Chapter 147

Masks

"Eun Hee." Youngjae called.

"What?" she turned her head to look at him. They were currently watching the ostriches at the zoo.

"This is for you." He took out a dolphin doll from behind his back and gave it to Eun Hee.

"A dolphin?" she asked, confused.

"It reminds me of you." Youngjae said and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. This is weird and embarrassing. Is it supposed to be this awkward?

"And why is that?" Eun Hee asked curiously, hugging the doll tighter.

"Yah, you brat. Is this a sophisticated way to get compliments?" he teased, ruffling her hair.

"No, I'm really curious!" she claimed. "It's the first time I'm being told that."

"Well, you are social and smart like them." Youngjae finally managed to say something. "And you're really cute."

"Thank you." Eun Hee blushed.

While the two were busy talking they didn't notice the ostrich approaching them. In one swift move the ostrich grabbed the dolphin doll Eun Hee was holding and ran away, leaving Youngjae and Eun Hee flustered. Eun Hee stared blankly at her empty hands, not knowing what to say.

"Did he just stole.." Youngjae mumbled awkwardly.

"My dolphin.." Eun Hee pouted.

"I'll get you a new one."

"It's not the same." She claimed, still pouting. It was the first gift Youngjae gave her, how could that ostrich take it?

"I'm sorry." He quickly apologized.

"It's not your fault."

"Seriously, how could that thing steal your doll? It's not even edible."

"Maybe the ostrich was jealous.." Eun Hee offered and Youngjae chuckled because it seemed like Eun Hee's mood was improving.

"I'll buy you something else, better than that dolphin doll." Youngjae ruffled Eun Hee's hair.

"Promise?"

"Yes."

"Thank you."

"Let's go, before his friends will search for things to take as well."

"Come in." the CEO said when there was a knock on his office's door.

"Excuse me." Jinu opened the door, entering the office.

"Can I help you?" the CEO lifted his eyes from the papers in front of him.

"There is something I need to tell you."

"Sit down." The CEO pointed at the empty chair in front of his desk and Jinu took his seat. "What's wrong?"

"We might have a problem."

"What kind of a problem? Did Hyeri cause trouble again?"

"It's related to Hyeri, but it's not Hyeri's fault." Jinu said and the CEO sighed.

"What did she do this time?"

"Looks like her brother is trying to cause trouble again."

"What does he want?"

"Money. He is addicted to gambling and alcohol and there are people after him because he has a lot of debts." Jinu said.

"Then give him money. And add it to Hyeri's debt to the company. It's not our problem." The CEO said dryly.

"But it's not Hyeri's fault. She didn't keep in touch with him since she left home. And I really don't think it's a good idea to give him money.. He will just come back asking for more."

"Then what do you want me to do?" the CEO glared at Jinu.

"There has to be a way to take care of this without giving him money. Don't you have connections? Maybe we can warn him or something.."

"My connections.." the CEO clenched his fists, "Are not meant for this nonsense. And you know well enough that everything has a price, so if I'm going to ask for their help I'll have to sell Hyeri's body in return. Do you want that to happen?" he stared intently at Jinu, who froze in his seat.

"Can't you.. Find a way?" Jinu stuttered. "It will be worse if her brother starts talking.. Who knows what he might say."

"You did a background check on her before we accepted her to the company, right?"

"Yes. I couldn’t find anything besides her being born to the wrong family.. They are really bad."

"Then we have nothing to worry about." The CEO smiled and it scared Jinu. "Don't do anything."

"Sir!"

"Whatever he says, we'll just deny it. No one will believe him anyway since he is an alcoholic."

"I really don't think it's a good idea."

"No one asked your opinion." The CEO said venomously. "Now if there is nothing else, you can leave."

"Yes, sir." Jinu stood up, bowed, and left the room.

"Babe, how about we'll go to the exhibition today? We can still make it if we'll leave now." Yongguk offered.

"Do you want to?" I asked.

"Yes. And you are still buying dinner afterwards." He poked my forehead.

"Alright, just let me grab my things." I smiled.

~

"I'm tired." Yujin flopped down on the floor in the practice room.

"How are you promoting if you are getting tired so fast?" Jongup pondered. "You need to work on your stamina."

"The promotions are actually the reason I'm this tired. It's really tough." Yujin bit her lower lip, slightly pouting. Jongup stared at her, finding it adorable.

"It's almost over." He tried to cheer her up.

"Yeah.."

"Here, take this." Jongup handed Yujin a bottle of water.

"Thanks." She grabbed the bottle, twisting the cap. "Aren't you tired?" she asked curiously, staring at Jongup. No matter how much he practiced, he didn't look tired at all. He looked as energized as he was when they started dancing.

"I'm fine. I enjoy dancing, so I don't see it as a burden. It's my passion so I'm not tired even if I'm dancing for hours."

"I wish I could be the same."

"I'm sure you are like that with other things.. There has to be something that you're passionate about."

"There is something like that." Yujin smiled. "For me it's playing the guitar."

"I would love to see you play sometime." He said and Yujin blushed.

"I would love to play for you." She said shyly.

"I can't wait."

~

"I had fun today." Eun Hee said when Youngjae walked her home.

"I had fun as well."

"Thanks for fulfilling my wish to go to the zoo."

"I would love to fulfill your wishes in the future as well." Youngjae said and Eun Hee blushed furiously.

"Thank you."

The two of them kept walking silently to her dorm, holding hands.

"Then I guess we should end the day.." Eun Hee mumbled awkwardly when they reached her dorm.

"Enjoy your evening." Youngjae said.

"You too." Eun Hee said.

Both of them stared at each other, not saying anything or moving. They didn't want to go home. Youngjae his lips nervously and that was when Eun Hee decided to make the first move and kiss Youngjae. Her lips touched his and he smiled. Her hands moved to cup his face while his hands moved to her lower back. Their lips moved in sync and both of them tried to savor the moment. They separated to get some air, both of their faces flushed.

"So.." Eun Hee said awkwardly.

"So.." Youngjae did the same.

"I should go. Goodbye." She waved and entered the building quickly. Youngjae sighed and left, heading home.

In the apartment, Eun Hee leaned against the door, sighing heavily. "Why am I such an idiot? I shouldn't run away like that. We're dating, it's normal."

"At least you know that you are weird." Sey teased, getting out of the kitchen. Eun Hee's face became redder.

"It's not funny." Eun Hee pouted.

"What's wrong?" Sey sat on the couch, staring at Eun Hee curiously.

"I feel embarrassed after we kiss so I always run away because it's awkward." Eun Hee admitted, sitting next to Sey.

"Sorry, I can't relate to that." Sey said dryly. "You should talk to Hyeri about that."

"Great." Eun Hee sighed. "You are really helpful." She said sarcastically.

"What? My relationship with Himchan is different and I'm not the type to get embarrassed and shy like you and Hyeri do." Sey claimed. "I am helping you by telling you to talk to Hyeri. You two are similar so she can probably help you better than me."

"Thanks anyway." Eun Hee muttered.

"Yah." Sey poked Eun Hee's arm.

"What?"

"How does he kiss?" Sey asked mischievously. Eun Hee's face flushed.

"That's personal." Eun Hee claimed, flustered.

"At least tell me if there was tongue involved!" Sey exclaimed.

"Shut up!" Eun Hee started hitting Sey with a pillow. "I'm not talking about it."

"Then I guess it's a no."

"It's not that! I just don't want to talk about it, you ert."

"So there was tongue involved." Sey smirked, happy that Eun Hee revealed the info.

"Sey!"

~

The exhibition was beautiful. I'm not that interested in art but I had to admit it was pretty. Yongguk looked very interested in the paintings and it made me happy. We held hands the entire time and it felt like a real date. For several hours we could pretend we are ordinary people enjoying a date outside, without the fans and the media. It felt amazing and I knew that I had to treasure the experience because who knows when we'll be able to do that again.

"I had fun." I said when we left the exhibition.

"Wasn't it boring for you? You told me that you don't like art.." Yongguk asked.

"No. It was really good, and seeing you enjoying so much made me happy."

"I had a lot of fun."

"I'm really happy to hear that." I smiled.

"Next time we'll do something you want to do."

"But you are paying for the next date." I said and Yongguk laughed.

"No problem." He showed me his gummy smile.

"Should we eat dinner?"

"Yes. Choose the place."

We entered a restaurant close to the exhibition's place. Yongguk was a gentleman and opened the door for me, making me smile.

"Thank you, sir." I tried to look serious but my smile betrayed me.

"Everything for the company's princess, right?" he teased, closing the door after me and following me inside. The place was decorated simply but beautifully.

"I wish I was more than that."

"You are, at least for me."

"Yongguk oppa!" we heard a feminine voice when we almost reached the empty table we spotted. The restaurant was quite crowded so there weren't many empty tables.

"Yongguk." Now the feminine voice had a face. She looked familiar, like I've seen her before, but I couldn't remember where we met.

"Hello." Yongguk greeted her and bowed. I did the same.

"What a coincidence that I'm seeing you here! I only see you during schedules.." the girl pouted and now I connected the dots. She is probably a fan.. She could also be a staff from a broadcast station or something but I should have seen her often if that was the case so she must be a fan. I was relieved that Yongguk and me weren't holding hands or doing anything suspicious at the moment besides being together. We don't need rumors about us dating going around..

"Yeah.. How are you, Sera?" Yongguk asked politely. I could tell from his tone that he was not happy meeting her but he still tried his best to be polite and respectful.

"Please make a comeback already! I miss you." She asked and I felt a pang in my heart. It's another reminder that it's my fault. I tried to keep a straight face so she and Yongguk won't notice.

"We are working on it, but it's not up to us." Yongguk said.

"Oppa! Why are you together with her? Are you dating?" Sera asked. When she said the word 'her' her voice revealed her discomfort from seeing me with him.

"Yah, be respectful." Yongguk scolded. "We are just having dinner together."

"Are you working on another song together?" she asked. This girl is starting to annoy me.

"We are not allowed to talk about it." I said before Yongguk replied.

"No one asked you." Sera rolled her eyes and I tried to stay calm. Seriously, what's wrong with her? She doesn't even know me, and shouldn't she be respectful just because I'm with her favorite idol? She can hate me, but being rude to me in front of Yongguk is just stupid.

"Sera." Yongguk said in a lecturing tone. "You are invading my personal space because you are disturbing me on my free time and you also have the nerve to be rude to the people I'm with."

"Oppa! I didn't mean to!" she whined cutely. I wanted to laugh at her fake act but I stopped myself from doing so because it will only make things worse if I did.

"I am always nice to my fans and I'm fine with unplanned meetings like this, but don't cross the line."

"I'm sorry, oppa."

"Apologize to Hyeri, not to me." Yongguk ordered dryly.

"I'm sorry, Hyeri." Sera apologized and bowed.

"It's okay." I smiled.

"Go have dinner and go to sleep early. Don't stay outside late because it's dangerous." Yongguk gave Sera his gummy smile and she smiled happily.

"Yes oppa. Enjoy your dinner!" she said and quickly left.

"That was .. Interesting." I said after she left.

"I'm sorry." Yongguk apologized.

"About what? It wasn't your fault she was rude.."

"She is still my fan."

"And? You are not responsible for their actions. Besides, you handled it amazing."

"Thank you." He smiled shyly.

"Let's sit down." I said and we finally settled in one of the empty tables.

A waitress came with menus and left after placing them on our table in order to give us time to go over it. I stared at my menu blankly.

"What's wrong?" Yongguk asked when he noticed my expression.

"It's nothing."

"Hyeri.." he sighed. "Talk to me."

I placed my menu on the table. "It's just that this fan might go online now and post that she met you and that we were together. What if people suspect there is something going on between us?"

"We can go on a friendly dinner, you know. We are in the same company and we worked together. Besides, we didn't act like a couple when she saw us, so she might not suspect anything."

"You know it doesn't work like that.."

"What do you want to do? It's already done."

"What if I post a picture of us together and act like it's a friendly dinner? This way we will have more control because I was the one uploading the picture and it's not like we were caught.."

"Do whatever you want to do." Yongguk shrugged. "I think that my fans will be fine with this either way.. The majority of them are mature, unlike the one we just met."

"Do you think it's a good idea to upload a picture on our own?" I asked hesitantly. I don't want to make things worse but I don't know what to do. I'm inexperienced and he knows his fans better than me.

"Upload it if you want to be safe." Yongguk smiled and I was relieved.

"Okay." I smiled shyly. "I'll take pictures after we'll get our food."

~

"Are you hungry?" Jongup asked Yujin when they finished practice.

"Yes." She admitted shyly.

"Do you want to eat something together? We can order a takeout."

"Sounds great." Yujin smiled and Jongup found himself smiling as well.

"What do you feel like eating?"

"Chicken!" she exclaimed happily and Jongup laughed.

"Then chicken it is."

~

We got our food and I took several pictures of it. After that I filmed Yongguk.

"What do you think?" I showed him the picture on my phone. He stayed quiet while I was waiting for a response. When I looked up I noticed that he was staring at me instead of my phone screen.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

"You." He replied without tearing his gaze away. I blushed.

"Be serious." I scolded. "What do you think of the picture?"

"It's fine." He said after looking at it for a few seconds.

"Okay." I said and turned my attention to my phone.

"What do you think of this caption?" I asked before uploading the picture.

Yongguk stared at the screen. He read the text: It has been a while.. I'm finally treating @bangstergram to dinnerJ.

"It looks okay to me." Yongguk said dryly.

"It's not too much?" I asked. I was still worried.

"No. Just upload it." He goaded.

"Okay." I said and did as I was told. "Done!"

"Can we eat now?"

"Yes."

"Good, because I'm hungry." Yongguk said and I laughed.

"Enjoy your meal."

"You too."

~

"How is your voice?" Narae asked Daehyun when they cuddled in front of the TV in her home.

"It's getting better because I'm trying to rest and not overuse it, but I still want to practice more.." He replied, hugging her tighter.

"You should rest. Your voice and your health come first." She kissed his nose.

"I know. Let's watch the action movie you wanted to watch?" he offered, smiling.

"Don’t you want to watch something else?" Narae asked. "I know that you prefer watching other things.."

"No. I want to watch what you want to watch." Daehyun replied, making her smile.

"And you won't regret it?" she teased.

"No."

~

When me and Yongguk finished eating I decided to check my notifications. A lot of people liked the picture and I got several comments on it. I moved closer to Yongguk so we could read the comments together. He leaned in so he could see the screen better and his breath tickled my neck.

"You are too close." I teased.

"I thought you love me being close to you?" he asked, staring at me.

"I do, but there are people here and that fan might be spying on us.."

"You watch too many dramas." He poked my forehead.

"Never underestimate your fans, especially not after all the riddles you give them as teasers." I retorted and Yongguk laughed.

"Alright." He smiled and moved a little backwards, increasing the distance between us. He was still close enough to see my phone screen but I didn't feel his breath on me anymore. "Better?"

"Yes." I smiled and both of us read the comments. All the comments were nice except for one that called me an attention seeker that is using Yongguk for attention.

"Just ignore that idiot." Yongguk said when he saw me frowning. "You have to get used to people like that.. It's part of our job."

"No. I'm going to reply." I said and started typing an answer: When did I? I rarely upload pictures with him and the other members, even if we spend time together.

"I'm proud of you for standing up for what you believe is right." Yongguk said while staring intently at me. "And it's kinda y as well.." he added and I hit his shoulder.

"You are blushing.." he teased.

"Shut up." I muttered, embarrassed.

"But seriously, a confident woman that knows what she wants is extremely y."

"Where did you see this kind of a woman?" I asked and pretended to look around us.

"Right in front of me." He said while staring intently at me. Yongguk placed his right hand on mine and I could feel my heart skip a beat.

"I'm not a woman yet." I joked and playfully pushed him away.

"Well, if you want to go in that direction, I can help turning you into a real woman.." he commented and I blushed furiously.

"You are going to pay for that comment when we'll be alone." I declared.

"You are also y when you are mad." Yongguk said and I blushed even harder.

"We should go." I muttered, pretending to search for our waitress.

"Are you that eager to be alone with me?" he teased, smirking.

"Are you that eager to be beaten to death?" I retorted and he laughed.

"You are amazing." He complimented.

"You are an idiot." I shook my head.

"We really do match well together, don't you think?"

"Yongguk." I growled.

"Alright, I'll stop teasing you." He ruffled my hair. "Pay for the meal and let's go."

"Where?" I asked curiously.

"Your dorm? My dorm? The company?" Yongguk offered.

"It's kinda late, so maybe we should go home.."

"Whatever you want, princess."

~

"Welcome back!" Eun Hee and Sey greeted happily when Yujin returned to the dorm.

"What are you two up to?" Yujin asked, staring at them suspiciously.

"Let's do a girls' night!" Sey exclaimed. "After everyone gets here."

"We haven't done it in a while." Eun Hee added.

"Okay." Yujin smiled. "Should we call Hyeri and Sumi to see where they are?"

"That would be great."

~

"I had an amazing day today." Yongguk said when we stood in front of my building.

"Me too." I said shyly.

"And I was really happy today, especially when we were at your dorm." I blushed thinking what he referred to and covered my face in embarrassment.

"I was talking about our conversation, what were you thinking about?" Yongguk teased when he saw my reaction. "I was happy that you opened up to me."

"You are too much." I claimed and removed my hands from my face. "Stop teasing me."

"But it's fun."

"You are mean to me." I pouted.

"What are boyfriends for?" Yongguk asked, smirking.

"Protecting their girlfriends and taking care of them?"

"I'm trying to do that but you get mad at me every time I'm trying to spoil you."

"Because you spend too much money on me. You can spoil me without doing that."

"Women." Yongguk sighed. "Why are you so complicated?"

"We are not complicated." I claimed.

"Yeah, right." He scoffed.

I was about to respond when my phone rang. I checked the caller ID and it was Sey.

"Saved by the bell." I joked and answered the call.

"Where are you?" Sey asked before I managed to say anything.

"Outside."

"Come home."

"Why? Is there a fire?"

"No, but we are having a girls' night and we are only waiting for you. Get your over here."

"I'm busy." I claimed just to annoy her.

"Let me talk to Yongguk." Sey asked.

"I'm going up so leave my boyfriend alone." I said.

"Since when were you this possessive?" she teased.

"I'm hanging up." I said and finished the call before she said anything.

"Who was it?" Yongguk asked curiously.

"Sey. I need to go up, they want to do a girls' night."

"Call me before you'll go to sleep? I should be awake."

"Sure." I smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too, princess." He said and leaned in to kiss me.

~

"Finally." Sey exclaimed when I entered our dorm. The girls were already in the living room in their pajamas and it looked like they were only waiting for me.

"What's with the alcohol?" I asked, pointing at the beer bottles on the table in the living room.

"It's part of our girls' night. You will open up more after you'll drink." Sey explained.

"We have schedules tomorrow so don't exaggerate." I said.

"Gosh, it's just beer. No one will get drunk because of it." Sumi said, rolling her eyes.

"Hyeri, go change and join us." Yujin said and I entered our bedroom.

~

"Welcome back." Himchan greeted when Yongguk entered the dorm.

"Why are all of you here?" Yongguk asked after looking around. The boys were gathered in the living room with snacks and soju.

"It has been a while since we spent time together like this." Daehyun said.

"You know, the girls are doing a girls' night at the moment." Yongguk said, amused. "You really have a great timing."

"Are you joining us or not?" Himchan asked impatiently.

"Yes."

~

"Hyeri, talk to us." Sey said when I sat down.

"About what?"

"What did you do with Yongguk today?"

"We went to the art exhibition and then had dinner."

"And that's it?"

"Yes."

"You didn't do anything else?" Sey kept asking.

"No. What were we supposed to do?" I asked, starting to get annoyed. I hate it when she is going around in circles instead of asking what she wants to know.

"Make a progress?" she suggested and I blushed.

"We are not talking about it." I declared. "If there is something you should know, I'll tell you about it in private."

"Okay." She dropped the subject and I was relieved. "But Eun Hee wants to ask you something."

"Yah!" Eun Hee exclaimed, glaring at Sey.

"What? Something bothered you earlier."

"What is it?" I asked Eun Hee.

"It's nothing." Eun Hee said.

"Eun Hee is embarrassed after she kisses Youngjae so she runs away every time it happens." Sey said and Eun Hee started to blush and hid her face behind Yujin's back.

"That's so cute!" Yujin exclaimed.

"How is that cute? I can't even face him." Eun Hee said quietly.

"At least you kissed." Sey commented and everyone laughed.

"What does Youngjae do after you kiss?" I asked.

"He is not doing anything and then I run away." Eun Hee pouted. Sey handed her a bottle of beer and she started drinking.

"Why are you embarrassed?" Yujin asked curiously. "It's pretty normal for couples to kiss. There is nothing to be embarrassed about."

"I'm just.. Not used to it." Eun Hee admitted and took a long sip from her drink. It was easier to drink than talking about her feelings.

"Well, I think it will get better with time because you'll feel more comfortable with him." I said. "But you should try staying there instead of running away. I'm sure Youngjae will know what to do in order to make you feel more comfortable."

"He won't." Eun Hee said. "Don't you remember how we started dating?"

"I do, but you have to give him some credit.."

"He is not the manly and decisive type like Yongguk. He is also oblivious to a lot of things around him, kinda like Jongup. Everything is complicated with Youngjae.."

"Leave my Jongup alone!" Yujin exclaimed.

"My Jongup?" Sey exclaimed, smirking. "Since when is he 'your' Jongup?"

"He is not mine.." Yujin trailed off, realizing she made a mistake because she talked before thinking. It was just her wishful thinking and not the reality. "But I want him to be."

"Aigoo.. So pathetic." Sumi commented.

"Because you are amazing." Sey mocked. "You are stuck on someone else's boyfriend that doesn't want you and you sleep with everything that has a pulse."

"That's none of your business."

"Get a grip, will you? Live your life properly with someone that actually likes you even if it's hard finding one because of your ty personality."

"Sey, calm down." I said.

"Your precious boyfriend also sleeps with everything that has a pulse, so why are you criticizing me for doing that?" Sumi asked.

"And even he has standards because he didn't sleep with you." Sey mocked.

"." Sumi cursed.

"Both of you, stop it." I raised my voice, trying to sound authoritative. "Don’t ruin our fun evening."

"Fine." Sey sighed. I looked at Sumi, who merely nodded.

"Great." I smiled. "So Yujin, do you want to tell us about Jongup?"

~

"Moon Jongup." Himchan called.

"Yes?" Jongup asked.

"What do you think of Yujin?" Himchan smirked.

"She is not dancing that well. She reminds me of Yongguk before we debuted in that aspect."  Jongup answered in a serious manner and everyone burst out laughing.

"What kind of an answer is that?" Youngjae exclaimed.

"You asked what I think about her." Jongup answered innocently.

"Not in that way." Himchan said.

"Well, that's what I think."

"I think we found someone more hopeless than Youngjae.." Daehyun commented and Youngjae smacked Daehyun's head.

"Yah, I'm older than you!" Daehyun exclaimed while rubbing his head.

"It doesn't mean you can't be an idiot." Youngjae replied, smiling innocently.

"Jongup, do you like her?" Himchan asked, not letting Jongup get away with it.

"I guess you can say that." Jongup said and everyone laughed once more because of his emotionless expression.

"What's wrong with your answers?" Daehyun pondered. "If you like her, you should say so. Why are you acting like a robot?"

"You never told Narae you liked her until she forced you to say that." Youngjae reminded him.

"It wasn't like that!" Daehyun exclaimed. "I told her I liked her on my own will."

"When she threatened to leave."

"That's different! Stop bringing up unrelated stuff!"

"Just because you are uncomfortable it doesn’t mean it's unrelated!" Youngjae retorted.

"You are arguing like a married couple." Himchan commented and both Daehyun and Youngjae shut up immediately.

"We finally found what can shut Jung Daehyun up!" Jongup said happily.

"Yah!"

~

"Hyeri, there is an article about you!" Eun Hee exclaimed happily while checking her phone.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's because of the show you did with Sey." She said and showed me her phone. The article was praising my appearance and the comments seemed nice as well.

"Wow.. As expected from our leader." Sey said, smiling.

"They are exaggerating.. I didn't do anything."

"You were great and you deserve the praise." Yujin said sheepishly.

"Thank you." I blushed.

"There is another article about the fan meeting yesterday." Sumi said after checking her phone as well.

"What did they say?"

"They are complimenting you for defending Yujin." Sumi said and I could tell she was forcing herself to act nice. It must be really annoying for her to see me getting praised but for a change I don't care. She should have worked harder if she wanted to get the spotlight.

"Hyeri, you are on a roll." Sey said, smiling. "But I'm happy for you. If you are popular we are popular."

"I'm not popular yet, those are just two articles."

"But it's better than nothing. We are going in the right direction thanks to you hard work." Eun Hee said and hugged me.

"You are exaggerating. All of us are working hard and if we'll keep doing this we will be popular one day."

"Can you believe that tomorrow we are starting the last week of promotions?" Yujin asked.

"Time went by quickly." Sey said.

"Let's drink for an awesome week and that we could finish the promotion cycle successfully." Yujin said and we all grabbed our bottles.

"Let's drink to that." We said together.

"When we'll finish promoting let's drink with B.A.P." Sey said.

"Sounds like a good idea."

~

"Is everything okay?" Himchan asked Yongguk when they were heading to their room after the improvised gathering ended.

"Yeah." Yongguk answered.

"You are extremely smiley since you came back."

"I just had a good day."

"Is Hyeri finally developing a conscience and letting you touch her?" Himchan teased.

"Shut it." Yongguk growled.

"But seriously, what happened?"

"She is finally opening up to me." The older male smiled. "And she is getting better in that aspect as well."

"I'm really happy for you. It's good to see you smiling and happy." Himchan said, smiling warmly.

"The more I spend time with her and the more she opens up to me, the more I love her."

"Who would have thought that the tough Yongguk would talk like this about a girl.."

"I can't wait to spend more time with her and to get to know other sides of her as well."

"Wait until the honeymoon period is over."

"I'm immune. We had enough bickering until now for eternity." Yongguk claimed and Himchan laughed.

"You have a point."

"Is everything going okay with Sey?"

"Perfect." Himchan smiled. "I'm thinking of introducing her to my family soon."

"That's great!" Yongguk smiled. "Does your family know you are dating?"

"They know that there is someone but they don't know the details yet.. I didn't want to share too much before knowing if our relationship is serious."

"I'm sure that your family will love her."

"I hope so."

"Don't worry. When are you thinking of doing that?"

"I wanted to do that on our comeback showcase but our comeback is not really happening at the moment.." Himchan rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"I'm sure you'll find the right time." Yongguk patted Himchan's back. "Let's go to sleep, we have things to do tomorrow."

"We do?"

"I want to record a new song."

"Oh."

"Good night, Himchan." Yongguk said before taking his clothes off and getting in bed.

"Good night, Yongguk." Himchan did the same.

After getting ready for sleep I sat in the living room and dialed Yongguk's number. The girls were already sleeping and I didn't want to disturb them.

"Hey babe." Yongguk's voice was heard after two rings.

"Hey." I smiled.

"Did you finish your girls' night?"

"Yes. What did you do tonight?"

"We did a men's night in our dorm."

"Copycats." I teased.

"It wasn't my idea. They already started it when I got back home."

"What did you do?"

"We watched adult movies."

"Yah, you ert!" I could feel my cheeks heat. I heard Yongguk laugh and it made me smile. I love his laughter.

"I'm joking. We had a few drinks and we talked, that's it." Yongguk said. "What about you?"

"Same."

"Did you talk about me?"

"You are not that important." I teased.

"I'm hurt."

"Well, did you talk about me?" I asked.

"What do you think?"

"Maybe only you and Himchan talked about me."

"That's.. A secret."

"You are just being mean because I didn't tell you if we talked about you."

"Babe."

"What?"

"You should go to sleep, it's getting late."

"But I want to talk to you more." I pouted.

"We'll have time to talk tomorrow. Besides, you spent almost the whole day with me."

"It's not enough." I said childishly and Yongguk laughed.

"Stop being so cute, you are making it harder for me to hang up."

"Then don't."

"You are going to be tired tomorrow if you won't go to sleep."

"I don't care." I said. I know I was being childish but I just didn't want to let go yet. No matter how much time we spend together, I still want more.

"Then should we talk for five more minutes?" Yongguk offered and I could tell that he was smiling.

"Can we do a video call? I want to see you."

"Alright, I'll call you in a few moments. I'm going to the living room because Himchan is here."

"I can't wait."

Author's Note:

Sorry, I didn't finish everything I wanted in the last chapter so I had to finish the day in this one.

Now I have finally gotten to where I wanted to and there will be some surprises soon. The pace is going to be a little faster as well.

Also, Jongup fans - There might be a surprise for you in the next chapter ;)

Chapter 156: Wow, I was blaming both of them at 1st, as things could’ve been handled so much better on both sides. I loved how Himchan & Sey reasoned with both of them, but Hyeri crossed a line once Yongguk apologized. I didn’t feel she necessarily deserved it, but I knew they both needed it.... sure the way he apologized, did seem like a back handed apology, as her kissing technique could’ve been discussed privately. But Hyeri towards Himchan, she needs to make this better, and of course, he hit below the belt, but she had consistently hit below the belt prior & then to hit him!!! I’m not sure how this is going to turn out, thank you for updating!!

Chapter 156: I still one hundred percent believe that this entire situation is one in which Hyeri is very much at fault. I don’t think Yongguk is in a position where Hyeri requires an apology and I don’t think Hyeri even DESERVES an apology. She completely blew a small and minor incident out of proportion.

I do believe that Himchan went slightly too far with the comment he made however Hyeri shouldn’t have been as horrible to him as she was.

Chapter 155: Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!! I was BEYOND happy to see the update, wow so much happened, where to begin? I see Hyeri & Himchan are still at each other’s throats, I do wish they could get along, and that Hyeri would see the validity in what Himchan said, but no matter what, I think time stopped when Yongguk said Sumi was a better kisser. I felt bad, that super slam, even if honest, that was the time to lie. Especially knowing Hyeri... I was shocked she would kiss him after that was said, and kept thinking why does kissing Yongguk keep coming up, even after he said she wasn’t as good of a kisser. .... sighs, once again, he’s storming out and even with his stupid honestly, I can’t say I blame him. Thank you so much for coming back & for updating,

Chapter 153: Thank you for updating despite your busy schedule. I truly hope that Hyeri is ok! She let a lot of things off her chest the night before, and while I do wish she would've thought of the impact her leaving like that would have, I hope they catch her in time before she does something that would change all of their lives. Regarding the comment I just read, there's a difference between constructive criticism & just plain being rude. While it's true, being factual or doing some research on weightier subjects is a good rule of thumb, most of us are adults that don't use fanfics as our barometer of social issues. Assuming what someone's language is, was completely unnecessary to state. You don't have to read the story, if you're a writer, you should understand what it takes to create, upload & continue a story remembering details from previous chapters...etc. If you're not a writer, perhaps you should put yourself in the author's shoes before you begin.
