Song Ji Hyo went back to Kwang Soo's after the press conference. He was still sleeping since he got out of filming quite late, and he only slept when she went out. But by the time she opened the bedroom door, he awoke. 'You're home?' He says, smiling at him. She couldn't get tired of this sight, times like this she realizes that he meant a lot to her. She sat on the bed next to him, and leaned on him.
'Was it hard?' He asked her, and she merely answered with a sigh. 'It must be.' He kissed the top of her head. She wasn't even out long, but he realizes how much he had missed her. It has been weeks, and she has been spending so much time. Sharing the same bed, the same one-bathroom, the same space together. At first, she was a bit scared of the idea, the idea of sharing a space with someone. You keep thinking, are they comfortable? Or maybe even, am I comfortable? But she came in and out of his home as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Without a doubt, she did not feel scared at all. All she felt everyday while she was out is how eager she is to come home and see him. She was careful, of course, not to get caught, since if people would have known that this was between them, what would they say?
'Noona.' He calls her, who was daydreaming.
She raises her eyebrows. 'Hm?'
'Do you want to move in with me?' He asked her, and that put her in a mild shock.
'Move in?' She asked. 'To here?'
'It doesn't matter though, whether it's this place, or another. Maybe a two bedroom, I don't know. I've been thinking about it a lot, and I think it would be a smart thing to do.' He says.
'You do know what it means though, for me to move in with you?' She asked, her shoulders are all tense.
'We don't need to do it now. We could just do it soon, when everything dies down and if you want to.' He says. 'I don't want to pressure you, noona, it's just that you've been hanging around here - and I thought why not?'
She smiles at him. 'Why not, huh?' She looks at him. 'Sure, why not, I've been wasting money on rent though. I thought about it too, but I thought you would be against it.'
'Why would I be against it?'
'I don't know. It's too early, We're heading somewhere too fast.' She assumes.
She climbs onto his lap, and leans in with a kiss. This is what love is, isn't it? The possibilities are endless, but unless you are optimistic, you seem to get a wonderful achievement out of it. It's not like the both of them are flawless, the basic fundamentalism of people are that they are flawed. But what they see in each other, gracing each other with words or maybe even the look in their eyes when they stare at each other made her realize that what they have is real, even if it will be brief.
'I've never had dated someone like you before. Like a best friend of my own, I want this to last forever if it could.' She says, her fingers crept onto his face. 'You might be sometimes annoying, sometimes impossible kind of. But you, Lee Kwang Soo, we have had a long run, and right now, if time could stop, I would never trade you for anything.'
This is what love is. This is what he meant to her. 'What if we become terrible to each other? Will you love me then?' His fingers locked into hers.
'When that day happens, I'll remember right now. I'll remember you like this. I'll remember you like today. Right this second, right this minute - I'll remember you like this.'
