Downing Today, Drowning Tomorrowthemedicalscholar: I hope you guys have enjoyed it so far and I hope I don't . I sincerely think that it's going okay, but you never know. It's a bit heavy isn't it, the previous chapter? I'm waiting for you guys to comment, so I can finally make some friends here.
Post as Kwang Soo left, Song Ji Hyo thought she really needed guidance. She could feel herself getting really scared for herself. She found herself dialling the first number in her mind.
'Song Ji Hyo, I was worried! Are you okay?' He asks as soon as he picks up the phone. 'I heard you got fired?' He says. He has known Ji Hyo for a very long time, and the Nation's MC has always been the person she seeks guidance from, regardless a professional or a non-professional matter. Her oppa knows when things are up.
'Who cares about that, oppa? I'm in a crisis.'
'What's wrong?' He asked.
'Let's meet up, oppa, I am not planning on telling anybody else but you.' She says.
He sighs. 'Okay, let's meet at the snack bar I introduced you too, I'm thinking of getting some street food anyways.'
'Let's meet by eight.'
'You got it.'
Upon agreeing, she hung up and sat on the kitchen floor. She never thought that Kwang Soo would get that emotional, I guess that he really did care about her. Kwang Soo is a few years younger than him, and she never really sees him as nothing but a dongsaeng that she is familliar about. But looking from his actions last night, his long fingers traced along her body tenderly. Her heart beats faster and faster, but she needs to simply snap out of it. It's not something she would like to feel for Lee Kwang Soo.
They rarely meet outside the set but they do always eat together, making them close inside and outside the television screen. Song JI Hyo wore a white dress paired with black stockings, and draped a cardigan over it. Fall is coming and it is getting a bit chilly outside, but not so cold to bulk up. At eight o' clock sharp, she arrived as her oppa came about a few minutes earlier. They chose a more secluded place from the public, making sure that a crowd does not form around them. He orded a tall glass of Coke whle she chose her favorite Iced Americano. They ordered a few snacks, dduboki, ramyeon, all of the good stuff that the Korean cuisine can offer.
There were people whispering, but this was a daily occurence, it was natural for them to be in the limelight.
'Tell me, what's on your mind Ji Hyo-ah?' He asked as he sipped a bit of his coke. They only started talking when their drinks arrived.
'It's about Kwang Soo, oppa.' She says, outright without trying to hide anything.
'What? Did he piss you off or something?' He casually take a sip from his carbonated drink.
'I, I slept with Kwang Soo, oppa.' She says, uttering his words slowly, but loud enough for him to hear.
'Slept as in?' He leaned over towards her.
'Slept, 'slept'. We had the other day.'
Jae Suk-oppa almost choked on his drink. 'What happened?'
'You know, the news about me getting fired went over my head, and so Kwang Soo decided to take me drinking since I couldn't stop crying. All I know is, we drank and somehow along the way, I woke up with him next to me in the morning.'
'Jihyo-ya, this is not something that this oppa can fix. You need to keep this to yourself, since this can affect your work also. You need to understand that this is not to be taken lately. Does Kwang Soo have feelings for you?' He asks.
She shrugs. 'I don't know. What I do know is he got really upset, he thought that he shouldn't have done what we did. He's such a sweet kid.' She utters slowly, is getting dry. She did not know what to do, and she wondered what Kwang Soo is reacting to all of this.
'Let's just hope that things will blow over, talk to him, at least try. Oppa couldn't do anything for you Jihyo-ya, whateveer comes next, you need to overcome yourself. I'll listen to you, but that's the only thing I can do for you.' He says, leaving Song Ji Hyo speechless.
