"I finally found you, little sister.." Hyesung said and the blood drained from my face.

My brother. My big brother.

"Did you think I wouldn't find you? It took me a while, but I'm here." he smiled brightly. I clutched Yongguk's arm, digging my nails in his skin.

"I don't know you." I stated, trying to steady my shaking voice. I don't need him in my life, especially not now. I'm doing fine on my own.

"Are you still going to pretend we are strangers? Don't you feel sorry for mom and dad? They have been going crazy since you ran away from home.." he approached me slowly. The smell of alcohol got stronger with every step he took towards me.

I took a deep breath. I'm not going to let him affect me. He is probably just bluffing.. That's what he does best.

"You are drunk." I said, unintentionally digging my nails deeper in Yongguk's arm.

"That's all you have to say?" Hyesung laughed dryly. "Of course you'll never admit you were wrong, you are just stubborn like this. You always were."

"I don't know who you are and your'e drunk. I have things to do, so if you don't mind I'll be leaving." I turned around, my back facing him now.

"You'll regret it, Riri. I'll reveal everything about you!" he threatened, raising his voice. I froze when he used that nickname. I think the last time I heard him calling me like that was when I was a kid. It was when he still cared about me, before everything happened. I could feel a tear making its way down my cheek.

"Don't cry, Hyeri. He is not worth it." I reminded myself.

"I'm sorry, sir, but you'll have to leave." a security guard appraoched Hyesung, trying to grab his arm. Hyesung released himself from the guard's grip.

"I'm not leaving until she talks to me." Hyesung declared. I turned back to him.

"We have nothing to talk about. You had years to talk to me, but you didn't even try to check if I'm fine and if I'm still alive. You lost your chance, so don't look for me again. You are dead to me." I said coldly, glaring at my brother.

"Hyeri.." he called softly.

"Don't try to act like a brother all of a sudden, it's pathetic." I scoffed.

"Sir, you need to leave." the security guy told Hyesung.

"I'll go on my own." Hyesung said and turned to look at me. "We are not done yet, little sister."

Yongguk stood quiet the whole time, watching the interaction between Hyeri and that guy.

He could see Hyeri was uncomfortable because the color disappeared from her face and she clutched his arm a little too tightly. He didn't mind because he wanted to be there for her and it didn't hurt that much, but he was still curious. And worried.

From their conversation he could figure out that this guy was her brother, and his fists clenched. Hyeri barely talked about her family and he didn't want to interrogate her because it was a sensitive subject to her, but from the little he knew, that guy was an .

Yongguk examined the guy quietly. He was skinny and tall and his face reminded him of Hyeri. He was dressed sloppily and he reeked from alcohol. From the way he stood and talked he was obviously drunk.

"I'm not Riri anymore." Hyeri's voice cut Yongguk off from his thoughts.

"Riri is dead, along with the rest of my family." I whispered, trying to convince myself. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath when I felt a soft touch on my arm. I opened my eyes and saw Yongguk looking worriedly at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.

"Of course I am." I tried my best to smile, even if it was fake.

"Babe.." now he put both of his hands on my shoulders.

"I'm fine. He is just drunk. I don't understand how he managed to get in here in the first place.."

"Are you sure your'e okay?" he asked again, hesitating.

"Stop treating me like a porcelain doll, will you?"

"Alright." he sighed and moved his hands. Now I noticed he had red marks on one of his arms.

"Did I do this?" I asked and pointed at the newly made marks.

"It's fine." he hid his arm behind his back, far from my sight.

"Let me see." I pulled his arm to examine it. It was me, I can see the pattern left from my nails. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

"Hey.." Sumi approached Hyesung on his way out.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"If you want to talk to Hyeri, come to the company tomorrow at 19:00. She should be free because we finish our schedules before that." she said and walked away before he could react.

20:45.

"Girls, get ready, we are already late." Jinu said. 

"Yes, oppa!" we choired together.

"Hyeri, we have a long talk afterwards." he said before walking away.

"Are you okay?" Sey asked, looking worriedly at me. All the girls and the staff saw my brother and the conversation we had, and from their looks I could tell they had a lot of questions, which no one dared to ask.

"Yes." I smiled. "Let's debut!"

"Is everything okay?" Jongup asked Yongguk when he took his seat in the crowd.

"Yes, don't worry." Yongguk smiled.

"Why are they late?" Zelo asked.

"They had a small problem backstage, but it's all resolved now."

"Good, those two idiots over there were having a hard time amusing the audience.. They are just embarrassing!" Youngjae complained while looking at Daehyun and Himchan that were standing on stage and trying to buy some time for the girls. Yongguk chuckled.

"Girls.." Sumi said when we waited backstage for our turn.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Do you think there are going to be people in the crowd?" she asked shyly. Actually, it worried all of us. What if nobody comes?

"Of course." Sey said, smiling. "And if not, we still have our family and friends and probably some reporters as well. We should give them our best performance because they came to see us."

"Alright." Sumi seemed to relax, just like the other girls.

"Girls, your'e up." Jinu informed us. "Break a leg!"

"Ready?" I asked the girls before we walked on stage.

"Yes." They beamed.

"Let's do a cheer before we go on stage!" Yujin offered.

We put our hands together on top of each other.

"What should we say?" Eun Hee asked.

"Mint forever?" Sey offered, and we glared at her because of the ridiculous idea.

"Do you have a better idea?" she exclaimed. We shook our heads.

"Let's do what she suggested." I said.

"Mint forever!"

"So, basically that is the reason we are here today." Daehyun finished his story.

"Liar." Himchan . "He begged to host the showcase, they just didn't let him."

"Anyway, I think we can finally start!" Daehyun exclaimed and the two males got off the stage.

Music was starting to play and it was our sign to start. The first song that was played was our intro - "Peppermint".

We had different outfits for the first part of the showcase, which included short jeans in different designs and nice tops.It was more casual and not a uniform like our debut song clothes.

We did our song like we rehearsed and it went smoothly. We heard applause when we finished. We still stood in our ending pose and now we could see the crowd. It actually had people beside the reporters and our guests.. The hall was full. There were even people holding signs with our names on it. I think all of us could breath in relief, knowing people still came.

"That was a really good start." Himchan came back on stage, smiling. We smiled shyly and stood normally. "How about you introduce yourselves?"

"One, two, three." I counted, like usual.

"Hello, we are Peppermint and we are going to refresh your day!" we greeted and bowed. Each member introduced herself and we took our seats on the chairs the staff brought on stage in the meantime. Himchan sat on the opposite side, holding his cards in his hands.

"You have a really unique name." Himchan said, trying not to laugh.

"Yes, we do." I said, smiling.

"What did you think of the name when you first heard it?" he asked.

"We didn't like it." Sumi admitted shyly.

"I can see why.." he said and the crowd started to laugh.

"Well, afterwards the PR team explained to us the meaning behind our name, so we learned to like it." Sey said.

"Why did they choose this name?" Himchan asked.

"We want to create fresh music." I answered.

"Well, your first song was refreshing indeed." he smiled. "It's an introduction to your group, right?"

"Right. It's the intro song for our album. We wanted the people listening to it to get to know us a little better. The song is supposed to show our uniqueness and to let each member shine." Eun Hee said.

"That's great." Himchan smiled warmly. "How about you show us your next song?"

We stood up and stood in position. The music started to play and this time it was "Mystery Guy". When we finished we sat back down and talked about it shortly. Afterwards we did the boy groups medley.

We sat back in our places to continue the talk segment.

"Who is your favorite group?" Himchan asked.

"Girl groups or boy groups?" Yujin asked.

"Both." Himchan answered.

"For me it's B.A.P for boys and Oh My Girl for girls." I answered first.

"Why?"

"Oh My Girl because I like their concepts.. It's always unique. And B.A.P because I like your music." I said shyly.

"So you are a baby?" he asked.

"I guess.. I was more of a casual fan before I came here, but now I treat you more like friends and sunbaes." I answered while blushing.

"What is your favorite song?" Himchan's gaze was focused on me. Why is he asking so many questions about it? I'm pretty sure it's not written in his cards..

"No Mercy." I admitted.

"And your favorite member?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Sumi snorted.

"Why are you asking me this?" I frowned. "Ask the other girls about their favorite groups."

"Alright." he smirked." Eun Hee, what about you?" he turned to look at her.

"I like 4Minute and Big Bang." Eun Hee answered.

"I like 2NE1 and Dynamic Duo." Sey said.

"Beast and Infinite" Yujin said.

"Block B." Sumi answered last.

"We have diversity I see.." Himchan smiled. "And Hyeri is the only one that cares about us.." he pouted.

"We see you all the time, so the magic is gone.." Sey joked and Himchan glared at her.

"Your next song is 'Hunted', right?" Himchan asked, playing with the cards in his hands.

"Yes." Eun Hee said.

"Please tell us about it."

"It's a ballad about breaking up and coping with it afterwards." Sumi explained.

"Did you experienced it in the past?"

"I did!" Sumi said and I was grateful because that way I won't have to answer. I need to avoid all the subjects about dating and breaking up in case I'll accidently say something wrong.

Sumi continued talking and when she finished we performed the song. When we were done we changed clothes, preparing for our title song. 

While we were changing, Himchan talked about several things regarding our album and debut and he bought some time for us to change.

"This is the most important song because it's our title song, so let's hope we'll get good responses for it." I said when we finished changing. We were now dressed in our cheerleading uniforms with our pompoms ready.

"Let's do our best!" Sumi exclaimed.

The music started playing again. We took a deep breath and did the song like we rehearsed. When we finished we heard applause, but it was weaker than before. I tried to ignore it and smiled while taking my seat.

"Drink some water, you worked hard." Himchan gestured to the water bottles resting near our chairs.

"Thank you." we bowed shyly and drank. It was refreshing.

"The song is catchy." Himchan commented. "You chose it, right?"

"We did a vote and this song won 3 to 2." Sey explained.

"I see.." Himchan muttered. "This song talks about a girl trying to steal your boyfriend."

"Yes." we nodded.

"What would you do if it happens in real life?" he asked, looking curiously at us.

"We have a couple of lines in the song that says 'I'm a nice person, don't turn me into a witch. I can be an angel and I can be a devil'. For me, those lines describes it perfectly. I won't let her go easily if she messes with my boyfriend." I answered.

"So will you turn into a witch?"

"I don't know if it's to that extent, but I'll definitely make sure she knows the guy is taken. If normal ways won't work it might escalate.." I said innocently.

"Creepy." Sumi mumbled.

"Looks like Hyeri is getting ready for a war.." Daehyun teased Yongguk.

"I'm fine with it." Yongguk grinned from ear to ear. Truth is he likes this side of her.

"What would you do if it was the opossite and guys would hit on her?" Youngjae asked.

"I'm skipping the 'nice guy' part.. The guy will only meet my devil side."

"I will also make sure she realize he is taken." Sey said when it was her turn. "I'm more the possesive type towards my boyfriend, so I will have a hard time accepting a third party." she said while looking at Himchan.

"Your boyfriend must be happy you like him so much." Himchan said, trying to keep a straight face.

"I guess.." she shrugged. "I'm not dating at the moment, so it's more hypotethical situation."

"Next question, who is your ideal type?" Himchan changed the subject quickly and turned to look at me because I was sitting at the end of the row.

"Bang Yongguk." I said quietly, blushing. The other girls giggled.

"What do you like about him?" Himchan asked, and I glared at him.

"Are you doing a matchmaking event, what's with this question?" I protested.

"You don't need my help for finding a date, do you?" he smirked, ignoring the death glares I was giving him.

"Stop getting me in trouble!"

"Alright. So what do you like about him? it's a given you need to explain why you chose him."

"He has a good heart and he is hard working and he knows what he wants."

"That's good." Himchan smiled.

"I like Kim Woo Bin!" Eun Hee said when it was her turn.

"He looks like a dinosaur! Why does she like him?!" Youngjae complained from his seat.

"Are you jealous?" Daehyun smirked, watching the younger male. The others turned to look at him as well, grinning.

"No." Youngjae scoffed. "It's just not right. Besides, she said she liked me."

"Who cares? Most of the celebrities don't actually mean it when they answer this question.." Yongguk claimed.

"Easy for you to say, your girlfriend chose you."

"Are you dating Eun Hee noona?" now Jongup asked.

"N.. No. Of course not!" Youngjae exclaimed.

"Your'e hopeless.." Daehyun sighed.

"My ideal type is you, Himchan oppa." Sey said shyly.

"You are just saying that because you want to flatter the MC, right?" Himchan .

"Yes." she smiled brightly.

"Alright. Yujin-ssi?" Himchan turned to Yujin.

"Ok Taecyeon." Yujin said.

"Why?"

"He is handsome and he looks like a good guy."

"I see.."

"I like Yongguk as well." Sumi said, and I glared at her.

"Yongguk is popular with the ladies.." Himchan smiled.

We did the girl groups medley and then the remaining songs -"Dreams" and "Sunshine". We talked about them and afterwards there were questions from the reporters. They asked all kind of things about our group and we tried to answer them.

"Before we finish, do you want to say something to your fans and the audience here?" Himchan asked. The girls looked at me, waiting for me to go first.

"Thank you for coming and we hope to see you when we promote. Our refresheners, we love you. Please go home safely." I said and bowed. The other girls bowed as well.

"Alright. Now we'll finish with your title song."

"Wait!" Eun Hee said.

"What is it?" Himchan asked.

"We want to say a few words before it." Eun Hee said and we nodded.

"We want to thank Himchan oppa for hosting our showcase. He helped us a lot because we were stressed and nervous." Yujin said.

"And we really hope you enjoyed our show tonight. If you liked our music please buy our album!" Sey said.

"And don't forget we have a countdown stream on v-app at 23:00. We will be answering your questions and talk more about our album. We will wait with you until the MV is out at midnight." Sumi said.

"Alright." Himchan smiled. "Now, let's hear your title song again" he said and left the stage, letting us do our song.

22:00.

"We made it!" Eun Hee exclaimed when we sat in the dressing room, getting ready to go back to the company.

"I know.. It was fun!" Yujin joined her.

"Hey, girls." B.A.P stood in the entrance.

"Hey.." Sey smiled and my gaze wandered to Yongguk. He signaled me to follow him and I did as I was told.

In the hallway I jumped on him. He hugged me so I won't fall and I leaned my head on his shoulder while my legs were wrapped around his waist and my arms moved to wrap his torso.

"I missed you." I mumbled, burying my face in the fabric of his shirt. His scent is so relaxing.

"I missed you too." he said and kissed the top of my head.

"How was it?" I looked up at him.

"You did great." he smiled and leaned his forehead against mine, our noses also touching.

"Our title song is bad." I said while closing my eyes.

"It's catchy.."

"Don't lie." I got down, releasing my grip on him.

"Babe.." he hugged me again.

"What?" I buried my eyes on the ground, moving my feet nervously.

"I'm proud of you." I finally looked up. He was smiling, trying to reassure me and show me he is sincere.

"I'm not proud of myself." I mumbled.

"Then you should be." he poked my forehead.

"How is your arm?" I tried to change the subject.

"Great." he smiled. "How are you?" he examined me and I knew what he meant.. My brother.

"Great. It was nothing to be worried about, he is not part of my life anymore."

"Are you sure you are okay?"

"Yes. That person doesn't exist." I insisted.

"You know you can talk to me, right?" he caressed my cheek gently.

"Yongguk, drop the subject." I said dryly, moving his hand. I don't want to talk about it, no matter how much he tries to convince me.

"Fine." he sighed. "I'll come pick you up when you finish doing the stream, okay? I have something for you." I nodded. He kissed my forehead gently and went back to the dressing room to get the rest of B.A.P. I followed him quietly, staying a few steps behind.

"Is everything okay?" Sey asked when she looked at us. Now the rest of the people in the room paid attention to us as well.

"Sure." me and Yongguk said together.

"Girls, we need to go, you have to get ready for the countdown." Jinu popped up near the door.

"Yes, oppa." we choired.

"Hyeri, stay here for a couple of minutes, we need to talk."

Mine is Yongguk (surprising, I know) and "No Mercy" because it was the first B.A.P song that really got me hooked and I have a special affection for it no matter how much I love their other songs. And the song is awesome :)
