The Wild Card Appears!

Downing Today, Drowning Tomorrow

themedicalscholar: Hey guys, thank you for still reading this fanfic of mine, I hope I can still update regularly. I know I can since I'm on break, but however, this is something outside of the fanfic that I would like to ask you guys. Does any of you guys know a link for a movie, Love Clinic, starring Kang Ye Won and Oh Ji Ho. I can't seem to find a decent link with GOOD subtitles, not the machine-subbed one because that . So I hope you guys can help me since this is the only community I am not afraid to ask. Please, subscribe and maybe vote my fanfic! Oh, and also comment too because I like reading all of your comments, it makes my day. Lots of love from your author-nim.

Song Ji Hyo went back home after she went to Kwang Soo's. She found herself in shock when she was the one who wanted to fall in love with him. Kwang Soo, is gentle and nice, and kind also. They have been friends for a long time; longer than anyone she has known outside Running Man. It seems like when she changed her perspective of Kwang Soo, she understood why any person would like that guy. He was charming, a bit too goofy at times but he does know how to be respectful and tries to take care of others. Since she has always been the one taking care, and also fighting with her little brother, she found Kwang Soo almost refreshing and very familliar.

She went to the kitchen and cooked himself some boodae jiggae, a recipe she found online that made her kind of interested to make it. She took out her tablet from her room and started to search back the recipe that she found from the internet. It was not that hard and the recipes is explained well - she could cook better than she thought she can, why not give it a try. She prepared the ingredients, also cleaned the chicken and took out the stone pot that she got from her mother. Seems like since her mother got older, she's been trying to ask Ji Hyo to learn how to cook. Eventually she did, and her mother was elated to share her insight on cooking.

She was busy cooking, until she heard the phone ring. She rushed to her room since her phone was charging, she picked it up without even looking at the caller ID.

'Hello?' She bids.

'Hello, Ji Hyo noona?' The person on the other line says.

'Who is this?' People's voices do change over the phone.

'It's Jong Suk, Lee Jong Suk.' He says.

'Ah- sorrry, thought you sounded familliar.'

'Didn' you save my number, noona?' She asks.

'I did, I did. I was just cooking so I rushed to anwer without even looking at the ID.' She says.

'Ah, that's okay I guess. Are you free right now, noona?' She paused when he asked that.

'I'm cooking right now, Jong Suk-ah.' She says.

'Really. Can we meet, after you've finished eating and all?' He asks.

'For what?' She asks bluntly.

There was a slight pause in between them. 'Can't I just meet someone I like, noona?'

Chapter 111: I just finished reading this, but I can’t really decide if I liked it or not. I guess the events leading to the ending (after Chapter 95) was/is not my cup of tea, it kind of made me upset in a way since I love KwangMong, that’s why. But other than that, I loved your writing. KwangMong has been my ship, so thank you for this story :)

Chapter 5: Another great chapter.

I like how Kwang Soo is very caring towards Ji Hyo.
I also liked the way he stumbled when Ji Hyo asked the innocent question, "Did you sleep okay?" It was kinda endearing.

Although at the end of the chapter, I ended up feeling a little sorry for Ji Hyo. Yes, she was partly to blame for encouraging Kwang Soo to drink, but she had to be the one comforting him.

I kinda felt both characters cared deeply about the other. With Ji Hyo fixing him breakfast and then comforting him and with Kwang Soo apologising even though it was not entirely his fault for what happened the night before. And I like that you had him behave timidly. It feels like you are setting us up that he cares very deeply for her. If not he wouldn't be so afraid of shaking the status quo.

I'm so looking forward to find out what happens to them! I've upvoted and subscribed. You have yourself a fan!

Chapter 4: I can't believe I never read this story before. I chanced upon your story while browsing the kwangmong tag and I'm sure glad I did. I think your your style of writing is very unique and I'm really kinda enjoying the short chapters.

Although I'm only four chapters in, I'm hooked and I can't wait to find out what happens next! Now off I go to read the rest of the story!

Hey, I have to admit I was a silent reader to this and was pleasantly surprised when you updated and completed it! I just love your style of writing, it really captured my attention to the point where I binge read the first 50 chapters then realised that it was unhealthy hahaha.
It was such a roller coaster for both Ji Hyo and Kwang Soo, I had always thought that their relationship was moving so fast that it would hurtle of the tracks. It was such a bitter sweet open ending which leaves me hoping for something more. Overall the whole story was so realistic which I found captivating, it showed not only highs of a relationship but also the lows.
So thanks for sharing this. I can't wait for you next idea. I look forward to reading it.
