me and tickle me.

Sey and Hinchan sat on the couch in the living room, looking at Hyeri and Yongguk fooling around.

"They look happy." Himchan stated while hugging Sey.

"Yes they do."

"Then how about we let them take care of things by themselves without interrupting them?" He asked while caressing her hair.

"Fine." Sey sighed. "But if he mess up I will kill him and you."

"Deal." Himchan smiled and planted a kiss on her cheek.

After running around for a while I stopped to catch my breath. That was a wrong decision since I was standing in a croner in the kitchen, and Yongguk could easily trap me there. It was a dead end, and it was a little secluded from the rest of the house, so we were practically alone.. I was right.. Before I could react he was there, preventing me from moving.

"I told you it's going to be war.." Yongguk smiled.

"How about a cease-fire?" I offered.

"No. I want to win." He smirked.

"Ok, let's say you won.. Will you release me?"

"Maybe. I actually have something in mind as a reward." He smiled mysteriously.

"What is it?"

"Just something.." He muttered, and I shrugged.

We were standing there silently for a moment, while I'm trapped between Yongguk and the wall. Suddenly he brought his face closer to mine. My heart started to beat faster. I took a deep breath. Before I realized what's happening I felt his lips on mine. My eyes widened in surprise and I froze. I'm not imagining things, right? It feels too real to be just my imagination.. I closed my eyes. His lips were still there. They were surprisingly soft. I wanted to push him away, but my body thought otherwise and kissed him back. I could feel him smiling, and I found myself smiling as well. My stomach was turning upside down with excitment. Yongguk nibbled a little on my bottom lip and then it. In response I his lips, and he opened his mouth a little. My tongue found herself in his mouth, exploring the new territory she discovered. After a while it was his turn to explore mine. My hands were wrapped behind his neck, and his hands were wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him. My mind clouded and I felt like I'm floating in the air with only him keeping my balance. It felt like it was only both of us over there. I don't know if it took a minute or an hour, but eventually both of us pulled back to get some air and catch our breath. My face was red and I was looking nervously at anywhere but him. I could still feel him staring at me.

"So.." Yongguk said, breaking the awkward silence between us.

"Don't ever kiss me again!" I yelled at him after coming back to my senses.

"What?" He asked shocked and confused. That was definitely not the reaction he expected.

"You heard what I said." I said dryly.

"Last night you were all over me and tried to kiss me, why are you acting like a saint now?" He asked, making me blush. Did I really do that last night? Hyeri, how more embarrassing can you get?

"I.. I.. Don't.. Remember.." I stuttered. "And I wasn't in my right mind yesterday, so whatever I did is not relevant." I folded my hands over my chest.

"Fine.." He sighed. "As you wish." He moved aside, letting me go.

I went back to his room, grabbing my stuff. When I came out I searched for Sey. Of course she was attached to Himchan.

"Yah, let's go home, it's getting late." I called for her.

"This soon?" She pouted.

"Yes. I'm tired, I want to go." I said.

"Fine.." She sighed. "Let me get my stuff." She got up and started searching for her belongings. It took her forever to say goodbye to Himchan, but we finally headed home.

Author's Note:

Actually when I started writing this chapter it was supposed to be a little different.. I hope you'll like it anyway :)

By the way, I think the story will be a little more than 50 chapters since I keep getting away from the original plot I had in the beginning, hence the story is also going a little slower than I thought.. It will either have more chapters or I'll just make longer chapters instead.. I'll see how it goes.

Chapter 156: Wow, I was blaming both of them at 1st, as things could’ve been handled so much better on both sides. I loved how Himchan & Sey reasoned with both of them, but Hyeri crossed a line once Yongguk apologized. I didn’t feel she necessarily deserved it, but I knew they both needed it.... sure the way he apologized, did seem like a back handed apology, as her kissing technique could’ve been discussed privately. But Hyeri towards Himchan, she needs to make this better, and of course, he hit below the belt, but she had consistently hit below the belt prior & then to hit him!!! I’m not sure how this is going to turn out, thank you for updating!!

Chapter 156: I still one hundred percent believe that this entire situation is one in which Hyeri is very much at fault. I don’t think Yongguk is in a position where Hyeri requires an apology and I don’t think Hyeri even DESERVES an apology. She completely blew a small and minor incident out of proportion.

I do believe that Himchan went slightly too far with the comment he made however Hyeri shouldn’t have been as horrible to him as she was.

Chapter 155: Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!! I was BEYOND happy to see the update, wow so much happened, where to begin? I see Hyeri & Himchan are still at each other’s throats, I do wish they could get along, and that Hyeri would see the validity in what Himchan said, but no matter what, I think time stopped when Yongguk said Sumi was a better kisser. I felt bad, that super slam, even if honest, that was the time to lie. Especially knowing Hyeri... I was shocked she would kiss him after that was said, and kept thinking why does kissing Yongguk keep coming up, even after he said she wasn’t as good of a kisser. .... sighs, once again, he’s storming out and even with his stupid honestly, I can’t say I blame him. Thank you so much for coming back & for updating,

Chapter 153: Thank you for updating despite your busy schedule. I truly hope that Hyeri is ok! She let a lot of things off her chest the night before, and while I do wish she would've thought of the impact her leaving like that would have, I hope they catch her in time before she does something that would change all of their lives. Regarding the comment I just read, there's a difference between constructive criticism & just plain being rude. While it's true, being factual or doing some research on weightier subjects is a good rule of thumb, most of us are adults that don't use fanfics as our barometer of social issues. Assuming what someone's language is, was completely unnecessary to state. You don't have to read the story, if you're a writer, you should understand what it takes to create, upload & continue a story remembering details from previous chapters...etc. If you're not a writer, perhaps you should put yourself in the author's shoes before you begin.
