Kris was still tipsy and happy as the both of you walked.

“Hyung. You okay?” you asked the drunken Kris.

“Yeah. Of course I am.” He said laughing. He placed his arm around your shoulders as the two of you walked on the empty streets.

“Daebakk hyung.” You smirked. “You’re so wrecked.” You added.

“Hmpf. I’d be worst if I didn’t have to keep an eye for you.” He smirked back. “The guys in that club are all over you.” He continued.

You rolled your eyes and shook your head. “Always happens. Better be used to it.” you said.

He scoffs and said “Woah! That’s a lot of confidence you got there.” And you both laughed.

“But seriously. You really stood out there even if you’re not the idol Rei.” He beamed while in daze as the both of you walk.

You grinned and said “Tell me something I don’t know.” confidently.

“I loved you.” He mumbled but enough for you to hear.

You were taken aback by his words and actually not shocked about it. It’s not like you expected it or something but this normally happens. It even happened when you filmed a CF with Sung Joon and many more. And there’s something different on the way Kris really treats you but you just couldn’t point it out and this is the answer.

A moment of silence occurred but you didn’t want an awkward moment so you decided to speak.

“Well, that’s new.” You said with a chuckle.

Kris thought that you took it as a joke and stopped walking.

“I’m dead serious Rei.” He said in a serious tone.

“I know. I didn’t say that you were joking. I just said that it’s new.” You reasoned and intertwined your arms to his to continued walking and Kris just let you drag him.

“Sorry.” You said to break the silence and to answer his feelings.

“It’s okay. I know your answer already and besides, I said it on past tense.” He replied.

You chuckled at his words and how he took the situation.

“You’re a very cool guy Kris. But that brother of your is just strange. I don’t know what he did to me.” You explained.

“I know. His aegyo is lethal.” He beamed and the both of you laughed.

Then a silence appeared again.

“Rei?” he called you.

“Mm?”

“Let’s become the coolest hyung and dongsaeng in the world.” He said accepting your rejection and really finally letting you go.

“Sure.” you answered. “We already are without even trying.” You added making the mood livelier.

“Rei?” he called you again.

“Spit it out.” You said in a normal tone.

“Can you give me a good bye hug?” he asked and stopped again from walking.

You paused a bit and looked at him. He has these sad twinkles in his eyes but see no regrets at all. You walked towards him and wrapped your arms to his body.

“Thanks.” He mumbled between the hug.

“Don’t mention it.” you said as you gave him a comforting tap on his back.

A few seconds later, he broke the hug and swing his arms on your shoulders.

“Let’s go home!” he cheered and you chuckled at your hyung’s childish behavior.

“Kaja!!” you cheered and the both of you started walking home again.

"You owe me for letting you go this easy." Kris said.

"Yeah. I'll make it up to you somehow." you beamed as the two of you walk together with his arm on your shoulders.

"Make it up to me by going to Trish's and Gab's wedding the day after tomorrow." he said with a grin.

Your eyes widened as you gasped in shock to the sudden news.

"Trish is what?!" you whispered shout.

"Trish's wedding with Gab." he repeated like he was just saying random things.

"Okay. I'm shocked. How could you not tell me about this?" you hissed at Kris.

He shrugged his shoulders and said "You never asked."

You sighed and massaged your temple.

"I'll talk to manager appa if I could stay but I have to go as soon as it's finished." you said.

"Sure. Just want you to come coz Trish really like you and you’re her first female friend. She's been with us guys since forever." he explained.

"m'kay. Anyway, I need to go shopping for the dress." you said as Kris opened the door of his house.

"Sure we can all go sightseeing while you shop." he cheered.

The both of you arrived home at 5 am and went to sleep. And since you were expecting of spending the night with Tao, you placed your pajamas in his baggage and didn’t have one to wear for tonight. Luckily, Mrs. Wu has a short that she kept when she was younger that fitted you well and lent you an oversized comfortable sweater to sleep on.

Morning approached quickly and you went down to have breakfast after washing up.
