Day 5:

I walked into the gym. I thought I would be there alone, but Sumi was there. She didn't really talked to me since I got here and I barely saw her as well. She is always practicing until late and we have different schedules in the rest of the time.

"Hey.." I approached her. She was sitting on one of the benches and she looked a little pissed to see me. Maybe it was just my imagination..

"Hey." She said dryly.

"I barely saw you around.."

"I'm practicing, unlike you.. Seem like you have a lot of free time.."

"Just beacause I don't stay up until dawn doesn't mean I'm not practicing."

"Well, some people get it easy, while others have to work their  off in order to get to the same place.."

"Maybe you should work on your attitude before working on your skills.." I mumbled.

"I don't need your advice, honey. Just do what you have to do and ignore me.." Sumi stood up and started packing her stuff. After that she turned to leave.

Well, my first conversation with her didn't go well..

Day 7:

I think that the weekly evaluations went well. The other girls are talented as well, and the other trainees seem to be doing fine..

In the evening Jinu wanted to talk to me and Sumi.

"Hey girls" Jinu smiled when both of us got there.

"Hey.."

"Hyeri, how is it going so far?"

"Great." I smiled.

"Look, girls, you know the monthly evaluations is in two weeks.."

"Yes.." Me and Sumi said unanimously.

"We want the both of you to do a dance together.. It's in addition to your individual dance. You can do what you want with it, we won't interfere. If you need help you can ask Gun, he will gladly help you."

"Can I change partner?" Sumi asked immediatly.

"No. It's an order from above."

"But.." Sumi tried to protest.

"No buts." Jinu cut her off. "We changed your schedule accordingly, so work hard and we are looking forward to it."

"Fine." Sumi sounded annoyed, and I don't understand why.

"Ok." I tried to smile.

"Great, Then I will be leaving you to talk about it.." Jinu said turned to leave.

"So.. What do you want to do?" I asked when we were alone.

"I'm not working with you." She said dryly.

"You heard him.."

"Yes, but he doesn't have the last word." She sounded confident.

"Fine, do whatever you want.." I gave up.

Jinu walked into the CEO office.

"How was it?" The CEO asked when Jinu sat in front of him.

"Well, Sumi doesn't seem to like the idea.."

"I thought so.." The CEO sighed. "She probably feels insecure right now."

"So what do you want to do?"

"Leave it like this. I want to watch them together so we can see who is better. And Sumi need to be more confident in her capabilities."

"If that's what you want.."

"Just make sure they are doing it and they have everything they need for that."

"Yes, sir."

"What's wrong?" Sey asked when she saw my troubled face at the dorm.

"Nothing.."

"It's not nothing if your'e looking like this.. Did you get scolded?"

"No, but it feels like I did.." I said quietly.

"Well, I have something to cheer you up." Sey smiled brightly.

"What is it?"

"B.A.P are having a comeback next week and we are going to their showcase.."

"Really?" a smile slowly formed on my face.

"Yes. I'm so excited.." Sey beamed.

Day 10:

Sumi didn't come to our dance practice and she didn't talk to me either. What's wrong with this girl? It's not like I did anything to her..

I did see her go out of the CEO office after lunch, but she just ignored me as usual.

Day 15:

The day of B.A.P showcase arrived. The showcase venue was full with excited fans, and I was excited probably just as much as they were. After all, it's the first time I meet the boys in person.

"Come on.." Sey asid and took my hand.

"Where?"

"Backstage. Don't you want to see the boys?" She questioned.

"Of course I want to, but can we?"

"Obviously, stupid. It's their showcase." She dragged me with her to the backstage.

It was a little chaotic because the stuff ran around all over the place in order to take care of things. I spotted the boys immediately. They look so good in suits. They were getting their hair and makeup done.

"Guys!" Sey shouted to get their attention, still holding my hand. B.A.P smiled when they noticed her.

"What do you want, nuisance?" Himchan jokingly asked while approaching us.

"Have you met the new trainee already? This is Hyeri." She said proudly. Himchan examined me.

"So the rumors were true.. You really are pretty." Himchan said with a bright smile, making me blush.

"Your'e hopeless." Sey sighed. "Are you really going to flirt with every trainee in the company?"

"I'm not flirting, I'm complimating her." Himchan played dumb.

"T.. Thank you.." I managed to say, stuttering a little. "You look good."

"That's a given, I always look good." He said, and Sey rolled her eyes. "Thanks for the compliment."

"Who is she?" Daehyun approached us as well after he finished his makeup.

"The new trainee.." Himchan answered.

"Pretty.." Daehyun mumbled.

Slowly the other members gathered around us as well, all except one - the one I wanted to meet the most.

"Where is Yongguk hyung?" Jongup asked after looking around, reading my thoughts.

"Probably with the manager going over some stuff.." Youngjae said.

"Girls, we need to go sit since the boys are going up in a few minutes.." Jinu appeared.

"Fine.. Good luck, guys!" I said and smiled warmly at them.

After Sey finished talking to them as well we went with Jinu to find our seats, in the second row.

The show was amazing, as expected from B.A.P. Their new song is daebak and very catchy.

Day 17:

"You won for now.. What do you want to do?" Sumi appeared in the practice room while I was talking to Gun. It was actually our time to practice together, but it was the first time she showed up.

"I don't care, we can do whatever you want."

"Let's do ballet.." Sumi offered, hoping I would decline or just fail at dancing.

"Are you sure? It's a little boring just doing ballet.."

"Are you scared?" She questioned.

"No. I can handle it, I just don't know if they will like it."

"Sumi, You know it's not fair.." Gun tried to say something.

"Why? She can dance ballet."

"Yes, but you know it's not the purpose of the evaluation.."

"So what do you want to do?" Sumi asked me.

"Hip hop or pop if you are fine with it.." I suggested.

"I can't dance hip hop." She said dryly.

"Than what about pop? We will meet in the middle."

"How about you mix the two?" Gun offered.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Sumi will do ballet and you will do hip hop. Let's make it an interesting dance battle since you two have different styles. We can add pop at the end so you can dance together if you want."

"I don't know.." I mumbled.

"I'm fine with it." Sumi daclared, and she and Gun stared at me for confirmation.

"Fine, let's do this." I smiled. Gun and Sumi smiled as well and we could finally start working on our dance.

Day 21:

The day for the monthly evaluation finally arrived, and I was nervous because it was my first time doing this.

Everyone gathered in the big practice room in the second floor - trainees, staff, the CEO, B.A.P and other personnel of the comapny.

I was happy to see B.A.P, but it added a little more to my pressure since they never saw me sing or dance and I wanted to leave a good impression on them. And besides, I have the dance I prepared and I wasn't sure if they will like it.

Everyone sat on the floor and every trainee went up in their turn. Singing was first.

I glanced at the boys a little to see their reaction to the performances. They smiled brightly when poeple did well.

My turn finally came and I took my place in front of everyone. I started singing "Return" By Lee Seung Gi and I hoped I wouldn't start crying while singing it because this song always affect me.

I looked at the boys while singing. They listened carefully. When the song ended there was a smile on their faces. That is a good sign, and it made me happy.

"Good, you can go back to your sit." Hyerim said smiling. Another positive sign.

The vocal part ended and it was time for the dancing. Yujin didn't do that well, but Gun said she had improved since the last time, so it was good.

"Sumi and Hyeri." Jinu called when it was our turn.

We took our places, and Sumi started with her ballet routine. I watched her while she was dancing. She looked fierce and determined to do well. She is a good ballerina and I'm lucky we didn't do only ballet because I would have lost to her. After that was my turn and I did the best I can with my hop hop routine.

When Sumi turn came next, daggers flew out of her eyes. It was intense and felt like an actual battlefield and not like a fun dance battle. Oh well, I'm not losing to her. If we are playing like this, I can do it as well.

It was hard not to notice the tension between the two girls. B.A.P looked at them curiously, waiting to see how it will end.

"Why is Sumi doing ballet? I thought she stopped doing it for a while now.." Youngjae wondered.

"This is her strongest dance style.." Daehyun said.

"Shh!" Yongguk shushed the talkative boys before they will blab further and distract him from watching the girls.

"She is pretty good." Zelo commented when Hyeri turn came, and the boys nodded in agreement.

"Girls are scary." Jongup muttered when he saw the daggers shot from the girls eyes and the tensed atmosphere between them. It was obvious they don't like each other and that it was a real competition.

"very scary." Himchan said when Sumi pushed Hyeri backward and she stumbled to the floor. It was crystal clear that it was a strong push and that it wasn't supposed to be like that.

"Ouch!" I whined when my body met the floor and I grabbed my hurt ankle. Sumi was supposed to give me a little push at the end of our dance, but it wasn't supposed to be that strong and I wasn't supposed to lose my balance and stumble like this. 

"Are you ok?" The other girls rushed over to see if I'm fine, while Sumi just stood there.

"I think so.. It just hurt a little." I rubbed the place, trying to ease the pain.

"Can you stand?" Jinu asked worriedly.

"Yes.." I said. Sey and Eun Hee tried to help me stand on my feet, but my ankle refused to cooperate, and I fell down crying in pain.

"I think it's a bit swollen.." Jinu said after examining my ankle. "Yujin went to get the nurse, she should be here shortly."

"What about the dance?" I asked.

"You can't stand properly, how do you want to dance?" He laughed.

"I'm sorry.." I said quietly.

"Yah! Why are you apologizing when that person over there should be the one apologizing?" Sey said and glared at Sumi, who was just standing there.

"It's not my fault she can't fall properly, It was part of the routine." Sumi said calmly.

"It was supposed to be a small push, not throwing her away to the other side of the room.." Sey contined to argue.

"It was a small push!" Sumi started to get annoyed.

"How is that small? She can't even stand."

"Sey, stop it." I said and pulled her hand in order to get her attention. I didn't want to make a bigger mess out of it.

The nurse arrived and examined my ankle. She think I twisted my ankle when I fell down. The nurse put some ice on it and recomended to go to the hospital to make sure it's not something worse. Just great.

The hospital said it's nothing serious and luckily it's not a sprain. I have to rest for a couple of days and put ice on the hurt ankle. I also got a pair of crutches to help me walk until I can stand on my leg again. It's better then to always lean on someone.

When I got back to the dorm the girls were already there, waiting for me.

"How is it?" They all questioned, except Sumi who was still quiet.

"It's not a sprain, and I need to rest."

"Crybaby. Just admit you did it to get attention." Sumi muttered.

"Would you stop? It's your fault, don't make it worse." Sey shooted, and Sumi kept silence.

"How will you sleep? You can't go up there with your ankle.." Yujin asked.

"I will switch with you until you feel better" Sey volunteered immediately.

"Thank you." I smiled at her. I'm lucky she is here. 

The girls were making dinner in the kitchen while I laid down in bed.

Sumi entered the room and looked at me. I looked at her back, waiting for her to speak.

"Be careful, unni.. This is just starting.."

Author's Note:

I'm sorry, I know I'm lame, but it just turned out like this.. I will try to make the next episodes better.

I'm stopping with the day count for now, so the next episodes will look like the first episode.

There is a lot of Sumi, but she makes the story more intresting.

There will be Hyeri-Yongguk interactions, although I don't know yet when it will happen (it depends on how the next chapters will go).
